Thank u ! She is a little doll all 5# 8 oz of her !

I am going to Pa. to pick up my new ride on Fri. afternoon.
A 3 hour drive but definetly worth it. I paid 13,000. and it ONLY has
15,000 miles ! The warranty is transferable to me. I have driven junk for
many years and am excited. After your children comple college, and leave
home, then u can buy better. LOL

Sun. pm around 10 pm, the new baby stopped breathing for NO reason.
Our daughter in law did cpr on her and they took her to the er immediatly.
She was taken via ambulance that night to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland.
She is still there & we do not know what the diagnosis is yet, but she is
on an iv & they r checking out everything. She was born about 6 weeks early & we all thought she was just fine.
At 20 days old she showed this problem.

Babies & children come to that hospital from all over the US and world ! They r next door to the Cleveland Clinic, &
ONLY treat those under 18. They will resolve this I am sure, but prayers please !

I feel bad as this is their 1st child and this is not a good experience to consider a 2nd child in the future !Eric is almost 38 and his wife 36 in Nov. Careers and home stable first ? I will be in a wheel chair when she graduates ! ha ha !

Prayers for the baby and your entire family.

I live in Southern PA..about 147 miles directly north of the quake...and yes ..there was a whole lotta shaking going on here.  My desk was shaking, my chair..a large wingback chair..was shaking with me in it...the whole house was shaking...but no real damage.  But unusual to say the least.

To all the monkeys that felt the earthquake be safe and hope no one has any damage.  I read  they up graded it to a 5.9 and was felt in Canada.  They were evacuating the Pentagon.

I have to wonder if mining and fracking caused that earthquake in Virginia.  5.8-5.9 is pretty big for the east coast.

I wondered that too.

The one a long time ago in Missouri was an 8.1, the Madrid fault? Lately they have had one earthquake in Indiana.

Wish all our East Coast Monkeys the very best and stay safe; look for horizontal lines along your foundation and in your rooms, especially around the doors and windows.

OK, all you West Coast Monkeys.............  I'm far more comfortable scolding you guys for laughing off the earth moving under your feet than I am worrying about my own little patch of earth deciding to surf!

Klaas, I don't know about the mining effects, but it does seem plausible. There are big networks of natural caverns and underground caves throughout the effected area, too. Around here, they won't install concrete inground pools because of them. Liner pools have some "sway" built in. I found a list of underground caverns by state and these are just the ones that have been developed for the public to visit. It's interesting because California apparently has quite a few as well. Hmmmmmm..... maybe there is a connection?

Here in N. Texas the gas drilling is never-ending and there were a swarm of unusual quakes in several areas around here in the past 5 or 6 years.  They have been testing these areas and its still up in the air whether to blame the drilling and fracking but the concensus from so many of the pros is more than likely it is a contributing factor.

It seems that Tuesday's earthquake has cracked the Washington Monument. It's closed until further notice:

http://news.yahoo.com/washington-monument-top-cracked-earthquake-021629839.html

I had seen earlier that the National Cathedral suffered some pretty significant damage. I remember the first time I went to Washington thinking what a loss it would be if anything or anyone managed to destroy the incredible monuments and buildings there. It really is a beautiful place and there is wonderful purpose in the planning of it.

I recently had to replace my paper towel holder.  I got this one after reading the reviews and absolutely LOVE IT!  It's a bit expensive but well worth it!
