Cobra said that he has not heard from Marty or Connie Sheffield or Ruby Kanger since July.
No telephone, no e-mail, no forwarding address or anything.

TJ Hart says that he had not heard anything from them since the beginning of September.

A question was asked if or why the A/C guy was cleared.

Cobra could not answer that question but did say that there are 2 A/C guys.  One that lived down the ramp of 202 Green and another one that has a broken relationship with TN.

Cobra said that he did not know why Misty never mentioned the a/c guys name since they had been mooching off of him.

TJ stated that TN informed him that Hankins purchased the passes and paid for Misty, Ronald and Butterbean's get-away.

Slightly OT, but are we four Monkeys the only ones who did not get word of a holiday?  Where the heck is everyone these past few days? 

I hope TJ stays firm in his stated intention to ignore NG.  I feel he only gains credibility by doing so.  I know he's a bit removed from the Satsuma area, but I'm sure he's got some sources on the ground there.  I'm gonna trust him before NG, Art Harris and the rest.  Hopefully my faith in him will be rewarded with some news breaks that are long overdue in this case!

TJ stated that he has tried to contact and left messages for Tim Miller to see if they will be returning to search for HaLeigh, but has gotten no response so far.  It is TJ's opinion that finances may be a problem.

I agree cdp.  TJ was/is actually in this for HaLeigh.  He is not paid by NG or anyone else regarding this case. He is not taking money to do his part in finding and bringing HaLeigh back.  Although he gets a little hot under the collar, he does because he stands for right. jmo

I am not surprised about the NG program. Her ratings might be down and she has to have a BOMBSHELL every night. But ppl will only fall for this so many times. Like I said, I am going off her. My DD and SIL went off her long time ago. There is no journalism or any in depth commentators on her show
any more. Same for JVM. In my mind, Nancy has to change or be gone because the format isn't working. Once in a while, she has a new tid bit of info, but I am not willing to look at the show five hours a week to get ten minutes of worthwhile tv.

Kat, I agree.  Although I have to watch just in case!  (Guessing she knows that!)

Have you ever noticed how NG never gets a negative call-in.  It's all "love you and the twins," etc.  I wonder if her show is really live or delayed just enough for them to press a panic button on negative calls ... cause if it were me, I'd tell producers here's my question, and I'd hold on until I was on air, and then I say "What the F##*" and blast her.  I can't be the only one thinking that ... so how is it nothing bad ever gets on the air?  And just my opinion, but to hell with the "Miss Nancy" and whatever ... every caller to her is "Dear" ... come on ...

I am still checking also, I don't know the reason for Grama Sykes using or residing at the Ann St address, but it appears that Jeffrey Hankins has had that property for some time. Perhaps Sykes or one of the Sykes was renting from Hankins at one time.

Also I have heard some say that Hankins was/is married.  Of all the deeds I have looked at so far, Hankins is listed on deeds as a single man.  Mind you I have not looked at all the documents listed at http://www.lakecountyclerk.org/services.asp?subject=Online_Official_Records , that will have to wait until tomorrow. Perhaps he is/was, we will see.
