Good morning Monks!

so glad I went back and read the last few pages of yesterdays discussion.  I had totally forgotten that Dr. G said the duct tape was placed on Caylee before she died.  How in the heck does the defense think their drowning story will hold up when this information is on record and will surely come back up later?  Anymonkey know?  TIA

Page 3 of the autopsy report says the tape was clearly placed PRIOR to decomposition.

I don't understand why Tony isn't allowed to say what anyone else said?  Is that hearsay?  It makes testifying about Casey's portion of the conversations awkward.

I thought hearsy was when somebody hears what another person said to somebody else or somebody says so and so told me.  Not, what the person hears themself from the other person. 

I thought that too Zoo.  I noticed them doing that yesterday ... and I still don't understand it.

Why in hell did the deputy not take the laptop? Especially if he was looking for clues.
I hope he got reamed for doing a shoddy job, since Lee wiped the hard drive.

I think at that time, the deputy was looking for Caylee to see if there was evidence she was there.

I agree..they didn't know the extent of what had happened or even may have happened at this point ... I can't remember if they returned and searched his apt. again for info once they knew

I just assume that Linda's the supervisor because it's her case - that's the reason Linda was the one to make the opening statement.
