Hey Fanny.I thought you were already gone.   

Getting ready to leave now in a few minutes. Got to go get a renewal sticker for my car tag. I usually do it by mail, but it slipped up on me this year, and it expired yesterday on my birthday. Then a little shopping.

Chili is in the crock pot. I'll make the cornbread & rice when I get back, as well as shredding cheese and chopping green onions to go on top of chili. Fresh sour cream in the fridge, and a fresh pitcher of sweet tea. Key lime pie for desert, chilling as we speak. 

YAY!!!! I am freezing and chili sounds wonderful.

I must have erased the racoon attack on the golf course video.  It was on the 5th hole on the Banana River, a place where a few ferrel cats hang out and some golfers leave cans of cat food for them.  Anyway, there's this racoon hanging out while I'm teeing off (that's teeing not peeing Fanny).  I see the racoon sitting in my golf cart drinking my Gatorade and I scare him off and grap my camera.  He starts to come back to the golf cart and starts hissing so I grabbed a golf club and start yelling at the coon and shaking the club at him.  I wish I still had that video.

Side note:  If anyone gets a credit card application from Airtran, sign up for it.  Once you make a purchase on the CC you get 16 A+ award points, enough to earn you a free round trip flight.

Oh I am bummed, but that is a funny story CC. Racoon drinking your gatorade. I wished you had the video. Thanks for the heads up on the Airtran application. That's some good information.

President Barack Obama called hip-hop musician Kanye West a "jackass" on Monday in an off-the-record comment during an interview with CNBC, an ABC News anchor reported on Twitter.

Obama was apparently weighing in on an interruption that occurred the night before during the MTV Video Music Awards where West grabbed the microphone from teen country singer Taylor Swift during her award acceptance speech to announce his belief that Beyonce had a better music video.

  Well I would say something like takes one to know one, but this time the President is right. 

I have not seen or read one entertainer or anyother person stand up for West. I read a lot of celebrity blogs    and believe me the things that are being said about West is bad. And he deserves every bad word that is being said about him.

I wish I could help you do all that, but then you have to come here and help me get ready for my dad's visit 

Uh....no, thanks anyway. I have enough crazy in my life! You have my sympathies, in advance. But if I did stop over to help, I'd use some "head psychology" on any members of the family who refuse to play along and make Grampa's visit pleasant. "Head psychology" is what my dad used to call it when he'd thwack us upside the head!

Everything I have read about him has been bad this time, but the celebrities had no problem agreeing with him when he said bad things about Bush during the Katrina fundraiser. I had never heard of Kanye until then, probably haven't ever heard a song he has sung either.

No Rose take a deep breath - I just had Hubby's family visit for a week and half in August and I stressed for weeks getting the house all clean and nice only to have to do it all over again after they left - I have discovered it isn't worth all the work and worry before they arrive they will be fine save it for the clean up after. I understand how you are feeling.

Thanks    I have a go duster it runs on batteries and I'm running all around with it, I hate to even think where the dust I'm go dusting is really going    I'm one of those people, that has to have everything in order, it drives me nuts, even one of the therapists I have went to  put a big mess in front of me to see how I would react and to see how long it would take me to clean.  It didn't take long. Oh well going to walk the dog
