Good Morning! 

20 degrees with snow on the ground here. We've finally got some sun peeking through and the wind is gone. I've been talking to my son in California, and he is in light jacket. He said the people who live there are dressed up like they are going on an artic expedition.

We have friends who live in Florida and when it is 50 they have their coats on similar to what we put on at 10 above  Heck at 50 degrees we still have windows open some days. 

I put on a parka if it gets into the 40's. Sorry about your leg Mission. That must have been awful.

I had to do the celsius conversion to see what temp you guys were talking about.  50 is still no furnace weather.  I have windows open.

I'm doing ok.  Trying to get ready for Christmas and wrapping presents so I'm in and out.    We only have 15 days til Christmas everyone!   
How are you doing, Mission?

I'm with Mission,I am gonna get all my wrapping done in the next couple of days and chill.
We have a get together next weekend with all the Grandkids and Christmas at my Dads. 
The kids want sandwiches and snacks.I said great!    We will have punch for the kids .they love it.I will have my own private punch.   

I think your private punch sounds like fun. Have a glass or two for me.

Heck yeah, us too. 50 degrees is "airing out weather" around here...in the springtime. Now,it's 19 out, supposed to go lower. I have decided to not go anywhere today. Haven't yet vacuumed, but have done some laundry. I think I need a nap!!

Hi Tevye - I was going to send you a shout out earlier - I am glad to see you!  Good for you - stay in and enjoy yourself at home and hey don't knock yourself out over anything you don't feel like doing - it is going to be a cold weekend as well so if you can pace yourself. 

MISSION, you really got dumped on, didn't you. It sleeted more than it snowed here, although it is still on the ground. I laugh at the cats when they go outside, they tip-toe and run right back inside in front of the fireplace.

Fla. woman accused of hitting man with raw steak

DUNNELLON, Fla. – A 53-year-old was arrested after alledgedly hitting a man in the head with a raw steak. According to a Marion County Sheriff's Office report, the man told deputies Elsie Egan repeatedly hit him with the uncooked meat and slapped his face after he refused a piece of sliced bread. The man said he wanted a bread roll.

Egan denied hitting the man with the steak but did admit to slapping him, saying she did it "so that he could learn."

That is great news Fanny Mae. It is a fun place and lots to do. Right now it's not covered with smog. I bet you are looking forward to him coming home.

I am! However I have gotten a lot done too! We are going to smoke a pork butt and have pulled pork sandwiches this weekend!! We cook outside about once a week in the winter, providing we can get to the grill and smoker. Sometimes it means using a shovel, but I think we will be ok this weekend.
