GMAFB -- her parents did a crappy job raising her so she killed Caylee. Mmm, NOT!!!!

NONE of it is a factor....millions instead got a job, went to school to be able to be independent adults so that still living under a parent's roof as an adult wasnt a factor for themselves or their child.   This is no reflection on Caylee whatsoever because she didnt have a choice in how she came into the world but no one also told Casey to be careless or reckless enough to get pregnant as an unwed teen.

My parents were no GA and CA -- thank God. But I didn't raise my daughter in the exact way they raised me. i made improvements.

It can never be Casey's fault.  BUT IT IS!!!!!

Is this still the first one they're questioning?
Yes. And apparently there's still another phase, at least, for this guy to go through.

Other circumstances include her upbringing, immaturity, a scapegoat for parental misconduct, sexual abuse, used as a pawn by parents, poor parental guidance

Wow!!!  Is it just me or does it sound as if the defense is expecting KC to be found guilty?     And the fact that they can ask a juror those questions implies to me they will each be brought up in the trial.

-poor impulse control
-sexual abuse
-parents failed to protect
-was not taught coping skills

Oh my goodness.

In a death penalty case, the defense has to prepare for a potential penalty phase.

Did I hear "scapegoat" for her parents?

The only serious thing i can think of is G molesting her and C covering up for it or both parents knowing and allowing for her to be sexually abused.  The weirdness of how all these family members interact would make sense to me if the paternity of Caylee went to G.

or that one or both of them actually killed Caylee and Casey is the scapegoat for that.

Right, not in a million years would she cover or keep her mouth shut. She'd sell them down the river in a heartbeat.

Not for one split second do I believe anyone other than Casey Anthony is responsible for the murder of Caylee.

Good point.  I swear that at an early point, the defense was asked to state whether they were going to claim someone else did it or something along those lines.

Seems like Lee is going under the bus for sexual abuse, and the parents for allowing it.

I understand, but I would never be able to serve as a juror.  Once those questions are posed, they would remain in the back of my mind.  Now they have been asked, I expect them to be used  as KC's defense.

If they do plan to claim sexual abuse from a family member, then the authorities need to go after that family member and that person should have to be registered as a sexual offender. Society needs to know what kind of predator is living next door.

Used as a pawn by parents, no coping skills taught, used to deflect parents bad behaviour, physically abused, sexually abused, ....I wish the Rosebuds were in there right nwo to hear what the defense is planning

Do you think they are watching this?  I hope so.
