Suspected police officer Maduro appeals to his right to remain silent

ORANJESTAD – Police officer Edgar Maduro was interrogated as suspect on Thursday morning, in the case in which he reported an attempted manslaughter by lawyer Hendrik Croes.  It appears that Croes self has also reported against Maduro on April 24.

The Public Prosecutor (OM) is now suspecting him of false reporting and decided to hear the police officer again.  After Maduro was confronted on Thursday with the existing suspicion, he told the OM before the interrogation that he appeals to his right to remain silent.  Maduro didn’t want to listen to the findings of the National-detective and left with his lawyer after having left behind a written statement saying that he does not see any reason for adding to the statements he had already given.

Maduro indicated further that the questions during his interrogation on April 2 came directly from the office of Mister Croes.  The OM indicated in a reaction that this remark is entirely Maduro’s view.  The OM decides after the National-detective rounds off the report, how the case against both suspects, Croes and Maduro is going to be concluded.

FALSE REPORTING

When Maduro was heard on April 2, the OM became suspicious that he wasn’t entirely truthful in his reporting of March 16, 2008; also as a result of witness declarations, including two police officers, TV-images, and marks on Croes’ car and his statements.

The OM decided to investigate some more and the National-detective reconstructed the incident at the roundabout of Paradera on May 18.  Maduro is now formally suspected of violating article 194 of the Criminal Code, in other words, false reporting.  He was therefore summoned by the OM for interrogation early this week and his superiors were also informed.  According to the OM, the KPA has also informed the police union.

This dirtbag has a long history of corruption and dealings with the Mobs and Cartels after the murder of Betico Croes. Paul Van Der Sloot and his son are just a few of the untouchables in Aruba. They can do just about anything and get away with it. Raping and murdering teenage girls and running over people with there cars,are just a small part of the dirty dealings that the officials get away with in in Aruba.

Wasn't Edgar Maduro the one on duty when Joran did his thing and is a very good friend of JVs and probably his family?  It seems, if he is the older dude with the pencil mustache, that it was said he was a "mentor" type to Jvs.  Seems they all are at a constant power play down there.  They seem even to hate each other for the most part.  Jackb

PS:  I been looking at the shoe quite a bit and found it has been a bit warped to look narrower and the rubber is detaching from the front of the shoe.  There are definitely what appears to be blood spots in the cracks and crevices of the shoe.  Whether this is a animal or human, of course???? The lighting really does a good job bringing this out to dark, very dark blood color.  The shoe is larger and wider than it appears and when worked with you can see where the rubber is detached somewhat on the front.  There is a split (small) on the front, more of a rip where it has hit and object.  It really is facinating and the color of the sweat comes out as well as some faint numbers that could eventually be seen from what looks at first to be the "foam" under the sponge, but actually is where the back of the inside of the shoe is rolled down.  I have been busy too.
LOL  Jack.  PPS:  Don't let the SHOE Go.  They are getting crazy the more it is talked up.  I just hope the US has them.  Something is really crazy with that bunch if they cannot connect this if they have it in hand and cannot do any tracing it back to owner.  WHY?

ORANJESTAD, Aruba: Top sleuths from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Miami have been slithering through the grass on Aruba for the last 14 days but the role these highly-trained agents have been forced to play is that of “second fiddle" to the Aruban police, who have been struggling to crack the case of the missing 18-year-old Natalee Holloway, whose disappearance on May 30 has drawn the international media to this Dutch Caribbean island of just over 97,000 people.

Officials at Aruba's Foreign Affairs office told Caribbean Net News that the Miami-based FBI agents were invited to the island as observers only, and the Aruban police are the ones "calling the shots."
This has annoyed FBI brass in the US, prompting one senior FBI agent to wonder aloud: "Are they having an election down there or are they looking for a missing person? What's this ******* status stuff all about?"

According to Judy Orihuela, FBI spokesperson at the Miami office, the government of Aruba has only asked for minimal FBI help from the organisation.
FBI sources told Caribbean Net News that there is one agent from Barbados, along with six from Miami, who are on the ground in Aruba and will "help" when they are asked to.
Police in Aruba confirmed to Caribbean Net News that the FBI are here as observers and were part of a team that was allowed to watch from behind a glass when Aruban police interviewed five men held in connection with Holloway's disappearance.
Limited in technology, the Aruban police have also sought the help of the FBI in analysing a DNA sample that was removed from the rear seat of a vehicle belonging to one of the suspects. Caribbean Net News has learnt the DNA tests came back negative when tested for blood.
The slow pace of the investigation has angered many, forcing Holloway's mother to make public criticism of the slow pace.
The case has caused great embarrassment for the Aruba authorities. In one instance, the Deputy Commissioner told the media that there was a confession and that one of the accused was leading the police to the scene of Police. Minutes after, that line was changed and officials had no more to say about the “confession”, saying rather that they had reached a "critical" point in their in their investigations.

No one has made any further comment on what the Deputy Commissioner had said earlier.

However, Holloway's mother is of the view that the authorities could be seeking to protect the three young men who were last to see her daughter. The trio told police they had dropped off the 18-year-old at her hotel following a party session.
Police, when pressed, told Caribbean Net News that video tapes from surveillance cameras at the hotel show no evidence of this.

Meanwhile, FBI agents will stay in Aruba and continue to observe from behind the glass, until they called upon to run any further errands.

There was 1 phone call made that originally was thought to be significant because of the date only it was actually from the night before. The phone call was to a boy in Birmingham and she might have left a message for the boy, but it was not the night of the incident but the night before.

ANSWER: Here is what I know about a phone call: Apparently a friend of Natalee's received a call to his voice mail/answering machine. There was background noise and then someone said something like, "Are you calling home?" As far as I know the phones were then disconnected and nothing else was recorded. I do not know if that call was from Natalee or from her cell phone or one she may have used.

Incidentally, not all USA cell phone service works in Aruba. My AT&T cell phone works there, but my Verizon cell phone does not. And yes — I know — what kind of person has two cell phones? It is a bit nutty but I have two cell phones with different service. Why? For the very reason that some times I am in areas where service is limited. One other thing about the phone call — it is not clear when it was received by the person receiving the message.

I would call this pond 1..which is the smaller area in the satellite photos.  Notice the lights, probably from the soccer field, in the background.  (I am guessing they are the lights from National field.)

This should be a photo of the larger area that I will call Pond 2 in the satellite photos.  There are drainage pipes at the very end that I can't see that either drains the soccer area or the smaller pond.  I am not sure which...these pipes are accessible from the road behind the chinese restaurant.

A strange thought just crossed my mind, which can sometimes be dangerous.  ::MonkeyWink::  We are hearing that a shoe has been found near the lighthouse.  Why, after three years, are they suddenly talking about finding a shoe?  That entire lighthouse area has been searched.  On the crappy island, up means down and sea means land.  Could it be possbile that a shoe was found in the pond and as usual everyone is being diverted to another location?

The shoe/shoes we saw in the photo have not been in water (let alone exposed) for 3 years. It obviously was "kept" by someone and planted very recently.

Those pipes are a fair distance from the area that was dug out...the pond area, that I refer to as pond 1, is the very beginning of the pond area.  The pipes drain at the far end of the larger part that I call pond 2.  The satellite photo would make this clearer...maybe.  I don't have that and probably couldn't post it anyway. LOL  If it isn't in photobucket I can't do it.

I have read about dams and tankis (shallow pond areas dug out for water storage for agriculture).  I guess Aruba has about 250.  My question is, was this area purposely drained or does it look like this every May?  Does anyone know how deep it was in 2005 or if it had water in it?

I can't speak about this specific pond, but about the ponds in general......the drainage is so bad there(Aruba) that whenever it rains , even if it is a hard rain for minutes a day, the roads flood, the parking lots flood, and the ponds seem to be for run off, and to help with this flooding. I have been in Aruba in the months of march, april, july, august, december and have found most of the ponds to have water.

Good question and I have no idea.

Are there pictures of Joran wearing sneakers prior to meeting Natalee?  I can't imagine him wearing sneakers that were that scuffed up.

The laces look like they were in bay water.

Yes, infact there is pic of Joran a couple of weeks prior to meeting Natalee. He is at C+C's dancing on the stage wearing rather muddy sneakers. I just tried to upload the pic to my webshots but there is something wrong.

That may very well be a pic of Joran in the murder shoes.  It is most likely a paste in pic as the girl in front of him would be as tall as he is if she stood up straight.   Also Freddy's or Guido's arm is coming out of his back where he is holding up a camera or cell phone to get a pic of something going on in front of him.  Look at his shoulder blade.    Jackb

When I hear and see stuff like this picture, I wonder if the "we had Chinese food" was an excuse in case someone reported seeing them near the Chinese restaurant looking around for the shoes.  They may not have known where the pipes emptied (at that time).  Who knows what else may have been throw into the sewer or canal?

Wasn't there something in Shango about throwing stuff (evidence) into plain view or the trash?

New Developments Surface In Natalee Holloway Case

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Over the weekend, new information surfaced in the Natalee Holloway case: a new witness is being held in Aruba.

The witness has been in jail since April, and he said he saw Joran Van Der Sloot, one of the original suspects, the night Holloway disappeared. He also said he saw what he thinks was Holloway and Van Der Sloot on the beach the night in question.

Beth Twitty, Holloway’s mother, said she’s not sure what to make of the latest information, but she is hopeful something will come from this latest turn of events.

“I don’t know if she’s even recoverable at this point or not, but what we do keep thinking is that we’ll at least find out what happened that night. There has to have been somebody that has some information, that knows what transpired that night,” said Twitty.

Ten people have been arrested and questioned in Holloway’s disappearance.

Not sure but I think that was Carlos the comdom witness that according to reports later admitted he lied about it.

Maybe shoes at the lighthouse is a clever ruse to change the discussion from "What did they find at the pond that was drained?".  What were they digging and what have they done with it?

If he was, which the pic is most likely pasted in, no they would not likely, as the lighting in there is very dark in the original picture.  Also, as I said look at the height of the girl in front of JVs, she would be as tall as he is she stood up straight.  Also, this picture is not the original very darkened (at the feet, anyway) club pic.  The computer lighting brought out the blood stains.  Why he still has on these shoes is a question as to where he was in them before showing ( or his pic showing up at this club ) some are trying to say before NH went missing, but in fact the pic is trying to make him look like he had stains on his shoes before NH went missing in a pic that was taken possibly before, during or after NH started to go missing.  The pic is to screw up the condition of shoes in case they were seen somewhere on camer, most likely.  Someone is having a good old time with the pics and cameras.  They are really into this big time to disprove any information that may exist that would tie Joran or his clothing to the crime scene.  Also Joran likes to brag at how stupid we are, it seems and make a mockery of her family by showing what he did and is getting away with it, but protected by the confusion of the pix and timelines they have been trying to confuse. Joran, did he lie as a witness?  As a suspect?  How many PVs did he sign?  How many times did he embellish on the previous version of events?

Somehow, IIRC (or remember my opinions) Joran was treated as some kind of Aruban here for several years.

Whether it is a joke or not, it is some type blood on that shoe.  The shoe is not in the cleaned up condition it appears in, exactly.  I have not more information than you on the pic, just what I have put it through.  It could be a cruel joke, not likely, not at all from this side (meaning US.)  Anyone who would do this would likely be involved with the crime or the coverup.  The shoe, as I said earlier has the appearance definitely of blood soaked into leather.  The rubber is pulling away from the front.  The shoes may have been washed and/or exposed to water, but due to the different lighting on the computer, it is clearly the appearance of blood, not mud.  The shoes at different perspectives looks narrower or larger, depending upong how much light bending is applied.  I call it light bending, but it is perspective and what is called deforming.  It is not hard at all to do if you have the proper softward and know how to use it.  The shoe was talked about a couple of months ago, it seems, but this week is the first time it has been posted to my knowledge.   Jackb

Back to the pond...I think this would be behind the restaurant also...don't hold me to that...I don't have confirmation that is true. There is also a supermarket along this pond.  Not sure how close it is, but it is on the same road.

It has long been done and sent to this admin and the BFN when the pic was first posted.  The shoes tie in on the dance floor from what I see.  Also since the first pic, (blurred as per usual) the shoes on the dance floor have been even more blurred by people trying to enlarge them, and posting them without the proper resizing of them.
That is a chapter in itself.  Anyway.  If the authorities saw JVS and their children do these deeds, they would avoid prosecution of them, but what is the US doing to get results and protect their citizens?  They just allow these same perps to visit the US and or choose schools here where they may pull the same thing on another US citizen.  I am patiently waiting for something to happen from our side, as obviously the authorities in Aruba and NL are failing to act.

This isn't the kind of photo I see on the tourist literature.  It looks like something one would see in a ghetto, old manufacturing area, or third world country.  I wonder if this is a current photo?  Or one from 2005? 

I remember reading that Aruba had identified more than 1,000 areas that needed to be cleaned up.  I think that was in the paper a year or so ago.  I wonder what ever became of that effort?

I also remember the beach clean-ups (I've seen in the news and photos).  I wonder if they have a volunteer program for other areas too?  Like the civic groups here that take on responsibility for cleaning up a few miles of highway or interstate.   Sometimes, it's work crews for those serving weekends for minor offenses.

Once one gets away from the tourits area Aruba is just another dirty little island....trash thrown all over, the yards look like mini dumps, skinny dogs foraging through the trash looking for something to eat....we went to a grocery store and bought 2 large bags of dogs food after seeing one Momma dog with about 6 little puppies....she was soooooo thin and was digging in the garbage....broke out hearts ...we took the food back to where we saw her and put a whole lot out on the ground.....and did the same in some other areas...it was really disgusting ......this was about 7 years ago...the one and only time we were there

Yeah...one of the reasons I wouldn't want to visit the island....but would go if I had a chance just to see what I might find.....

a bit of strange article.
it doesn't really explain what the 'new judicial organisation' entails.

aruba has its own OM and court. the higher court is shared with the Antilles.
and the supreme court is in The Hague.

but what this organisation is? it doesn't really say.
Croes always opposed to have the OM shared with the Antilles, just like the higher court.
Croes even wanted his own higher court on Aruba.

i bet if Hirsch Ballin hears what Croes is talking about he is going to say something different.
and then Croes has to backtrack or something.

it most likely has something to do with the dissolution of the Antilles in two countries and three special municipalities next  year.

also note that Croes has a 'Aruban citizen' in mind for the procureur general job.

the earlier proposed PG would have the job only for six months because in december he would became 65 - the age limit for PG on Aruba.

COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY
APPELLEE
A Hopkins Circuit Court jury convicted Appellant, James Fairrow, Jr., of two
counts of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree, KRS 218A.1412, and
found him to be a persistent felony offender in the first degree, KRS 532.080(3). He
received enhanced sentences of thirty-five years in prison for each trafficking conviction,
which were ordered to run concurrently. Appellant appeals to this Court as a matter of
right, Ky. Const . § 110(2)(b), asserting five claims of reversible error: (1) the admission
of improper character evidence ; (2) the use of a prejudicial nickname during trial ; (3) the
failure to excuse a juror for cause ; (4) the failure to suppress an in-court identification of
Appellant as a result of an unduly suggestive show-up ; and (5) the failure to grant
Appellant directed verdicts of acquittal on both counts of trafficking in a controlled
substance . For the reasons stated herein, we affirm.

OVERVIEW: Sufficient evidence supported defendant's conviction for cocaine trafficking under Ky. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 218A.1412 where informant testified that defendant was the man who sold her cocaine, the sales were recorded on audiotape and videotape, and money used by informant in the sale was found in store at which defendant purchased a money order.

On May 30 it was exactly three years ago that no trace of Natalee Holloway disappeared in Aruba. The disappearance of the American has since been an unprecedented media attention.



According to the Curaçaose filmmaker Renee Gielen leads the whole criminal in the Holloway case meets Tunnel. Despite all efforts by the Public Ministry, for instance, crime reporter Peter R. de Vries, there are still no perpetrators convicted. Joran van der Sloot is true, although as main accused number one, but he is still at liberty.

Gielen has made a documentary in which the 'other' side is exposed, that of the Holloway family itself. A side that may also affects the political relationship between the United States and the Netherlands. Monday, June 2, the documentary ready.

"So far everything has been focused on Joran and the Kalpoe brothers, who would have Natalee slightly affected. The family (of Natalee, red) or something else on the American side, we have never seen," says the documentairemaakster.

The investigation by Justice has been unilaterally and that's not the hook, find Gielen: "There are always two sides to an issue. If one side is not studied, you never get a good picture of the total of what happened could be . " Before the missing may also much happened, she says.

"Natalee did not want to go home", is the conviction of Gielen. They do not know why they do not want to go home. Mother Beth Twitty has never responded to its requests for her to speak about the case. The documentary must show that they already knew that Natalee would not go home for them was missing. The mother came much earlier than they ever Aruba has claimed. They brought posters along with a call to Natalee to contact us.

Gielen hopes that her documentary, in which strange circumstances in a row to be put, the door opens to a proper investigation. "There appears to be a link between all those elements and that makes it clear that something with Natalee on the hand. I hope that this will lead to new questions."

Hoofdverdachte Joran van der Sloot is not for her film and which is therefore not intended to him again 'bullying'. Gielen also believes that he is not there something to do with it, except that he has been very stupid to lie about the case.

One of the sources of the journalist is Prosecutor Gerald Dompig, who initially led the investigation, but later opstapte. He says, inter alia, that he is opposed by the FBI and that the political relationship between the Netherlands and the U.S. became involved. "It touches almost the White House," he says in the documentary. The stepfather of Natalee has said that he has contacts with the White House.

Gielen thinks that the enormous attention in the U.S. intended to lead to the attention of the things that were not outwards. For Dompig they cross the hand in the fire. The current research team wanted to Aruba in January "due to crowds" does not speak with her.

Gielen Netherlands is in talks with potential interested broadcasters. It is also intended to film in the United States on television. How and when Natalee, the unrevealed Time Lines on the Antilles and Aruba will be seen, it is still unknown. ::MonkeyHaHa::

Appellant's convictions arose out of two sales of cocaine to Ms. Gay Royal, a
confidential informant (C.I .) for the Madisonville Police Department. Royal told the
police that she wanted to "get straight" and needed some money to leave town, and she
offered to participate in a controlled drug buy. The police agreed.
On the morning of July 13, 2003, Detectives Lantrip and Bean of the Madisonville
Police Department arrived at the home of Royal's mother, where the drug buy would
occur. They performed a cursory search of Royal (asking her to empty her pockets and
take off her shoes) to ensure she did not have drugs on her person that could be used
to falsely incriminate someone, but did not search the house . Around 10 :40 a.m ., Royal
telephoned a man whom she referred to as "J-Man," and whom both she and the police
believed to be Appellant. Royal arranged a drug deal as the police recorded the
conversation on audiotape . The detectives equipped Royal with an audiotape to
secretly record the transaction . They also furnished her with thirty dollars in cash and
recorded the serial numbers of the bills.
A short time later, a black Ford Crown Victoria drove up to the house with a male
sitting in the front passenger seat. As the police videotaped the encounter, Royal
approached the car on the passenger side, momentarily reached inside, then returned
to the house . She gave cocaine to the police which she claimed she purchased from
Appellant with the money. She was not searched after the completion of the
transaction.
Soon thereafter, as recorded by a surveillance camera in the Grapevine Pantry, a
convenience store near Royal's mother's residence, Appellant arrived at the store in a
black Ford Crown Victoria and purchased a money order with cash. Appellant
stipulated at trial that the signature on the money order was his. A bill was later found in
the Grapevine Pantry's safe with a serial number that matched one on the bills provided
to Royal for use in the earlier drug buy.
Around 1 :00 p .m . the same day, Detectives Lantrip and Bean set up a second
controlled drug buy using Royal as the C.I . They followed the same general procedures
employed earlier, but this time failed to search Royal or the house before or after the
transaction . They observed the same black Ford Crown Victoria come to the house.
Royal again left the house with money given to her by the detectives and returned with
cocaine . The drug transaction was recorded on videotape and audiotape . Around 9:00
p.m., Brittany Brown, a clerk at the Grapevine Pantry, identified Appellant from a
photograph shown to her by police as the man to whom she had sold a money order
earlier that day. At trial, Detective Lantrip identified the man in the Grapevine Pantry's
surveillance video as Appellant and his car as the vehicle used in both drug
transactions .

This photo shows the pipe and where it splits in two. If you look in the back you can see a white looking pipe or divider that runs along the back there.  As I understand it, they go very deep and far away down under the area.  I am not sure exactly where they drain.

Just wait until they see the expose and/or movies coming out that  reveals the cover up of Natalee Holloway's death in Aruba.  This movie will expose adults who re-victimize an innocent girl and her grieving family.  It will reveal how Aruban officials allow perpetrtors to make fools out of the people of Aruba and Netherlands and while  knowing the truth of the Holloway death, side with the perpetrators  disallow justice for the victim and her family. Well, maybe she will learn her way around before she has to go to prison.  However, I am wondering if they jail the good and leave the bad.  There may be many good people in their prisons.  Maybe they should be investigated, as from what seems to be a pattern there, they raise the bad and the good are probably punished more severely than the bad.  Something is way out of line.    Jackb

... The detective says he just wants me to sign a new statement.  Jug immediate asks him, "What's the difference between this one and the one she gave you this morning?'  Jacobs says that some dates were wrong on that one and have been corrected, and he needs my signature on the new corrected one.

The document is in Dutch, which is Greek to me.  I have no idea what it says.  I can't tell if it's different from the one the young officer read to me this morning, which I signed, or not.  But all I have to rely on is the Aruban police process, so I gladly submit to his request and sign every single page.

After waiting months to find out what my statement actually says.  Jug calls on my first day in California.  He has finally been able to obtain the translation of my statement from the prosecutor Karin Janssen.  The one the detective brought to me to sign late that night in the restaurant.

... And I trusted him and signed ever page.

"Listen to this, Beth ..."  The words he sends echo in my head.  I begin to sink, and could slide to the ground out of my chair.

"Jug, they changed it.  They changed my statement."  I had carefully gien intricate details about the encounter in the van der Sloot front yard the first night we got to the island, including names and physical descriptions.

Also, I noticed that Eric Soemers' name was on it, but that detective was not even present during the interview. Now I wondered if Jacobs was making up everyone's statement and getting Eric to sign on to them. If that were the case, he could state anything he wanted, and it would look like an official statement made in front of a witness.

A few things come to mind ~

How reliable is the air traffic control system in Aruba?  Is there regular on-time service?

How do they keep track of airplanes?

Do they keep records of arrivals and departures?

What does the official record say?

One last point: I am sure that all parents and many young people remember the tragic mess in Aruba several years ago when a young woman on her senior trip went "missing" and still remains so -- probably dead -- today.

If it were my child I would certainly be devastated as are the parents of that poor girl. This is an example of what occurs when young people - full of spirit but who don't want to play by "grown-up" rules go out of this country It is sad, but something to consider. I am happy if the people who manage these trips DO care enough to cull the wheat from the chaffe and take only those kids who are wise enough at that point in their life to come and go safely.

Could someone give me an update on the pond search and anything else we have learned in the past 3 months or so? I havent been able to come up with anything case related for a long time. Appreciate it.

The problem has nothing to do with how "wise" a young adult happens to be.  Places that advertise "happiness" and cater to a party crowd should be prepared to provide the safety nets needed.  This is blaming the victim.  The goal of this trip was to reward hard work.  The island knew very well the set up at Carlos and Charlies and the locals at the hotels.  The island authorities chose to look the other way.  Trouble was bound to happen and trouble had nothing to do with the "wiseness" of the victim.   If one knows and promotes the party atmosphere then one is responsible for the outcomes.  Just like frat houses being shut down or taxis being offered for free in the "drinking" promoted areas in the US.  You can't tell me the authorities, on Aruba, did not see this coming.  They just didn't budget for it. Natalee was not flawed.  It could have been any young US tourist.

I was wondering how this impacted their cruise ship business.  IIRC, they were focusing on cruise departures.

Well then,we have pictures of a drained pond with a area where the top layer of dirt was removed but yet nothing in any of the papers and denial from the OM that it was ever searched. We all saw what OE and Caps told us! Something really stinks here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The tiny pond is about 0.15-0.2 west of the intersection of Rt. 3 and Rt. 2.  It's on the north side of Rt. 3 next to the soccer field.

I'll try to clarify a few points. Nice pics by the way.
 
- The pond was searched because of a promising lead we received.
 
- We were able to conduct the scanning sonar (not to be confused with side scan sonar) search of the pond because of some weather related down time during the ocean search.
 
- My analysis of the sonar was used to

1) show that the pond needed to be drained in opposed to be investigated with divers.  The only way to effectively search the pond would be if it were dry.

2) show that there were objects in the pond aside from tires.  I'm not commenting on what these objects could be because I'm not speculating.  I will say that I at least saw tires (I saw a pic of one somewhere) in the scanning sonar.

- The reason the pond search was so delayed was on account of the labor strike.  The pond needed to be completely drained which needed the help of the Polis and fire department.  Needless to say labor was needed and hard to come by.  When the strike ended the pond search happened almost immediately.

- No one said the 40-52 (whatever) investigators from Holland ever stepped foot in or near the pond.  The timing is coincident.  Did anyone see these investigators anywhere near the pond?  I don't think so.   

I hope that cleared up more questions that it raises.

News,

The area in question now is off limited to anyone. A steel chain from across road with a sign saying area prohibited.

The area have dried a lot but still a deep end with water in it. I went to see it yesterday and I could not have access anymore.

Another thing, today a group of CSI (52 in total ) arrived from holland are in Aruba to work on the case. (secret mission)

In news paper this week Nancy Grace in Aruba to do a film on the case.

But the light of the soccer field was on this whole weekend till 3:30 am in the morning, Today day are off. but it seems that this goup is here a week already they are the one that seal the area. Also Saterday night goining in sunday early morninng, sources said that they saw a lot new face in the are of Lekker.

Today withness talk to lawyer to see what is the hold-up, lawyer state every thing is OK and group are working on the case. Large dutch CSI. (case is under the microscope---but no american involvment is a bit strange.)

After deliberating with withness on this, we conclude 3 things that might come out of this.

The case will break wide open and all players will be found or they came in secret now that the water has gone to do a forensic and find Natalee remains or cleanup what they could not cleanup in 3 years and say "se la vi" to the case

MOS seems to go for option-1 but like I said, he still have to fight a Dirtyhand in his Office / organization.

Latest is that OM is now in hot water since they also have somehow exceed the 2001 till 2005 budged (OVER SPEND), also no one was watching the money that they were collecting from big fines and other confiscated moneys. The is a problem (hot scandal comming out soon from this office.)

This morning, the area from McDonald till lekker is being analyzed by those from Holand CSI. Also to the house of the witness is being analyzed.  They are also near the Brickel bay.

Ya know, I do believe Gielen's production (and I use that work loosely) is the book promised by Anita.  Anita is stupid enough to believe people would be lining up at their doorstep to buy into this garbage. ::MonkeyConfused:: ::MonkeyShocked::

Essentially, as you see it, nothing has happened to indicate that there was anything in that pond.  It was only drained...whether that bucket and the missing mud was related is anyone's guess at this point. I have however learned several things in the past three months...none of which I can share at this time...sorry.

Let's just hope she doesn't illustrate it....after seeing her "art", I couldn't imagine the "book".

I always thought Anita looked like a kind person in the first photo I saw of her.  It was the one at the ISA school for 2005.

I wonder how the stress of the past three years has affected her.  Was there ever a picture/timeline review of her works? 

She is one of those people, that I wonder about.  Knowing what she knows today, would she do anything differently?

Would she have coddled Joran less?

Hi Monkeys, it's me….the silent one. I am here every single day, I just don't post often. I have written another poem for Beth and Dave, Matt and their families as the third year of Natalee missing comes to a close, and wanted to share it.


In His Time

Even while I grieve, I know You are in charge...

I know we are taught that we must wait on You

It's been three long years, now beginning four. Who would have thought, huh? Well, count me in for the duration. Because I believe that Justice IS coming, Evil will not win over Good, and I want to be around to watch the bad guys go down!

He has promised that He will deliver Justice for those who believe, and Beth and Dave and their families DO believe. And we know that Natalee believed in Him too. He won't let them down, He will reward them for their faithfulness through this terrible time. He is wiser then we are, and I am sure He has a plan that we can't possibly see. Perhaps a plan that will bring Justice down on ALL who deserve it, not just a few. 

There ARE still good people in this world, people who do care, and who want to see Justice done. So let's just join hands and as ONE build our strength and determination to hang on until Justice DOES come...and it will. In my heart I believe this.

There was a very wealthy man in our little town.  He had a lovely wife
and four teenage children.  He had an affair with a girl in her 20's.
The affair continued and everybody knew about it.  The girlfriend even
had a baby.  It seemed as though there were no consequences for him.
The wife finally filed for divorce.  He faught and didn't want her to get
anything like what she deserved.  The divorce papers were on his desk
and he decided to go to his yatch for the weekend and go over the
divorce papers when he returned.  He went jogging on the beach in just
his swim trunks, had a massive anuerism and died right there on the beach.
He had no identification on him and he stayed in the morgue in Destin for
four days as a "John Doe".  He had not signed the divorce papers and the wife
got everything.
Everything in the Lord's time.

Janet - I could be mistaken but the only place I've seen anything about the OM claiming the pond was not searched was from a poster at BFN who said they sent and received an email from the OM office stating that.

I have heard from two others and I can't reveal the source. It wasn't that the OM claimed it was never searched they claimed they didn't know anything about it. Which amounts to the same thing,since this was after we saw the pictures  ::MonkeyNoNo::

How could there be a claim that the pond hasn't been searched?  Don't we have a photograph of TES, in a small boat, scanning the pond?  According to OE, the pond was drained in order to further explore objects that had been identified during this scan.  Now, we are hearing that there hasn't been a search?  What about the investigators that CAPS and OE have described as being in the pond area?  At least we have some great pictures proving that the pond has actually been drained.

I'm starting to feel frustrated by the lack of activity with this case.  So much has happened since the first of the year, but nothing has changed.  We've had TES in the ocean for several months, potential ocean sites were identified but not checked because they need a special ROV, something was found in a cage, Joran's admission was on video for the world to see, Duary was arrested in NJ, and the pond has been drained.  Why hasn't TES returned to check the ocean sites?  What's with the pond?  Why are we hearing little inferences that something has happened but we can't know about it?  And through this all, Joran and his accomplices walk free making an even bigger mockery of justice.  ::MonkeyNoNo::

SS...a little while back...I was told by a friend in Aruba that they had copies of the *scan* photos from when OE and his buddy did a run on the pond...we know that happened because OE told us so...and, an Aruban paper published the photo of the 2 men from the Persistance, in the little boat.  I will try my hardest to get them to send me a copy, of whay they say they have...namely copies of radar scan photos....that's the best I can do...and I DO believe the pond was slow drained and searched...
