A little sore, very tired. My son called and asked if he could come over (he lives about 30 mins away and never asks, just comes over) so my hinky meter was going off. I asked him what was wrong, and he said Nothing. So, he comes over, and BRINGS US DINNER! My boy....ah, what a man he's become!

Then my mom shows up with Cella chocolate covered cherries!!! It was nice, we all sat on the back porch and just talked. course, I don't remember much (pain pills) but it was fun. Now I'm wiped out! But two other people called and offered to bring supper out..how nice is that? I'm thinking I'm gonna make this cancer thing work for me!!

Did you get Joseph home yet? Are you feeling better yet? Some Cella cherries would probably help, you know. I'll share!

That was so sweet of him to do that. Yummm, I love those cherries, that was sweet of your mom. Let people bring supper out, milk it for all its worth. You deserve it.

Keep taking your pain meds, do what the doctor says.

No Josef isn't home yet, hopefully tomorrow. I took a three hour nap today and still have no energy. I was dreaming of chili cheese dogs. I know chocolate covered cherries would work as well.

Oh many times, but living in So California, where would I put her, she has a good job, but she would have to live with 2 or 3 others just to pay rent and living expenses. I haven't seen a thing in years in the area we live in, much below 1,200 dollars a month. It's almost impossible for her, so that is why she is here.

We would have to go all the way south into Arizona and through the lower altitudes and across Texas to go to the east coast, because the straight route east would take us over the mountains and the chocolate cherries would collapse. True story, just a tidbit. But the candy factory smelled devine, and they gave us samples to eat on the way.

We're going to get to see Bama play football tonight, because it is on national tv on ABC. We will enjoy it while it lasts.

I did, and little sleep. Our inside/outside cat decided she was lonesome about 4:30 am this morning, and kept coming to our bedroom door meowing. I thought she wanted out, and as soon as I would get up she would run under the dining room table. I'd go back to bed, and she would come back. This went on for about an hour and a half. Needless to say, I have bag under my eyes. I don't know what got into her. She did the same thing while my son was out of town, but wouldn't go out. He was home last night, so I don't know what the deal was.

Wow, Fanny, d'ya think I could get a job hauling chocolate covered cherries??????? I have connections to a local cherry outfit, but they're all about organic and healthty and I don't want that shit! Just gimme the sugar and the red food dye and the chocolate...Hmmmm...I'm thinking I wouldn't be a good saleslady for them! glad you're back, btw!

As for my evening plans, no football. I guess eventually I have to shower and change the dressings...not looking forward to that. The hosp did a horrid job of explaining it to me, good thing my sis gave me a run-down on it. But I don't wanna look!!

Maybe I'll just eat some more cherries and worry about it tomorrow. Oh, and JSM, I think I'm excused from Mass tomorrow...I'd have to go looking like a bag lady! (Which is what my son told me I looked like today! too funny!) You should prolly take the day off, too. I'll write you a note

Cherries are yummy. Take that shower it will make you feel better. Good thing your sister is there for you. I think you should be excused from Mass tomorrow. Use it to your advantage and have them bring you Eucharist to the house. That way you don't have to sit through the hour long mass.  You have an excuse now.

I probably will go tomorrow. I didn't go tonight because a) I woke up late and b) the Bishop was saying Mass at my parish and I knew it would be crowded. I hate it when school is in session, now I have to leave extra early because most of the students go to 11 o'clock mass. That's what I get for going to church at the University because I am too cheap to pay the toll fare to my other church. 

Plus, I am going to pick up Josef after Mass. That is my incentive for going tomorrow or I would probably spend the day in my bathrobe again.

[/quote] Josef knows when he is in trouble too. I can't wait to pick him up tomorrow. I called and checked on him today, they say he pooped in his kennel overnight. They say he only does that when he is mad, so I am in for it tomorrow. I forget what the rules are for missing Mass, but if it means I have to go to confession before I can take communion, I will go tomorrow. I would rather be beaten with a stick then go to confession. I have heard it is really bad now with our new priest, long lines, and if confession with him is anything like his homilies I would be in there for a long, long time.
