Eastern time is 3 hours ahead of Pacific time.  I am just not sure of the time of the conference.  They are usuallly at 10:30, but he said something about 10AM yesterday.

I have been sitting here wondering the same things, Janet. I'm also concerned about the five year old daughter of Melissa, please I hope this child has been taken out of that home, and is being checked at a hospital, I'm also wondering how many other children in that mobile park, Melissa got her hands on? Also the church here in Bellflower, how many children did Melissa get her hands on there? I'm physically sick right now.

IMO - that church was used as a *cover-up* for awful things....which explains why there was never much community activity there.

Janet - I agree and I think there have been some very bad things going on at that "church"

When I consider all persons of interest in this case and their connection to Melissa and that church ... my hinky indicator has reached bright red and is ... flashing.

Also ... the church's website concerns me.  It has not been updated since 2001.  Why is the Pastor the focus and ... the church info secondary?  This is one of the indicators that the ministry within could fall under the category of a cult.

That church is holding some deep dark secrets, CSI was even on the roof yesterday. 

Forgive me , I have not been on this thread a lot other than reading.  Do we know if the church has any audio/video equipment installed to record their "sermons"?

I don't know, the church only has like 15 people that attend.

just found out about the arrest. omg how heartbreaking! im glad i made it in time for the presser, i hope they address motive and potential accomplices...id lay odds on her doing the drugging at someone elses behest. sick sick sick.

Like I said, I really didn't/don't think it was her.

I agree K9.  My gut feeling is that Melissa was the "fall guy", put out there willingly or against her will.  I expect more arrests very soon, despite what LE is saying.  And I believe the next arrest will likely be Fred Williams.  Still not certain on who else, but no doubt there are more.  IMO

The pastor of our church is not the focus.  Pastors could come and go over the years but our church doctrine remains firm.  In other words ... the members are in control through an elected board and ... it is a given that the pastor is one with the doctrine.  He does not have to be the focus of the church's website.

Am I making sense?

The day after Sandra was found - there was a report that the crime was horrific. Now, I'm not at all sure why would the word "horrific" was chosen as I have no knowledge of any autopsy results. But, it seem to indicate that someone knew the condition of Sandra's body / remains.

To me, and I've read the words "abuse her like that" and "horrific", this speaks volumes to a profiler or LE.

Apparently ... Sandra was wearing the clothes she was wearing that afternoon.  Could it be she was administered too high a dosage of drugs and thought to have died?  Could it be that there are indications that Sandra woke up in the suitcase?
