DOLCE,

They make regular dog color, I kid you not.  Probably at Petsmart and places like this.  Lots of people make their white poodles pink, etc.  Not sure how long it lasts, however.  Might be sort of semi permanent.

Oh goodness...need to cover the screen so he does not read that!  LOL  Poor puppies!!  I think that my 3 would be pretty pissed if they were turned other colors...especially my male - he is picky!  LOL

Unfortunately it does not stop my 21 y/o brother and his friends either.  His friends will moon pimply bums flashin all around and all.....its so gross!!  I walk away feeling violated...VISION VIOLATION!!

I didn't realize until recently that these little babies are fondant or frosting of some sort.  Nonesuche could tell by looking.

Now I want MONKEN to make some of these!  I bet she could if she really tried, too.

My hubs wants to food color the jacks for Easter....I am thinking this is not a good idea.  He assures me they will go back to white once they jump in the pool and that food coloring is organic and safe.....

Dolce - Tell your hubs you want to dress them up like this and that he will need to walk them at least 5 times so the neighbors can enjoy them too!!

Anna I bet those are made of marzipan for you can get greater detail with it than you can fondant. But they surely are incredible, takes some mega talent to do those beautiful lifelike babies! Monken's cakes are very unique and she's very talented, she has such an eye for color.

Daughter had a large order for these this week, I was doing royal accents at 5am this morning.........with lots of coffee to pry my eyes open !
