Thank you to all the great friends I have here on this forum...this is such a caring group who need friends in the outside world


My friend was also the lady I have cared for in the last three years...she got sick suddenly and died within a week God was very merciful  and she did not suffer. I have to say she was the most caring and giving of others and she made a big impression on my life of how we should help others that are in need...that was her focus in life.

Aww, Mymonkey, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad she did not suffer, and even gladder that you will remember her well. It sounds like she taught you well.

Thanks Mom. I got a two hour nap....and am setting my DVR for Lost AND NCIS...I think I can record two at once. And I still have homework to do for the new class tomorrow night, and grade the tests my inmates took yesterday.

I did find out when my last chemo is, and when radiation starts! Now I think I'm gonna have to get a job....ugh! Don't you think I should like get the summer off, sleep till noon and have my mom pick up after me????

Heck ya I definitely think so........When is your last chemo and how many radiation treatments will you need Tevye? 

Last chemo is Feb. 25, then a 3 week break, then 5 weeks of daily radiation. then hormones. Oh, and school....and the jail. I think being so busy is good for my mind, and not so hot for my body...but my mind is all I really care about. the jail and school keep my mind off the cancer and keep me too busy to do dishes, so it's all good! I just need more sleep!

Getting over bronchitis, sorry to hear you aren't feeling well    JSM how funny that your mom is addicted to FB, I sort of got the idea with my daughter's help. I can't see getting addicted, I'm actually getting nervous trying to figure it out and trying to do things right on it. Hope you feel better 

I hope your bronchitis goes away soon. I have facebook, rarely look at it though. I would rather hear and talk with monkey friends than I would people I havent seen in 15 years.

I think it is time for you to go home to the couch with a warm blanket and the remote - Oh and Josef too

That's what you need JSM, and go slow taking Josef out, that is what I've been doing, going slow, Zoe loves it, gives her more time to sniff.

I know one thing, I'm glad that I grew up in the 60's and 70's, I'm not cut out for all this technology. I don't know how the kids do it, between video games, texting, myspace, facebook, ipods, seriously I'm exhausted just thinking about it. I live in a Flintstone world, slowly doing things in the Jetsons world.

As do I No Rose, I hate texting, why not just pick up the phone and call. Drives me crazy. I haven't played a video game since Atari was hot.

One day I was at the store sitting in the parking lot trying to figure out my husband's cell phone, it took a good ten minutes and I was able to call home. I don't know what is wrong with me, I guess because I just don't want to figure things out, that is why I don't know what I'm doing. And video games, please, no way do I have patience to do that. Now I'm hearing the new Monopoly game will be round, and you use a debit card  WTH, leave stuff alone already.

You have someone to play with, I would just being playing alone. I get too frustrated with games, I'm like a little kid  I hate the phone, whether it is a landline or a cell. I would have no idea why there would be an expert in the Zenaida case

I'm still sitting here laughing, I asked my older daughter to bring her wedding photos over to my FB. She is explaining how too over the phone, after ten minutes, I just said, please when you get home can you do it. I couldn't find the word tag, and then when I did it didn't do what she told me it would do. I keep telling them both, in kindergarten I played in a sandbox, we weren't on computers
