I had to catch up and watch the videos of a lot of the trial yesterday. After what I saw, I think I've lost my appetite!!  ::MonkeyShocked::

I am SO pizzed!  It's not enough for Casey to expect her parents to support her and her daughter. It's not enough for anyone to expect her to actually hold down a job. It's not enough for her to expect nobody to dare hold her accountable for stealing from family and friends....... she's just entitled to those things. Now that she's really in trouble for murdering her daughter, she turns back to her entitlements by expecting George to pull her out. I say a big fat BULLCHIT!

The Ants are dysfunctional, no doubt. Cindy is as bad as Casey and I do think maybe Casey got a lot of her personality problems from her, but this story she has woven is all a bunch of BULL! (absolutely no offense to O4bull, btw)!

I do so hope that the State can overcome this, and I do so regret that farmville lady is on the jury. I'm not confident what she's going to believe!

Good morning Monkeys!  My dumb azz decided to go out last night to see a musician play at a local club and I am HURTING today at work. Why did I think that I could still party like I did when I was 21?  Was feeling really sorry for myself until I realized that my hangover will go away and ICA will be stuck in prison forevers.  Made me feel about 50% better immediately! Justice for Caylee!

LOL hope you had fun last night! Been there, done that! I have been lucky this week and have been on vacation..I go back to work tomorrow @ 4am..ughhh..Last night I had to pick up an exchange student from Japan that is spending the summer with us. I felt bad telling him to sleep in today because of the jet lag (and so I can watch the trial), but today I feel bad and plan on taking him to the beach on his first day here..Casey is just not worth it...we all have lives to live (do you think my laptop will work at the beach so I wont miss anything..lol) . Hope you feel better, hang in there!

Sorry I made two O/T comments in the Trial thread. In one, there was a train whistle, and Judge Perry told people to let the train pass before they spoke, so I didn't think it was too O/T.

The second, a monkey was worried no one was seeing her posts, I posted to let her know we saw them.

Well, I had all brothers and in total 17 boys in my neighborhood with no girls. My brothers hit me because "back in the day" we got in fights over ballgames, croquet games, you name it we fought over it. We fought over "little cowboys" and BB guns. Kids today evidently don't do that, but for an older brother to hit a younger sister is not strange at all to me since it was common around us. You learn young to pick up an "equalizer" because running to mother would only cause you to get ostracized from all the activities. I used to threaten my older brother saying " You have to sleep sometime and my ball bat will be ready." LOL

When Mckenzie Phillips told her story, I saw her in a whole new light. It did explain her drug abuse and self destructive behavior. I found her totally believeable and was glad that she has begun to heal. I am not any sort of abuse survivor but have come across all types of abuse as an RN.  Love to you Newfie!  ::MonkeyKiss::

Brandi, thank you so much for all the avatars, that gave me enough courage to post.  You are so adored by me and my husband and Casper.  There is rarely a time that I am reading that he isn't in my lap.

Like I have said before, I have anxiety issues and it seems to carry over to posting here.

You have all made me feel welcome and happy, my post number does not reflect my devotion to justice for Caylee.  You will always see me up in the rafters, I don't think I have missed a word in Caylee's threads.  I don't always understand them but I read them all.  You are so smart and clever with your detective work and computer abilities.  Like many of you I have been consumed with this case and justice for baby Caylee.

I have been posting more lately, the closer we come to justice, the braver I feel.  Please ignore my typo's and anything that doesn't make sense.  I use to read and re-read every post I made so many times, it left me unable to post.  I used 2 spell-checks and even had my husband proof-read every post I made.  I am now just checking once for spelling, if it doesn't catch it, oh well, I just preview if I have a link and hit POST.

Cappy, I first met you on the Comcast.net forum in July of 2008, your posts were amazing to me then and they are to this day.  It is so sad we had to meet this way but I am glad we started this together and are going to see it through to the end together.

::MonkeyHaHa::I've been doing laundry during recess, sidebars and I ran to get my cat's meds on lunch hour.  Now I've decided to go on a Casey Diet....I put on 10 lbs when all this broke in 2008 and now it's time to get it off...will be dieting and exercising while watching the trial...I hope in 6-8 weeks I will be a skinner verge of myself! (I've got 50lbs to lose)

Somebody help me please!!!  On Trial Videos for 5/26 I have looked repeatedly thru all 13 segments for the proffered testimony of Tony Lazzaro which was given outside the presence of the jury.  I thought it was the last thing prior to adjournment but I cannot find it.  Could somebody with more patience than I have please give me the segment number and the approxiimate time frame so I can listen to this?  I have been in and out so much and catching up when I can, but I do want to see this part and watch KC's reactions which had everybody commenting yesterday.  I will look for a reply in the Break Room and thank you ever so much!

Been going over some things- I wonder why George's gambling issues and moving out weren't used by the defense, like someone had it in for George for gambling debt....
Because of work and end of year activities, I haven't been watching every minute so I don't know if this is the case but just a theory.  If the State has not introduced that information, Baez can't bring it up until he calls George as his witness.  I think the term is "scope of testimony."

::MonkeyNoNo:: poor pathetic Casey, she is having a meltdown when her mom told the truth and refused to look at her, she feels betrayed....BUT I have negative sympathy when I consider how Caylee must have felt so confused and betrayed when she was probably scared and confused asking for her mimi and watching her mother (one that should protect and comfort her) hold her arms down in a rage, and place duct tape over her mouth and nose. THAT is the ultimate betrayal of a parent, even a chitty selfish parent IMO, I can't even go there and try to imagine the horror, sadness and sense of betrayal and helplessness she would have felt knowing mimi and jojo weren't there to help her as her own mother decided to give her parents the ultimate Fruk U by killing their beloved grandchild  out of spite and rage, thus maintaining her control she held over them which only increased after Caylee was born (Caylee was the ultimate bargaining chip to hurt and manipulate her parents ). Also, I have to say I have never been a fan of G and C, but I also know after being married to a sociopath that it is not always the way they were raised, my ex's brother and sister were nothing like he was and both his parents went to their grave realizing that all the time they had been in denial about their son and trying desperately to rationalize his behavoir after coming to grips with the truth was in vain. Sadly his father who I loved was buried today and both passed knowing he had burned every bridge he had even within his family, neither of his siblings have disclosed to him (my ex) where they live, and neither will  my boys I raised from my marriage to him . He may have never have gone away for abusing my son, but when his older boys disowned him along with the judge severing all parental rights to my son, well it threw him into a hell on earth, but a hell he created all on his own and one he deserved and one day he will realize that this hell is nothing compared to where he will spend eternity. So Casey, you reap what you sow and karma is a bitch......

I have been hard on G and C, but I do believe the denial is over and they have cut their losses just like my step-children and my ex' in laws did ::HelloKitty::

Thanks loca, I am ok since I know he is at peace but my boys I raised from that marriage to Satan are the ones I worry about, they have been so angry at their sperm donor for his actions all around, but now they are really pizzed their grandad died and blame their own sperm donor for adding stress to his final yrs. They are right, but nevertheles I wish they had peace in their hearts too instead of anger even when justified. My youngest of the two who is in the Army will be here in a month for 10 days so I hope we can talk it thru and he can take on my lil man's attitiude about not dwelling on things that can't be changed, heaven knows they too have lived an undeserved hell on earth. So sad the ripple effects sociopaths have on others.

I was married to a man like that.. it was a nightmare.. luckily we had no children togehter.. his parents were awesome! I loved them they loved me!! I now live in a different state..  he remains doing the same things.. no growth in his life.. he tells people he is rich and etc etc and I heard he lives homeless and panhandles by the freway... he had and has many visions of grandur !!  

LOL~ Sounds like we may have been married to the same man......the only child we had together is 11+ and hasn't seen his sperm donor since he was 3, the older boys were his and his ex's and they stayed with me after we divorced, now they are 27 and 24 and have been doing great since they disowned him 8+ yrs ago, but when Harley died this week it did bring out raw emotions that I know will heal with enough love and compassion. So true that they NEVER EVER change, and anyone who had anything to do with slore will be better off by cutting their losses and moving on. The look on the face of my homeschooled 13 year old grandson when his internet  privileges was taken away for a month by his parents for playing "Starcraft" with Heaven only knows who when a research assignment should have been his focus.  A day at the library ... accessing info from encyclopedias ... also contributed to that "Casey" look.

I honestly don't know what I am going to do with myself when this trial is over! My life is so consumed with it to the point of obsession! I even cooked up 2 weeks of food so I wouldn't have to mess with that. Just glad I live alone or everyone would be a little upset with me.

Hi monkeys

I decided to come in here and vent a little because I don't want to show my true emotions at work.  I work with a woman who reminds me of ICA.  I avoid talking to her because all she does is complain about her life.  She saw me say "hello how was your holiday weekend..." to some other people today and not her.  She proceeded to try to tell my future boss (I've been promoted, but it will take some time to find a replacement for my current position, etc.) some lies about some nonexistant stuff.  I keep reminding myself to stay cool, and just like this jury, my bosses will see the light (she runs to them about every complaint she has) and see that I can deal with my own problems at work without running to teacher, but seriously, She acts like people are stupid and cannot see through her and how she's trying to paint everyone ELSE in a negative light! So much like Casey! Ugh. and from where I sit I can make eye contact with her! I feel like Cindy on the stand today or George knowing that as long as I keep my cool, the angels are with me!  Sorry for the extreme off topic, but I feel so much better after venting already!

Hi Shari, I'm a lurker but wanted to come out of hiding and say hang in there.

Thanks for listening Mom of Five, I swear there is a flashing neon sign over my head in everyday life that says "I love Morons!" But maybe I really do love morons because there are so many in this case. Since my last post, my coworker has left work early and texted me "LOl. haha you and Lisa (another coworker annoyed with her)  deleted me on facebook"  I replied with "Please contact me by work e-mail only. Thank you."  I am trying so hard to be a good monkey.  I was told I can listen to music at work and never have until this trial started, now I am following it on my phone with earphones.  I am paranoid she will tell the powers that be that I am listening to the case or something to that effect, but I just have to remember that she's the one being immature and lucky for me, the powers that be are bosses that i respect and know what crazy really is!  My bosses are like Judge Perry Belvin!  Co-worker is crazy Casey! And my coworker Lisa is LDB! Not sure who I am in the case, but if I had my druthers I'd be a fly on the wall in this courtroom any day!

I cannot believe how unprepared/dawling Baez is in court! My god! Someone needs to put a boot print on his butt!

As long as I'm out of lurking I'm just about bursting at the seams listening to the trial. I am a victim of both child abuse and molestation and it's a little easier to talk about it in relative anonymity. I just want to tell you all that the minute I could I moved out of my house. My father beat me as a child. There was no way that I would have continued to live there as an adult. Thankfully the man that molested me is dead but there is another man in my extended family who has been accused of molestation and I won't let my children any where near him. I don't like to even have to sit at the same table with him at weddings. I can't fathom Casey living at home with both Lee and her Dad when they both supposedly have molested her. Especially when they're trying to say that it happened repeatedly. I don't believe it. She allowed her father to babysit for Caylee, this is not something that a victim of molestation does with the man who molested her. Not sure if it will work with a video playing in one, but you can try. 

Open as two separate windows, NOT as two tabs, but two windows.  And close everything else. 

Make each window 'restored down', not minimized, but not full screen either. 

Go to task bar on your computer, right click.  Click 'tile windows horizontally' or 'tile windows vertically'.  Your comp version might say it a bit different.  But what you want to do is 'tile' your windows. 

That should bring both windows into view at the same time, in equal size.  You'll be able to see one window while reading/typing in the other.

When finished, just go back to the taskbar, right click again, and click on 'untile windows'.

I just had a conversation with a friend of mine who is a detective handling child abuse and sexual abuse cases.  A couple of weeks ago, a 3 yo was found floating in the family pool.  She had been there for 10 minutes before she was found.  Her mother and grandmother were both at home. The mother was high on drugs.  They called 911, EMS resuscitated the toddler but she was brain dead and died 3 days later after taking her off of life support.  No charges were filed against the mother or the grandmother, it was ruled an accident.

You can't tell me that had George been there when Caylee "drowned" that he would have acted in the way the defense is portraying.  It just doesn't make sense.  And also, if Caylee had drowned while in the care of just Casey, had she called 911, no charges would have come to her either.....unless there were signs of abuse or drugs.  If accidental, Casey is covering something for sure.

I worked at a daycare center and had been working there for about a year.  I worked in the afternoons, with the 3 year olds.  I loved them!!!  They wouldn't graduate to my room until they were out of diapers (woot woot!) and they were just learning to talk really well.  I loved all my little kids (ok, most of them, haha) and I normally would have 15-20 kids by myself for a few hours.  That's more than the center was legally allowed to leave in the care of 1 teacher, much less a teenager!

The kids loved me and I even took some of them home with me when their parents needed sitters for after hours.  One day a new kid came into my room.  He was a "drop-in" and he had an older brother who was rotten!!  The older brother didn't want to go into the older room (4 yr. olds) so they stuck me with both of them.  Now, I was watching 22 kids that day, plus the 2 new kids, so 24 altogether.  This rotten 4 year old was taking the wooden puzzles and dumping them on the bathroom floor (which was covered in pee from my little boys who weren't good at aiming yet).  I picked up the pieces and scolded him, so he kicked me.  Hard!  I sat him in a chair and told him he was in "time out".  He stood up and kicked me again.  Normally, we would send kids that were misbehaving to the front to sit with the assistant director but she was super busy that day and told me to deal with it.  So I did.  ::MonkeyDevil::

That's odd. Why would an uncle ever babysit his niece...ever? Sounds like Cindy was the main babysitter but we've heard testimony that Amy said kc was upset with Cindy for not watching Caylee for her sometimes. I let my brother babysit for me a few times when my kids were little...even once when my oldest had colic and I wanted to get a good night's sleep one night. He watched my kids for me so we could go out and have dinner when my mother wasn't available or my sister. Lee never babysat. Hmm. Not one time. Not even to help kc go party...hmm.
