Did anyone hear, it sounded like Baez, "travesty of justice"?  Am I hearing voices again?

I heard it and he knew it would get out. I would guess there was no body but someone got convicted of the murder. I forgot the name he mentioned.

It was Dean Shillingsworth who was murdered

I heard that as well but couldn't decide who said it.  Judge Perry referenced some famous case with the murder of another jodge where apparently there was no body and no known cause of death.

Loved it!

Just because there was no known cause of death, there must still have been a conviction.

Maybe Baez is of the No Body No Case Paulus vd Sloot Law School.

Imagine if all someone had to do was make remains disappear or there be no proof of cause of death on them!

All Mason's last ditch efforts to get a mistrial or for the judge to acquit Casey right now, were denied by the judge. So closing arguments still take place on Sunday.

State Rebuttal Over, Closing Arguments To Be Held Sunday

When testimony was complete, WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer did not think the defense delivered on opening statement promises.

"They promised a lot and delivered nothing. There's no recorded evidence the child died in an accident, no recorded evidence George covered it up,” Sheaffer said.

Sheaffer said he thinks the defense will have its work cut out for it heading into closing arguments.

The prosecution began its rebuttal case with photographs of clothing taken at the Anthony home.

Casey is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child and four counts of lying to law enforcement.

Casey has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in Caylee's death and could face the death penalty if convicted of that charge.

I wonder if Foghorn, Baez and Finnel will tag team each other..or they will save Finnel strictly for penalty phase..when we get to that. 

If closing agruments are on Sunday..are the attorneys limited in time..or can they take as long as they feel they need?

Also..if closing arguments are Sunday and they finish Sunday by like 4 pm..can the jury then say we want to begin deliberation now?  I am thinking once they start to deliberate they are gonna go straight through to verdict in just a few hours..the defense did not prove anytihing in their opening statements and didn't rebut anything from the State..it really leaves little room for doubt..add in Cindy lying about the computer searches and there just isn't much left to debate.

I can't even comprehend what the defense will say in closing arguments..they can't do what Foghorn like's to do..point the finger at the State not proving the case..they can't make up stories..so what have they got they can actually put forward to defend her in closing statements/

All of us watched Cindys lies for 3 years
Even if she doesnt get prosecuted for perjury,
I will be satisfied knowing she helped convict KC     ::justice2NJ::
