These guys are pretty skiddish.  I am now wondering if they may have been someone's pets that flew the coup?  If you look at the image there is two of them, one was just leaving when I got too close.

Was there a mating pair? Male on left, of course the "prettier one".
I don't know much about keeping birds as pets.  Maybe Trimm will know.  I just look at them out the window.  And look them up on the internet when I see one that I don't recognize & play their song to drive cats crazy.

The male would be on the top dead branch and the other one moved so fast could not tell.  I will have to see if the other one has a black patch on its head or not.  Or if she is carrying some "come hither" feathers.

If it is a .bmp file, just right click on the file on your hard drive.  Choose rename, and then change the extension to .jpg

I love birds too NRCG.  I will get a picture of the wild turkeys when they come by and post.  They are not pretty but are huge and interesting to watch with all the hens and the Tom's strutting!  I think it's neat that I see goldfinches all the time and never think that some have never seen one.  I live near a pine woods and have about 4 pairs of cardinals that come to the feeder and lots & lots of woodpeckers!!!

Good morning Monkeys - lots of catching up to do while wurking I couldn't keep up yesterday because work got in the way they need to understand that blogging is very important but they haven't grasped that concept yet

Thanks JSM I could use a prayer. But at least today I can laugh and just shake my head, and realize I must be in a Twilight Zone episode  Then after all that, I jumped into the shower to find that I was going to take a shower with ants, I didn't even care, tomorrow will be call Terminex guy again 

Eewwww,I am so tired of bugs.the ants aren't as bad now.It's the little thousand leg crawly bugs.  We demand justice.     Bring on the bug guy.   

I found two centipedes about three inches long in my hot tub a couple of days ago.  I had just done the band of bug killing poison granules around my house the day before.  I wonder if they were trying to ride it out in the hot tub?

I have the box open, where it shows all the downloads, and when I right click on it, it doesn't say rename. I know I'm not doing something right. Maybe my son will show me when he gets home from school, if I'm nice to him

I have so much to do also 

    My hubby and I are going away this weekend and I have so much to do to get ready.   My head is hurting, I guess from stress.   All I want to do is lay down but I can't.   

How's Zoe?   Still dealing with those hot temps out there?

Knock on wood, she is feeling better, the heat is horrible. Today our forecast is hot, with smoke and haze from the fires  When I went out at 6 for a walk with her, we got caught in a rain that lasted about 5 minutes. Don't know where that came from out of the blue, but it brought humidity with it  I know what you mean about headaches and stress, do you also get a pounding in your chest, and weird feelings in your stomach?

Yes, I do.         I've had too much to worry about lately - between my daughter's pregnancy and my brother.  Also learned yesterday that my dad is having dizzy spells again and is going to see his heart doctor Tuesday.  My middle child is flying out to Dallas tomorrow by herself - on business.   She's coming to dinner tonight so we can tell her how to get to the airport.   She doesn't even know how to get there.   She's never even parked a car in long-term parking or anything.   Boy, now that is something to really worry about.
