I work from home and today I am really having a tough time staying focused. The fireplace going, dressed for comfort not speed...I don't remember ever being this comfortable!!! Anyhow, back on topic, what do we do when there is no more news and when the trial is over? Do we all just go away?

This case may drag out, and when it's over, unfortunately, there will be another. At times, things slow down and the focus on a given case lessens, but the bonds that are made hopefully will last. SM is a caring place, and that includes care for each other too.

Glad you're on board! We all need a drink at times and you're SO inviting!

Right you are.  BTW, what do the initials CBB stand for?

Nothing. I couldn't find a name that wasn't already in use on a hotmail account. Star Trek happened to be on TV when I was trying to set it up so I tried "borg". It was taken, so I tried "crazyborg". It was taken, so I tried "crazybabyborg" and BINGO it worked!

It was long, so I shortened it for here, when I joined. I had never been on a blog before, and just didn't want anything connected to me personally so I used it. I'm over it now and know this is a good, safe place to be!

It is interesting that the cops who went back to the Anthony home last time took shoes belonging to both Caylee and Casey.  I have not heard that they found any shoes in the area with the body, but maybe they found some footprints.  I also wondered if maybe Casey and Caylee walked down there from the house and Casey killed her there.  Later she went back and put Caylee in the bag.  The sheriff said no child should have to go through this.  Maybe Casey took a live Caylee there, taped her mouth and put her in the bag and let her die.  But how would they know?

But any footprints would have had to be there approximately 5 months and still be visible after the hurricane.  IMHO that is unlikely.  Unless you think she didn't die until much later.

kC had boots in her car that CA took out. I don't know if LE ever got them in the prior searches

Good Afternoon Monkeys  BRRRRRRR it's cold!

Disturbed Evidence at Caylee Anthony Site Could Hurt Defense

By HOWARD ALTMAN | The Tampa Tribune

Published: December 22, 2008

By the time investigators working for the Anthony family were allowed to visit the site where 2-year-old Caylee Anthony's body was found, it was too late to gather any "virgin scene" evidence, says forensic scientist Henry Lee.

That's one reason why the defense team, which had been seeking access to the crime scene since the bones were discovered, on Saturday declined the chance to visit the site, says Lee, working as part of a team on behalf of lawyers hired by the Anthony family. The bones, determined to be Caylee's, were found about a half-mile from where Caylee lived with her mother, Casey and grandparents.

"Ideally, we would have been out there the first day, before there was any disturbance," says Lee, perhaps best known for his work on the O.L Simpson case.

Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, has been charged with first-degree murder in the toddler's death.
After a grueling 10-day sweep of the crime scene, Orange County Sheriff's Office investigators concluded their search Saturday morning and offered the defense team a chance to visit the site. The team declined.

Lee says at this point, defense investigators are relying on media reports for information.

"We want to know the location of the plastic bag and skull," he says. "How many bones were inside the bag? How many bones were outside. We don't know anything directly from the sheriff's office. As an expert, you can only look at the original crime scene or original evidence. Once it is altered or changed, it is very difficult to put together."

Orange County Sheriff's Office spokesman Capt. Angelo L. Nieves declined comment.

Hours after the sheriff's office finished the crime scene investigation, the office obtained a warrant to search the home of George and Cindy Anthony, the parents of 22-year-old Casey Anthony.

Lee surmises investigators found evidence at the scene they believe is linked to the Anthony house but said he does not have any direct knowledge.

Defense investigators, says Lee, will eventually visit the crime scene.

"I will be looking for trace evidence and DNA evidence," Lee said. "Hair. Fiber. Any forensic evidence. Another area we will need to do work on is crime scene reconstruction."

Yeah, yeah, yeah--table have four legs, bloody footprint in cement, I have no respect for this guy.  I think that whatever ability he once had is gone with the cash.

This is where I meant the quote to be!

FTLOG, someone shut that idiot up.  Normally, a crime is committed, a crime is discovered and the scene investigated and THEN, when an arrest is made, the defense gets to see what the crime scene held, through pictures and reports.  Usually, the slore isn't locked up in jail for months BEFORE the crime scene is discovered.  I need to go to a happy place whenever ANYONE on the "dream team" opens their pieholes!

The first name of Cameron sounds familiar, the last name does not.

Isn't he one of TonE's roommates?  IIRC

Yes thats what I read and also the mention of this search on her computer along with all the escort websites:

Well it is good to know it has multiple meanings. So is this the Cameron that Tony said used xanax?

We have two new prosecution witnesses and we have clothing and shoes and something else or several things that Conway doesn't want to mention.  What if these two witnesses saw Caylee and Casey somewhere and have described certain clothing and shoes?  Don't know what it could tie too, but its another thought as to why clothing and shoes were collected.  Just what we need is another theory.

Thanks LIMom (and perriwinkle and no rose) for helping me figure out who this new witness is.

I remember KCJacquie having some suspicions about TonE's 'boss' -- and I'm wondering if that is where I've heard the name before

Thanks again!

The Anthonys may be concerned about where to bury Caylee.  Her grave could attract all kinds of attention.  This has been such a public case from the start.
Maybe they will cremate Caylee, yes her grave will attract all kinds of attention.

I would not be surprised if this has not already happened.  However, I still think there might be a 2nd autopsy.  It is possible that a 2nd autopsy could be complete by now.

I have a question.  When this goes to trial, will the questions George had to answer be put out there so that Casey will know if her Dad betrayed her???

I think grand jury testimony is admissible if the person testifying at the trail tries to change their grand jury testimony.  In other words to prove purgery.

Hey Monkeys, I have been having a bad day today. I lost my grandmother year ago. I don't know if it is Caylee being found or my sadness of not going to my grandmother's funeral that has put me in a funk. I had to go to London for a Led Zepplin concert when my Grandma passed, so that is pretty crappy on my end and I am feeling really gulity today because I didn't go to her funeral.

I HOPE and PRAY Casey feels 1 million times the guilt because she doesn't go to Caylee's funeral.

I hope this isn't too off topic, but I have been crying all day.
Your grandma knew you loved her, I am very familiar with guilty feelings over many things, everybody has guilt over something. Go take Joe for a walk, and clear your head, you might feel better.
Thanks for your thoughts, I will take him for a walk. Thanks again.

Joesamas mama - Hope your feeling better.  I have the following Chinese proverb framed in my house.

"You cannot prevent the birds of sorrow from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from building nests in your hair."

Morning all monkeys, hope all had a great and hopefully warm weekend.

CC, I like it.

The first one I posted, last post on page 38, is quoting Wyks theory of what happened to Caylee.  I meant to quote Henry Lee, which I did on page 39.  I said I needed to go to a happy place when I read anything from the "dream team" and I sure WAS NOT referring to Wyks theory.  If you could delete the first one, I would be so grateful.  Don't know if it shows up differently on different monitors but it is the last one on page 38.

Thank you in advance...

I don't think that the people who donated those bears, etc. gave them to the Anthonys to do with as they wish.  While the decision to give the toys to a shelter is not, in itself wrong, it is not for the Anthonys to decide.  God knows their decisions up to now have been ridiculous. If I had taken a memento to that site I would want those grasping, amoral people to keep their hands off.  These things are not on Anthony property, or do they now think they own all of Orlando?  Heck! They don't even own their own house.  They are mortaged up to the hilt.
You are so very right with that first statement.  They did NOT donate them to the Anthony's, they placed them at a Memorial in the name of Caylee.
The Anthony's took the toys ONLY because they were advised by to do so by their latest damage control attorney on the Anthony Tour de Florida to try and make them look a little less crazy.  If it had been up to the Anthony's they would have done with the stuffed animals the same as they have done in the past and thrown them in the trash.
I thought all the politicing was done after November 4th.

I agree with both of you!  The things left at the crime scene were done so in memory of CAYLEE, with dignity honor and respect.  It puts the focus on CAYLEE.

The A's come along with their self-righteous need to dictate and control everything and donate the toys.  (I'm not knocking the fact that toys went to needy children, that's a good thing that comes out of this mess, I'm knocking the fact that it was NOT the A's place to do such a thing with those items.)

In effect, what the A's have done, is ONCE AGAIN take the focus off CAYLEE and back onto themselves.  Was nothing even said to the children who received these items about the fact that those toys were given as a loving gesture TO Caylee from loving folks everywhere?  That's who ought to be thanked, IMO, not the A's themselves.  The way it's turned out is that the A's are seen by others as the benevolent ones.  (Creating a better opinion of themselves at the expense of Caylee and those who placed those items in honor of Caylee?)

I am stunned and disgusted that LE allowed this to happen.. yet again.. IMO, they simply could have had city/county workers go in and remove those items as they began to be affected by the weather, etc.  To remove them beforehand, by anyone, for any reason, NEGATES the loving gestures they were placed there with.

All my own opinion.

Good Morning Monkeys..

Just popping on before I go out to shovel more snow (only 4 or 5 inches this morning)

Coffee's Ready !!!!!

On the deposition of the A's ...although I can understand postponing it until after the funeral...I always thought that the deposition HAD to be answered..even if it's not a sit down with the other lawyer, ZG's lawyer can mail the questions and the A's can reply in writing. Any legal monkeys up this morning ?

TIA..will check back later

Are you talking about Interrogatories?

Hopefully this doesn't sound nuts but has anyone ever seen a picture of Lizzie Bordens eyes?  I think they look a lot like Casey - strange and cold.

I noticed this photot earlier today and thought the same thing........
