Is the FP working okay?

Heavy traffic right now from the Netherlands due to the Jensen replay.

I think we should send the M&C info to Spain. They may want to consider this info if they will be sending cruise ships there.

San-

It just proves there still are no rules for Joran, not even regarding school. Ultimately I do believe Joran will expose himself and also put egg all over Joe T's face, by the time all is said and done.

In case he is looking for a good college I know of a good one.  It has steel bars and nice friendly men who like like to play sports all day and lift weights.

He better take a large supply of condoms with him to that college.   Wink

It was just sending me to a strange page, but it seems okay now.

I'm glad Beth's interview generated some interest in this case from the Netherlands.

What is this business about Belgium people at RU are talking about?  Is there a sliver of truth about Natalee ever being there, or is that just a bold-faced lie?

Usually one of them will take a small portion of a story and turn it inside out, but I have never heard anything about Natalee being an exchange student in Belgium at age 16.  They may have out done themselves with this one.

Hi Monkeys.  I'm lurking and grading essays (still!).  Do you get the impression that the Dutch really are going to investigate this case?  I do.  I think they have had enough of the bad behavior from an island that is nothing but a thorn in their side--and expensive, to boot.  You know, most people in this world are upright, moral, and ethical and despise the self-serving criminals who make all of our lives miserable.

Most likely a lie.  It's possible that Natalee and Beth have visited or been through Belgium.

Are you sharing this info with Beth's travel awareness site?  They might want to build a data base that gives true insight into various travel destinations.

Easy,
That is an excellent idea.  I will work on that when I return this evening if MsMarple hasn't already done so.  It does tie right in with her efforts but it did not occur to me that she might use this information as well.  Good thinking and thanks!

<snip>

Anna - Can you see about a contact with someone in the family? Or possibly Red should do that? Wink

A problem with her web site taking this on is, the site would also have to determine whether the location publishes valid crime stats.

If other travel destinations resemble Aruba in this respect, a potential traveler who does due diligence would have to go through what we have - local papers in another language, internet searches, etc. (And probably have only a few weeks available to do so, before making the trip.) But if her web site could take that on, it would be a tremendous service.

I hope that makes sense.

But, yes, her web site might like to have what we know about Aruba, for starters.
