Hi Monkeys,
I did not make it to Orlando.  My 10 month old son was involved in an accident which caused him and the family to spend the previous evening and early morning in the ER.  Followed up by an office visit to the doctor yesterday. 

As much as BJ gets on our nerves, we need him.  He is giving KC want she deserves--a conviction   I've said it before, BJ and the rest of the defense team is so unlikeable and add to the hatred that the public has for skank.  If you look at the polls that the news media are conducted, over 90% believes she should have the death penalty. 

Sorry about your son, 3Babbies.

I worried about you all day yesterday. I was skeert that Spindy would come after you with her hammer.

Rep. Grayson wants to launch missing-child program named after Caylee Anthony

U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson wants $500,000 from Congress to establish a missing child program in Orlando named in memory of Caylee Marie Anthony.

If granted, the funds would be given to the Ft. Lauderdale-based "A Child is Missing" organization, which helps law-enforcement across the country search for missing children, elderly or disabled people.

ACIM uses a rapid-response telephone system to alert communities when someone is missing. The nonprofit can place 1,000 calls in 60 seconds, can process multiple cases simultaneously, and works without jurisdictional boundaries.

Grayson's request requires the money be spent in the 8th District, which includes Orange and Lake counties.


"I have five children. Every parent's worst nightmare is to lose a child," Grayson said Wednesday morning. "We need to do everything we can to prevent that."

Grayson has not spoken to Caylee's family about his federal funding request, but thought naming the program after the slain toddler would honor her memory.

"We're naming the center after her because she has become a symbol of love lost," he said.

Sherry Friedlander, executive director of ACIM, said if the funding request is granted, her group will be able to establish numerous programs in Central Florida, including awareness programs on bullying and sexual-predator awareness. The funding would also be used to help train law enforcement officers.

"This program is the only program of its kind in the country," she said. "We appreciate [Grayson's] acknowledgment in wanting to safeguard the children and adults in his area."

None of the funds would be given to members of Caylee's family, who established a foundation to help families of missing, abused or exploited children.

On Wednesday, the lawyer representing Caylee's grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony, said he hasn't had an opportunity to talk to Grayson.

But he said the funding request "sounds promising and we want to contact Mr. Grayson's team and see what we can do to help."

Does anyone else remember seeing Andrea Yates and Susan Smith out shaking their groove things after they killed their kids??? I don't. Not saying any one of them is better than the other. Just saying Casey is a different creature entirely.

Come on Mr. Butfuz you should know that by now.

I had reason to be in the court room several times during Andrea Yates trail..I have never seen a more pitiful person in my life. That woman was truly mentally ill and IMO she should never have been tried. She should have  been committed to a mental institution (which of course she eventually was). The times I saw her I do not believe she had any real comprehension of the happenings around her. Her attorney, George Parnham was amazing.....and this case  cost his health. IMO Rusty Yates should have been charged with abuse and anything else in the law books that could be applied to him. What a poor excuse for a human being. As well as her doctors and insurance company...oh mercy don't let me get started on either of those!!

KC has exhibited none of the post partum symptoms that were discussed in depth in this trial. She is just plain EVIL.

Oh, wow, I so agree, I don't want to get started about what I think of Rusty Yates, and to think he has a new child and wife......

The state attorney’s office initially said it would not seek the death penalty, but changed that decision with a court filing Monday afternoon.

Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Anthony.In nearly 100 years, a Florida jury has sentenced only 16 women to death, and most of those sentences were later thrown out for various legal reasons.

“Very few women are put to death in Florida,” defense attorney Jose Baez said. “She’s not a serial killer.”

There are 392 people sitting on Florida’s death row, and only one, Tiffany Cole, is a woman.Cole was convicted of kidnapping a husband and wife from Duval County and burying them alive.

Two women have been executed in the state of Florida in the past 85 years, serial killer Eileen Wurenos and Judy Buenoano.

Buenoano earned the nickname “The Black Widow” for poisoning her husband with arsenic in 1971. She later drowned her paralyzed son in a lake and tried to blow up her boyfriend with a car bomb.

 Anthony is charged with murdering a child, a crime that juries rarely find worth of capital punishment.A South Carolina jury rejected the death penalty for Susan Smith in 1995. She was convicted of murdering her two young sons.

Andrea Yates was given a life sentence by a Houston jury for drowning her five children in a bath tub. Texas executes more people than any other state.

 Orange County prosecutors did not seek the death penalty against Kenya Hill. While already on probation for child abuse, authorities found the body of hill’s four-year-old daughter decomposing in a South Orange Blossom Trail motel room that was covered in trash and soaked with urine.

The child’s skull had been fractured and she had contusions on her neck.  Hill was convicted of second-degree murder.

Does it seem odd that he didn't state that she wasn't a murderer? Just that she's not a serial killer. Knowing the defense..............I'm probably just taking it out of context!
