Who gets the last say at the end of the trial? I think the perfect end for the state would be playing Caylee singing "Please don't take my sunshine away". I hope that's the last thing the jury hears before deliberating.

I am sure that Baez and his DT read here and elsewhere to see what the public is thinking as the trial progresses and George's suicide note, that idea came from here a few days ago.
If she gets the DP, too bad her DT can't be sentenced along with her. His opening statement and the way he is handling her defense is the vilest thing I have ever seen.
He has topped Scott Peterson's defense. Which worked, no so much.
Those jurors came in pretty well blank slates, wonder if they wanted to just punch KC out yesterday on behalf of Caylee, her parents, Lee and the general public.

I know I think I read a comment about this the other day but I did not see it, but apparently there is a video at the above link. 

I was here all day yesterday, until the last video of Lee and KC and I could not stand to listen to any more of them 2, so went to bed.

Of course  I missed Bozo's shenanigans about medical records, adding a grief counselor, etc.  I wonder who is paying her.  I wonder if he will try to get JAC funds for this grief counselor. 

They truly make me sick.

Anybody know where I can find an official Defense withness list?  The ones I have seen are so confusing.  I would like to see how many people he has to present.  The state one too, the one I saw of the State had over 300 witnesses, and I could not follow it at all.  Some were added, dropped, changed from state to defense.  My head was spinning. 

I hate that we have to wait until Sat at 1 pm to see if this medical evidence will be allowed into evidence, and what it contains, if we find out what it contains, or this new witness who has not examined KC.  I am a nervous wreck.  Read the rumor too about an STD?  Seriously, this is BS.  I wish Lippmann would adress this rumor. 

There is no way George gave KC an STD or vice versa.  This man is willing to do anything to smear anybody.  I am suprised he has not blamed Caylee for her demise yet, although he has by saying she went into the pool and drowned.  What a chmuck.

I am really worried about #4 and #11.  Those are the ones who one of the tweeters said yesterday paid very close attention to the duffense team and even that one of them leans forward to listen to him.

   zoo Bozo said the abuse took place when kc was 8-he did not say the sexual relation continue until today.  and if anyone gave an std it was kc who gave it to george.  What about cindy if George had an SYD wouldn she-or was she the only  person who was not having sex with George---

well the one good thing is now we know Lee wont say he molested Casey and that his attorney is the same one as the A's. did anyone watch on HLN where they showed a split screen of Casey and Yuri when they were at Universal talking to her and every once in a while he would look her way and she would look up over the computer and glare at him, it really was scary she had murder in her eyes, i hope the jurors saw that side of her

I believe Bozo said from age 8 and up and even said that at 13 years old she could have his you know what in her mouth in the morning and then go to school and play with the other kids (paraphrasing here), so not sure what to think. 

I am making myself so sick worrying.  I do not know if I will be able to handle it if she is acquitted. 

I listened to this again and everything on it, now 3 years later it's all true.

 Zoo  I know just how you feel--and it only takes one -to hang a jury--if she is acquitted-then we should change the jury system and make it a majority--one thing really scares me--this jury had to give up months of their life--so I have to ask --did they have a life.  If most of the jurors are reasonable -- it still just takes one

The state said they are close to the half way mark of witnesses which was IIRC 49 witnesses. So we have roughly 50 more witnesses for the state to testify. (I think LDB agreed with JP when he estimated 1-2 more weeks for the state.)
Now, we have to consider it will take more time for some of the forensic expert witnesses, so it could be a little longer. Plus who the hell knows how long it will take the duhfense to cross examine the experts.......if the Frye hearings are any indication, we're in trouble! ::MonkeyNoNo::

Well, the prosecution is going chronologically in order, KC's in jail, so I guess the finding of the body will be coming up soon.

Does anyone know if Roy Kronk is on the state's witness list?

I'm wondering if they will have him on the stand to testify to finding the body.

After which, will be the autopsy photos.

Can anyone think of anything between the jailhouse phone calls and the finding of the body that needs to come in?

You're right and IIRC, in the opening statements, Baez said there will be a lot of discussion with the experts.

I too missed the shenanigans about the medical records and a "grief counselor".  IMO, the people will be paying for her to testify, if it is allowed.  I cannot believe the badgering that this "defense team" does on a daily basis.  It truly is sickening.  Hopefully, once this trial has ended, so will Bozo's 'career' as an attorney.  Double praying for a conviction and a revoked attorney license.   ::MonkeyAngel::  May today bring us closer to Justice for Caylee.

Good morning, Monkeys! 

Real life messed up my day's watching of the trial yesterday.  Of course, I have seen the jail videos many times over the past 2+ years but in scanning the tapes last night, I heard (what I thought) was mention of a "found" lost tape or something to that nature.  Was there one played yesterday that hadn't been shown before in initial discovery?  If so, of course I'll just feel the need to find it, I'm sure. Otherwise, I'll just concentrate on today's.

I was thinking I had missed the Casey-Blows-Her-Stack video according to what my husband said yesterday. However, from what I saw on a news report this morning, I think they expect it today.  I am interested in their commentary on the jury's reaction to her meltdown. I think that tantrum will solidify some opinions already forming in their minds. (Unfortunately, I also think the playing of the videos will also contribute to the ruling of the incompetency of counsel that I feel is inevitably coming soon after the trial reaches appeal level.)

However, Judge Perry had no recourse than to rule as he did. I just can't help wondering if Baez thought he'd slip that deadline miss right past the judge. I continue to be most impressed by His Honor...impressed by his extensive rote memory of law and very impressed with his ability to control his inner laughter at some of the bumblings he is witnessing. I still can't repeat Baez's question of Yuri (paraphrased..."And did you ask her if she had ever committed suicide?") without at least a slight giggle.  Neither murder of a child nor suicide are one bit humorous but the stumbling and mumbling of inappropriate wording gets me every time.

I'm hoping "the lost video" gets played today. Blowhole for some reason thought the jail withheld it cause KC wasn't supposed to accept any visits that weekend. He was in NY selling Caylee pix. But KC allowed the visit. I think the video somehow got overlooked for a period of time & just didn't get released sooner rather than later. Blowhole fought to "find" it and release it......he should have kept his pie-hole shut because it is prob one of the most damning videos of the "real" KC........evil! I Can't wait to see it again myself, knowing the jurors will be watching it!!

Morning Monkey Friends, Just Us For Caylee.  I am feeling no worries these days.  The prosecutors are laying this out in a thorough and methodical manner.  I believe there will be Justice. ::justice2NJ::

That is the one I have used all the time, with the killer-cam a tiny box so i can watch her reactions.

Now they went and made a split screen and it is too small and the details are all blurry.  Cannot load the regular WFTV (non-killer cam) because the refresh annoys me.

Boy, if that's the tape that was "lost," I'm really glad they found it!

In its own way, I think it's going to be as powerful as the 911 tape. It's not the voice level that is as telling (in my opinion) as the pure evil appearance on her face when she doesn't get her way. It's one of the most applicable pictures of the evil-of-fury expression that I think I have ever seen documented on anyone's face...Oscar worthy, if you will, if she had been acting.  I just pray little Caylee didn't have to see that look on her mama's face many times in her short life.

It is the look of pure evil when furious...and it's scary.

On the 3rd 911 tape, when George comes home.....we hear Cindy say something like...I'm talking to them now.   George must have told her to call the police.  Lee and Casey already knew she was calling them.  I wonder why the State didn't ask Cindy about that remark.

I would too. However after seeing Cindy's emotional testimony and the jail tapes of how much the A's loved Caylee but also loved Casey and was sticking by her, I don't think they're going to give Casey the DP and make George and Cindy go through that.

I'm wondering when they will question Jesse Grund, Annie Dowling and Mark Hawkins...Slore visited, or at least had contact with them all prior to her killing Caylee ( I refuse to any longer, or ever again refer to Caylee as "missing", nor her demise as an "accident.")

Her meds are lower today as she is smiling and grooming.

I have such a nervous stomach lately, spend so much time in bathroom.  I guess it is nerves.  I wish I could be as care free as some people.  Caylee is not even my child and my stomach is in constant turmoil.  As I sit and wait, it is just torturing me right now.  How can she sleep?  I have bags under my eyes from not sleeping that much and when I do sleep, it takes me over an hour to get to sleep and then I dream about this case.

Hello Monkeys, Ihave been watching every chance Ive had but havent had the time to comment, been working alot this week and my daughter has been getting ready for graduation  tonight.....what bad timing ...lol..but today I am off work and will get to watch for most of the day. I dont think for one second Caseyhoe is gonna get anything but the DP.......I think the state  has a lot more stuff they are gonna throw out before this is all over. WhoreAldo thinks that if she is found guilty, that it will be reversed on appeal because she was not mirandized while being interrogated.  He is trying to say that she was a suspect as soon as LE found out she was lying and therefore, should have been advised of her rights. 

He then went on to say that she could be convicted this time of aggravated manslaughter, a 5-15 sentence, and then if it was appealed, the most she could be convicted is aggravated manslaughter.  If she was convicted a second time on that charge, she probably would have served seven years for the original hypothetical conviction, and therefore, could be released for time served.

As usual, GR is talking out of his blow hole.  I did like it when he said he would be is house that she could get a reversal upon appeal.  I look forward to taking possession of his residence and kicking his sorry arse to the curb.  ::CowboySmiley:: ::CowboySmiley::

Remember during jury selection and the defense asked the jurors if they would need her to admit guilt during the mitigation phase?  She'll never admit anything unless she can/will benefit.  George and Cindy should withhold all commissary deposits for the rest of her life until she tells them a story about what happened that sounded remotely true.  then they should still withhold giving her any money for snacks.

My gosh, they're like those parents that just "give in" bc it's easier to deal with letting their kid have their way rather than not. What could have been nipped in the bud as a child turned into a behavioral issue and a dead Grandchild. I can't imagine the stress & pressure it caused in her family dynamic. Bozo is now wanting to get the next tape out which I believe is the one where she has the meltdown.  Maybe he finally watched them last night.

9am Friday June 2, 2011 Court is in Session:

Judge is on the bench, Linda is gonna play the July 30, 2008 Jail Visitation.  George and Cindy Anthony visiting Casey in Jail.

Baez is noting his previous objections. Especially about it making Baez look bad.

Jury is coming in.  Judge is reading the stipulation to the jury concerning the Jail Video.  Says it is true and accurate recording of the visitation and it should be true in fact in their deliberations.

George and Cindy are talking to each other first.  Casey came in and sat down.  They say good morning, they show Casey their Caylee T-shirts and said Annie had those done.  Casey said to thank Annie.  Casey is talking about how she is sleeping well.  They said it was good to see each other yesterday.  Casey asked how dad was doing, he says hi beautiful, he said how glad he is to see her.  Even for just a moment and he loves her, the house is too quiet without Casey and Caylee there.  Casey said I know, it has been two weeks.  George said that the outpouring of love and Casey said that she just wish that more people were focused on finding Caylee.  George says his only focus is finding Caylee.  He tells her about all that is done to find Caylee.  Cindy says Caylee will be on the cover of People magazine on Friday.  Casey said good.  Cindy asks Casey is there anything..........Casey stops her and says mom, stop it is good.  Cindy says is there anything I should tell Caylee.  Casey says just tell her I love her.  Casey says she just wants to go home, everyday I wake up, I just want to go home.  I want to just go home and find her.  I can't do anything from where I am at.  I feel helpless here not helping her find her.  Cindy said what else can I do.  Casey says I know you went on Larry King and that is good he is very insightful.  Holly went on Larry king.  They are talking about Lauren, she had a baby, Casey is crying cuz she wants to see the new baby.  Cindy is saying all kinds of old friends are all calling and helping.  They are talking about Shirley Pleasea and Cindy said she is not well.  Casey said her heart is aching cuz she wants to be back with the family.  Caylee said everyday she feels more and more like they will see Caylee again.  They talk about Casey seeing a minister.  She talked about him telling her story that lifted her heart and spirits.  He went to bed and had a very heavy heart and woke up in a closet and he kept laughing and he laughed and laughed and forgot why his heart was heavy.  Laughter is good.  Cindy said laughing is as good as crying for you.  Cindy said I know you are consumed with Caylee but you need to laugh.  Casey said it happened right before she saw Jose and she really needed it.  They got her morning all mixed up and took her to the court by mistake and sent her back to jail.  She saw the same ladies at the bond hearing and they made her laugh and feel better.  We have to keep everything in our conversations together quiet about everything, talk about everything else but information.  She was so glad she saw them yesterday at the Bond Hearing and she had a nice little field trip, she hadn't slept much the night before.  She has been enlightened and feels better since yesterday.  I am glad you got the chance to come, I know it was last minute.  They came to a jail visit and Casey wasn't there.  It was all a mix up.  Casey said she was glad she got a shower the night before.  George wants to talk to Casey.  His parents aren't doing well, he is telling Casey about it.  They want the best for her and they are sorry they weren't around enough for Caylee.  Casey said it's ok they got to see her enough.  They always had asked how everyone is, so they have been in touch.  Casey says I know.  George said we miss you a lot. I wish I could of been a better dad a better grandpa.  Casey, said dad, I can't say this enough you have been the best dad and the very best grandfather ever.  You have always been the best mom and dad ever.  Casey said we will all be back together, don't worry.  Tell mom to eat, I have always been skinny but I am worried about mom.  George tells her to eat no matter what they give you and stay positive.  Casey says there is so much they can all do, just keep your focus where it should be.  The media is trying to show things in a bad light but people know the truth.  She wants to talk to Ryan and Annie but in private not in public.  She doesn't want anyone else in the public, she wants them to thank Annie again.  She declined visits last night, she doesn't know who they were, she needed to sleep.  Cindy is crying and says I love you, she is trying to stay strong for you but it is getting harder everyday.  Casey says I know it's harder, I know it more than anyone right now.  Cindy can't wait till Caylee and Casey are back home.  Caylee can't see any of the.  Cindy asks if Caylee is being hurt or harmed.  Casey said she feels in her gut she is still OK.  Cindy said from now on, never let anyone outside of the family have her.  Casey says she will never let her out of her sight, she is thinking about jobs and schedules.  Cindy says you will never need to work, we will figure it out.  Casey says I know she is not just my little girl, she is all of ours.  Casey is using the hand analogy and has been telling that story to other people.  Tell dad to breath, it is ok.  Cindy said it is very hard Cays.  Casey said they are doing everything they can to find Caylee.  Casey is talking about how she can't say much.  Because of the certain circumstances of why she is here, she hasn't written them any letters.  She will try to if she finds time to.  Casey said her face is wet and she can't wipe her face.  She doesn't know who came to see her last night but she is declining all but family now.  She appreciates Ryan and Amy wanting to come see her and talk to her.  Cindy has talked to them both.  Casey says she hasn't been crying everyday, she is keeping her wits about her, this is the strongest she has ever been.  She just thinks about Cindy and George and that keeps her from crying.  Cindy said she wants to crawl up into a ball but she can't.  Casey said that everyone is saying that Lee is the loud one, then Cindy then Casey and dad will always be quiet and process things before talking.  We need dad to be like that.  Casey said oh man it is good to see you guys.  I have to keep saying that.  Cindy is glad they waited till this am to come see her.  She will see no one but family.  She wants her time spent with family.  Cindy asks if they should make another jail visit appt. and Cindy says she will do it, they have to schedule it.  They have one more visit left open this week.  Cindy asks anything you want me to tell Lee?  Casey said she just wants to thank him.  He told her all about the charities and she thanks all of them for doing different things to find Caylee.  Cindy said she would of had more time to talk about Caylee and not the 911 tapes....Casey tells them to defer questions.  Audio cuts out.  Linda wants to put the next one into evidence and Baez asks for a side bar on that.  Sidebar...........I don't know if they are gonna continue with this tape or the next one.  I am going to post before I lose this post.

Do you think he helped hide or dispose of Caylee?  I did initially, no longer though.  Why do you think he molested her?  I thought it b/c it would have explained Casey's anger and cruelness towards her parents as well as her maybe not bonding comletely with Caylee and making her death easier. Yes.  The www.wftv.com (http://www.wftv.com) camera panned around the courtroom before the judge came in and I saw both in their usual seats.  I am not crafty enough to do a screen shot but I did see them.

I think the defense wants us to feel nuts, like clearly Casey is the sane one and just has a high function coping mechanism.  Maybe we all aren't as evolved as Casey.  Really, after hearing the whole Kronk stole her body thing, I don't know how the jury believe anything the defense presents.

Her annoyance with both George and Cindy when they try to encourage her is glaringly obvious.  Her impatient, "I KNOW Dad.", "I KNOW Mom." speak volumes.  She doesn't need their advise, she just needs their money and for them to bail her out.  That's all she wants from them.  She just tolerates them;  them talking about their pain, their loss; their relief that the public is searching...because she needs them to bail her out.  You can see and hear it in each of her flat, bored responses: "Uh-huh."  "Yeah."  "Absolutely." "That's great."-all without excitement or gratitude. When George/Cindy/Lee go on about Caylee, she: always interrupts so she can be the one talking about Caylee and turn the conversation; talks about Caylee with zero emotion; and is always careful to emphasize that Caylee is theirs and has the best of them- suck George and Cindy in emotionally and play up the good mom/loving family.  Sickening!

Cappy, I really believe Baez is establishing a mental defense case for appeal after she's found guilty during this trial. Casey that Cindy will just keep going and going, she is strong and Casey is strong like her mom.  They have five minutes left.  George has to talk to the media after this and he will tell them they had a good visit.  Casey is worried about this being on TV later.  George told the media to be compassionate.  They wanted to know what George is gonna ask her, he didn't know what he was gonna say, none of it is scripted and never has been.  Casey says that she just loves that little girl more than anything.  George hopes she is having fun and watching videos and is ok, he hopes who ever has her Dear God, I am not sure I can take another 45 minutes of "Anthony Speak".  I have NEVER heard people talk in such convoluted, ridiculous, terms.  They just go round and round without actually saying anything.  Can you imagine dealing with any of them on a day to day level?  I wonder if it is the RESULT of having to step around Casey every day??

One of my favorite things about all of these videos is that whenever there's an interruption (like another inmate coming through or the end of time warning), the jurors get to clearly see Casey going from crying and carrying on to smiling and laughing at the speed of sound.  LOL!  It's soooooooo obvious. She turns on the tears and turns them off like a light switch. Her boredom with the subject of finding Caylee and the public's efforts, her impatience with her parents' need to discuss their emotions/experience, her incessant need to talk about how hard her life is and how she needs to get out of jail to "help", are all front and center.  These tapes are majorly damaging to Casey's story.  The jury has got to be so angry and disgusted at this point, no doubt. The evidence is what it is.

I agree, however there could be something in her brain that went previously undiagnosed. Brain mapping through EEG, MRI with contrast, MRS, Spect & PET could show if she has a reason for being delusional...which I do NOT believe she has. What I'm getting at is that they can appeal and bring in new medical testing that may work in their favor if even the smallest thing pops up on her cranial slides. They'll warp the meaning to suit their needs. I think she'll get lwop and then an appeal will ensue. They can file appeals until the cows come home, but getting a new trial is a whole different story. To win an appeal there has to be an error in the procedures of law. With her having all the other attorneys although bozo might be disbarred, her overall trial was not put in jeopardy.

My brother saw a few minutes of the tapes and he said bozo evidently had never seen the tapes prior because there was so much he could have had redacted in the tapes if he had filed with the court.

It is like she is stuck in 2 year old mode.  She acts like a self centered 2 year old.  Maybe Caylee had to be done in when she started surpassing Casey in maturity.  After all, they were almost the same size - Caylee was almost as big as her.

“She came into my life unexspectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone and I don’t know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one person that should be thankfull for all of the love and support given to her. No money, no future. Where did she go? Who is now watching out for the little angel?”

Apparently, the defense is going after something  they cant or shouldnt be is more the situation.   It should be obvious that this entire allegation is a farce & it is mystifying watching a few people still giving it any merit.
