Hellooooooooooooooo back at you.

My adventure today was to chainsaw a downed tree off the 6' chain link fence. It fell from the next property onto my fence so had to saw it from the bed of the pick up so as not to trespass. The top rail was bent to "H" and I had to remove that section for replacement. Sounds easy but was a pain to do. Tomorrow I'll go pick up the replacement rail but it is 15' long and I have a standard size truck...I imagine they'll know how to tie it down so I'll get it back here. Although it was awkward with the bent 15' section the hardest part was getting the metal thingies that hold the chain link to the top rail off..finally used a pair of bolt cutters and I won. Monkey Devil!

4 donks you amaze me - I know how much work that is and am amazed you could do it.  Perhaps you could pick up some handsome guy to help you out with the replacement?

BTW - My hubs noticed the posting from you on our web site and could not figure out who it was - when I told him he said "Hey that is that really cool lady you tell me about" - I had to say yea it is!

I'm in Central PA so not much warmer than you are! I've never watched Castle but have seen the commercials for it a lot. I'm waiting on Californication on Showtime. I just love David Duchovny is this one!

I could never get one started..I'd be pulling that rope till I was panting then a friend told me to use the weight of the chain saw and hold the pull start in one hand and while holding the handle in the other push it down away from me...easy peasy.

HA! I know what you mean with the internet saving from disaster. I'd be lost!

Have a good night everyone. My daughter will be here any minute for her food and her ride home. I always thought when they move out that they start to cook for themselves as well. Not this one!

Maybe I'll stop by tomorrow if there's time. Miss coming in here and chatting with everyone! Good night!

Gosh dog it!!!  I am way late to get here again.  Real life is just a pain sometimes, cutting into my visiting my cyber friends.  First I want to thank Brandi, 4 Donks, Green Eyes, Bearlyhere, Cookie, Tolerance, Trimonthelake, And joesamas mama for the warm welcomehere.  I have been so busy today, this is the first chance to sit a spell.  Today PawPaw and I went out for a nice breakfast.  First time in quiet a while.  Then we went to Lowe's to buy new lights for the front lawn and the back lawn.  Those big lights on the poles way up in the air.  Gee what a job that was to change them out.  But we got it done.  Can you believe front and back both went out within a week of each other?  It was pitch black out there at night without them.  Now I HAVE LIGHT again when I venture out at night.  Then when I picked up the grandkids from school this afternoon they informed me they had invited two little girls to spend the night.  Well the two turned into five as their other sister and the brother wanted to come too...lol... So tonight I have six kids sleeping over and on a school night too.  But we made popcorn and brownies.  Just got them all to bed.  This old girl is tired.  Anyway their mama is coming early tomorrow morning to help me get them all ready and off to school.  Now I am going to cruise around the boards and see what 's going on...later gator...

Slowsouthernrain,   Good Golly miss molly 6 kids for the night. You are one brave grandma. I remember when mine were little there were so much fun. Now they are teenagers not so much They can be fun but those teen age hormones can get pretty strong at times.    Hope you have a good evening with them.
