Ironically, I just received an email to renew my membership with TES.  Here is my response.

I was ready and willing to renew my membership as I always felt Tim has been a hero for the missing and has done such great work.  I've worked side by side with him, have donated time and money.  However,  I am struggling now and 2nd guessing him since his accusations and bashing of Beth Holloway on Steph Watts show.  Many people at ScaredMonkeys.com and other sites were made aware of him during the Natalees case and helped bring his notoriety, therefore, bringing in more money and support for TES.  Beth has set aside her own concerns to help in searches and attended fundraisers. What more does he want if he has repeatedly stated he never accepts money from a victims family? .   I am totally in shock, as I've always loved Tim, but I am so confused at what he is becoming?  He just hurt so many supporters, who have defended him to no end and has contributed so much to TES, by those comments about Beth.  I can't imagine how Beth feels, but his comments are certainly going to affect future support.  I ask that he at least apologize to her.

Again, I appreciate what Tim does and would consider recommending him to anybody for his awesome experience, but I have to rethink how his comments may affect future searches. What is happening to Tim?  He seems to be loosing it?  Not the same guy I met a couple years ago.  Makes me sad.....

God Bless

Great timing and well conveyed! I bet this will not go un-noticed!

I agree, great job of communicating the issues Dihannah. I hope you and your family are well

Hi Nonesy,  I stepped away for a few.  Family is doing fine.

Thanks for all the responses.  I always worry about wording things correctly.  I had a thought afterwards that bothered me. I feel like not donating, could affect future searches of somebody deserving and innocent.  Which isn't fair to them.  My main goal is hoping if Tim gets enough responses and he rethinks what he did.  But i also do see another man that I never saw before, which concerns me on how he could turn on other innocents victims.

Catch 22?
Well, I CERTAINLY would not contribute until Tim makes it right with Beth. End of story.

Me either, wreck. It is a shame because there are some great people at TES who have helped many.

...but Tim is in charge and his decision making is really getting sloppy.

Your right Wreck!  It's not only this, but I worried about him and some of things he did when he was here during some searches.  I looked over them, as he was my hero at the time and none of us are perfect.  But things are just adding up.  Not looking good.  He may be detroying his own little empire all by himself.  That's unfortunate for alot of people!

I can handle Tim's butchery of the English language.

I can write off his love of beer.

Even if he has a gf on the side... I don't approve but I look the other way... and pray he works it out and makes wiser choices in the future.

...but when you attack Beth for no substantial reason at all...

... you've basically dumped on Natalee too.

I will fricking kill you if I could manage to find a loophole in the Stand Your Ground Law.

How dare you? Have you lost your MIND, old man?

That's like trying to steal my last sausage biscuit. It is something very near and dear to my...

Somebody will not make it out of this alive... and I don't think it will be me as the unfortunate one.

I saw this in action last week. Un-friggin'-believable.

This is the one that should have been called in for finding Natalee.
>>>
Nereus is a hybrid autonomous underwater vehicle (HROV, a type of remotely operated underwater vehicle) built by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). Constructed as a research vehicle to operate at depths of up to 36,000 feet (11,000 m), it was designed to explore Challenger Deep, the deepest surveyed point in the global ocean. Nereus, named for Greek sea god Nereus (who has a man's torso and a fish-tail) through a nationwide contest of high school and college students, began its deep sea voyage to Challenger Deep in May 2009 and reached the bottom on May 31, 2009.[1][2][3]

On this dive the Nereus reached a depth of 35,768 feet (10,902 m), making the Nereus the world's deepest-diving vehicle currently in operation, and the first since 1998 to explore the Mariana Trench, the deepest part of the ocean known.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nereus_(underwater_vehicle)

A little known fact, but long, long ago Tim had lined up to bring a vehicle of this type (not this exact one, of course, but an underwater ROV). to Aruba.  That was way, way before the Persistence.  This was blocked due to getting the proper clearance, etc. from the Aruban government.

Has Tim Forgotten?

Does Tim Miller really forget that it was a corrupt Aruban investigation that was H--- bent on protecting Joran and Paulus that hindered TES' search in Aruban waters for the remains of Natalee Holloway in the months following her disappearance or ... does Tim's silence encompassing the Persistence betrayal ... his his professional relationship with Silvetti and Shaefer as well as his disrespect of Beth Holloway imply that he has been influenced to become a participant to the Aruban cover up agenda?

TIM MILLER: We actually had our team from Florida State University. Our underwater divers actually had a connection with somebody with the Navy who was willing to go ahead and bring their equipment. Gene Ralston, one of our members has equipment to go 800ft deep and he’s done a lot of stuff with the FBI and made those contacts. We gave Chief Dompig the phone number at the FBI. They were willing to bring their equipment. Gene was willing to bring his equipment. Everything just literally stopped. We had no clue what went wrong, our trip was basically in vain.

DAVE HOLLOWAY, NATALEE HOLLOWAY‘S FATHER:  Well I arrived on the island on October the 18th and the following day I met with Dompig and he requested the assistance of the FBI, indicated that he would like for them to come back and utilize them as much as he could.  So we said well, we‘ll try to see if we can make that happen.

In the meantime, he indicated that we needed to focus our search efforts into the ocean so you know, we‘re not going to waste any time.  So we took off along with Tim Miller with EquuSearch and had boats in the water I believe by the weekend and we soon realized that we would need the assistance of the FBI and some of their search equipment, so we forwarded an e-mail to Mr. Dompig on Wednesday, sometime Wednesday requesting that he make a phone call to the FBI so that we can get this underwater equipment.

And I ended up having to leave the island on Thursday and then—and my reports back from those individuals who were left, they felt like the light had been turned out.  And so I followed up again Saturday with the same e-mail the you know we‘re all sitting on the bank and we cannot get in the water until we get the assistance of the FBI and that team finally had to leave this past Monday or Tuesday.

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY, MOTHER OF NATALEE HOLLOWAY: I think that it was in the—in October, possibly early November, when Tim Miller was trying to finish this search when, of course, the depth of the water exceeded his equipment. And that‘s when he was needing the officials on the island to contact or pick up the phone and make one phone call to the FBI for some additional equipment. And they refused to do that.

What did the Beth and Dave get for $400,000.????????????????????????????????????????? Absolutely NOTHING and insults for Beth.
Wreck, I very seldom disagree with you, except in this case.  I don't discredit anyone who receives any funding to try to assist with finding the missing, and even though they receive funding does not mean that they will be able to uncover anything of value, but at least they tried.  Just as I don't mind if they have cameras rolling or if they write a book about it or create a program from it.

I totally agree with you, however, on the insults being unwarranted.

I am still in shock that TJ Ward was paid $400,000 and has the audacity to question Beth's
money handling.

Me too Magnolia!

Mags and TM...

That number came from a document that was released. I should have saved it, but maybe I was feeling lazy that day. It could have been a Kalpoe document or an accounting of the 503c that someone posted - anyway it's here somewhere. I don't have any way to verify it is accurate unless I ask and I'm not doing that.

TJ has never told me what he was paid. And I never asked. It would be pretty foolish to ask someone that.

I guess I can see both sides of this.

Should he have done it pro bono - heck I don't know. He's in business to make a profit and not absorb debt and endanger his own personal business. He does have many people working for him. They depend on an income to feed their families. And I'm sure no one here works for free.

He also had the death threats - and the on going arrest warrant. Not that he's going back to that death pit, but it's still in effect.

Remember - Beth, Jug and TJ have the death threats. They haven't scared of Beth.

Just to add - TJ investigated this case for years. Not a few weeks and when you all ask what did they get from it - well, it was solved; Joran killed Natalee. Then Joran killed Stephany, and maybe killed others along the way. You can't tell me that he's not capable of killing when he freaks out and that can be at the drop of a hat. I'm not sure what else he could do. He has the audio tapes with that Jaguar - the FBI informant - and he did uncover alot of info. And some juicy stuff like Jansen and Paulus sleeping together.

What was TJ to do? drag him to Alabama? Aruba refused to prosecute the case. We all know that.

TJ did LVA the stepfather of Jaliek Rainwalker and he proved deceptive. Everyone knows that the stepfather killed him, but just like with Natalee - you need a body. So, I guess you could say he didn't do anything in that case either - but that's really not accurate.

TJ can't produce Natalee's body - but Tim sure had a chance. And he blew it. He and others watched the body go buh bye.

I'm not sure what TJ can do at this point but support Natalee - and I don't think he really said anything too outrageous. Something to the effect of being careful with the 503c Natalee fund. Maybe I missed the other stuff, but to be honest - who really cares what TJ says - he's not really involved in the case like Tim is and allegedly still searching. what good is continuing to search when he still hasn't publicly called out the Arubans that took off with the trap remains - and that's been said again and again.

Janet, I should add that it was around the same time.  Tim was trying multiple avenues at that time, some made the news shows and others didn't... Back then, he didn't talk of things that he thought might still have a chance of turning around.

...and another thing

You know this fiasco has cost Dave, Jug, and Beth a fortune. They didn't ask for this...

Joran did this... it was thrust upon them.

Does Tim think for one minute I give two toots... that Beth went on to do something positive with her life and manage to be compensated for it along the way?

Reality check - Beth doesn't have to extort anybody over their murdered family members.

The sister is using the sense that the good Lord gave her and getting on with things.

She is putting it to that murderer Sloot and making some sheckles to cover expenses.

God Bless her... and rock on, momma! There need to be more like her.

Jealousy is an ugly trait.

this is the most sensical thing anyone has said ..

I totally agree.

What's Anita's contribution to mankind?

What has she done to make anything right since this all happened...

TES is Tim's organization, and I can't give again. He needs to resign and to be perfectly honest - I just can't give to TES again.

I do hope he apologizes and makes nice with Beth - but too much has happened with TES over the last few years for me to give again. And I feel badly saying that - but it's the truth.

When a truck shows up with beer at a command center - well, that's enough.

>>>

A little known fact, but long, long ago Tim had lined up to bring a vehicle of this type (not this exact one, of course, but an underwater ROV). to Aruba.  That was way, way before the Persistence.  This was blocked due to getting the proper clearance, etc. from the Aruban government.

I remember that, so why did the Aruba government change their mind with the Persistence?

IMO, because 3 years had passed and no one was forgetting...

Or Silvetti and Schaeffer made Aruba an offer they couldn't refuse?

BINGO ! Cha-Ching !

Also, congratulations Grammy Klaasend

It looks like the Watts thread is already showing up within the top 25 results on google but if all would click on the link below a few times tonight, it should move it up to the top ten?

TIA ! http://scaredmonkeys.net/index.php?topic=8625.0
