About the three phones on the counter...my understanding was that Deborah was in the process of transferring over numbers from one phone to the other, and that's why they were on the counter.  I'll see if I can go find a link.

"Here is a quick note about the 3 missing cell phones. Debbie's cell phone had been acting up and the speakers and microphone on it were continually only working intermittently. So Sunday October 2 when Debbie, Jeremy, Blake, Michael, and Lisa came over to Debbie's grandparents (My Mom and Dad) house to celebrate Blake's birthday my Dad gave Debbie his old plain jane phone that has NO way to collect contact information on it. Debbie transferred the service from her old phone to the one that my Dad (her Grandpa) gave her. When she went home later that night she had both of her phones out and started coping numbers one by one into the phone she got from her Grandpa. She didn't get them all done of course so she left them on the table. Jeremy's PERSONAL cell phone was also on the table. These 3 phones were the ones that were stolen."

The phone(s) issue is soooo hinky in so many ways.

Why would you spend all that time transferring contact info, let alone the service, when you know your service will end due to non payment by the next day or so?  Do they not pay attention to late bills with service cut off dates for non payment?  With their financial situation, they had to know that.     

According to that article, she was transferring (reprogramming) on Sunday Night, not Monday Night.

   Wait a sec. I think I must be wrong about the service being cut off. I'm sitting here thinking wow her dad went into great detail describing that their mics were going bad & the phones only worked sporadically, so their service couldn't have been cut off then.

Yeah, I'm rereading everything now. I definitely think I'm wrong. I believe Deb's dad. He wouldn't have gone into such great detail to explain something being wrong with their cell service.

Has it been reported whatbrands & model #'s are involved yet?

Supposedly 3 phones are missing. What are the make & model #'s?

Jeremy's work cell was in a drawer. What's the make & model # of that one?

Another thing that bugs the hell out of me.
IF all 3 cell phones didn't work, where would you put them?
I have 2 that don't work and they are in a drawer.  New one that does which I keep in my pocket.
 

The reason that they were on the kitchen counter, according to what I have read, was because they were charging.  My response to that is:

1.  Of course, because everyone knows that a phone that isn't working needs to be left on in case the good fairy should happen by and pay the phone bill.  And the chargers need to use up more electricity which JI was already stressed out about.

2.  Most wall sockets only have two receptacles which would make it impossible to charge all three cell phones at the same time in the same place. 

3.  If the only phone that I had was a cell phone, it would be by my bed when I went to sleep at night.  At least then I could dial 9-1-1 on my non-working phone or use it as a flashlight. 

4.  The BS in this cases is reaching hip-wader height and rising.  Nothing makes any sense, but JI/DB and their lawyers keep on throwing it out like it is the Golden Tablets. 

All 3 were charging....give me a brake.....
Not buying it.....

Could there have been a charger used that can charge multiple items at the same time?

Didn't the father say he gave her one of his phones, so I would think if that is true, DB nor Jeremy would have gone out and bought a special charger considering their money crunch. Or maybe they did, just thinking outloud here.

idk, they had 2 phones originally, it's possible they already had a multiple unit charger.  I'm just trying to make sense out of something that makes no sense.  *sigh*

I just don't see this couple buying a multiply  charger for 2 phones when wine is a priority for DB and Jeremy worries about being able to pay electric bills.
This phone thing for me, is just another red flag that they are lying to cover up.

Agree. Nothing makes sense unless the arrow points back to the inhabitants of the house that night. If you go with stranger theory, then there's even more questions with no answers that would have to happen only through a perfect storm scenario. There are plenty other babies to snatch besides a baby that had multiple people coming & going throughout that house that day. It has to be someone there that night, or someone that lived right near them to hear & see the partying going on outside.

But there would have to be another carrier that had service.  If that was true, why would DB need another phone so urgently that grandpop would offer his hand-me-down.  It would also blow the the theory that the kidnapper took the phones to prevent the police from being called once Lisa was discovered to be missing.

My sister LISA passed away in 2001 at just 36 years old. LISA was 10 mos. younger than me. LISA was Debbie's mother and they were very close. LISA would've been Baby Lisa's Grandmother. Debbie named LISA after her mother , my sister Lisa. Now We are without both Lisa's ....

Johnny Chiaravallotti Michael contacted Stanton on Twitter. Stanton has nothing to do with Tacopina. Nobody paid for Tacopina.he came aboard for free. For publicity. They stymied Debbie. Lisa lays out there somewhere. We think the Missouri River. She was weighed down and will never be found. I am not alone with these thoughts. I have talked to Debbie several times. I know Debbie. She couldnt look me in the eye.

Johnny Chiaravallotti Debbie doesnt drive and was drunk. She called several people for help after the accident. I know who she called but didnt help. And so do the Police. The sightings and calls were about disposal.

Johnny Chiaravallotti We dont know for sure who helped. But we know who refused to help and told her to call the Police. The family is not really divided. We know but dont know who helped in the end. This is where the dopers come in. Family was contacted first.
