Just an observation, but I notice when the slightest criticism had been posted on another site (WS) about Sommer's mother, the whole thread was closed down and locked for a while. JMO

We think alike on that one JessStar!

Maybe the greeter guy Sean was hanging around for supper and not really an actual door greeter.
Who knows maybe he cooked supper, this arrangement of greeter friend and BF with the superman T-shirt gives me the creeps.

What really gives me the creeps, is how her father was looking at her when she was talking at the microphone. Did you see her
fathers eyes and expression?  He looked like he was skeptical about his daughter. That is what makes me curious, no, I do not
think mommy had anything to do with the child's disappearance, being flakey isn't a crime. IMO

I did notice the father....he was like he could barely look at his daughter...it sure caught my attention I just have not said anything.

I didn't say anything until today when I saw the video for third time
I restrain myself for the first few times of hearing or seeing something until something clicks.
The father's facial expressions (to me) he didn't believe his daughter, or,maybe, disappointment because of her life style:(

So do we!

I have too many questions. And these are just for starters. Number one is why is a known sexual offender’s name on the initial report. Number two is, was there or wasn’t there a robbery at Somer’s house and number three is the report of a suspected attempted child abduction that turned out to be an off duty LE a week before Somer was murdered. What has been told, is that the sex offender having his name listed was a mistake and he was nowhere around…….the robbery wasn’t at Somer’s house, it was just a mistake on the address. And the off duty LE was only trying to help the child……I’m not going for all this, something more is going on and nobody is talking………

I was actually the first person that reported this last week. Fortunately I have been a member, reading this site for a year now, and when I heard the news, I immediately posted it. Knowing that all my monkey friends would start sleuthing to help get this solved.

Well, I for one find it very bizare that Sean was staying at the house waiting for the kids to come home. Sean and mom have lunch and then she asks him to hang around?

I am curious if Sean knew the robbers...just thinking out loud.

The "robbers" are all young, 18, 19, 19 and 21.

I seriously doubt they were known by anyone at the Thompson residence.

Just my opinion.

And I also wonder who normally watched the kids after school. And why Diena would ask "family friend" Sean to remain there to watch them when they got home.

maybe the older brother would have been there afterschool to keep an eye on the kids but didn't he have football practice on that day? Maybe Diena didn't have someone on that particular day so she asked Sean to stay for them, which he did...if not the brother, then I wonder if a neighbor or someone looked out for them but couldn't on that day? dunno...good question though of who normally watched the kids after school...if anyone....
All good possibilities, cookie.

I wonder which it is though.

O/T From NG transcript....

GRACE: When they were told that a body had been found, did they know immediately that it was Somer, or were they holding out hope that it was somebody else?

RUKAB: We were definitely holding out hope. We had heard that there were two more in Clay that we

Do we know anything about the other 2? I thought that the sherif said that there had not been anyone missing like this in their county in the past 22 years?

Twocents, since you are very local, what can you tell us about Sean Patton?  Have you seen him around the neighborhood?  Have you seen him with the Thompson children?

My 2 Cents - Nobody missing in Clay county for 22 years. Duval County (Jacksonville) is a different story.

N2WISHIN I live in the neighborhood about 6 doors down. There has been no talk of any robbery.

6 doors down Well, you should have a good idea of what's going down and being said and I'll agree on the public hanging.

ok so please don't shoot me, but I have not seen any tears either. Not that I think Deina had anything to do with it, but no tears. Perhaps people handle things differently. But this is not even my child and as soon as I get there I have tears in my eyes. Tomorrow will be even worse!

I share those and have some more:

1. Was the "family friend" at the vigils? I didn't spot him. When did he leave the home after the police report was taken?

2. The whole "Kyle" thing.

3. The RSO brother of the contractor at the renovation house on Gano.

4. Why no one saw (friends, schoolmates) Somer leave the pack of friends she was last seen with.

5. Why so many "mistakes" being reported on the police report and on the crime log.

And that is just what is on my mind at the moment!

Blink,  I think if I had been robbed at gun point, I would have reported it immediately.  I would not have reported it after my child went missing.  That just doesn't ring a clear bell to me.

I was under the impression that the robbery occurred the night of the first vigil when everyone was out front.  For what ever reason I thought they had tried to rob the house during that time and were arrested.  Strange???  I don't think I read that, just with the timing of everything, I assumed it.

I'm really confused because I thought LE said that the address for the robbery was incorrect and didn't happen at Somer's house.........

That what I read  to been trying to look for the article..

Thanks.

She is the one I think who talked to reporters about Somer having been known to run off resulting in a bit of trouble finding her.

Then the mother said something to the contrary.

My Monkey,

She may be accustomed living on a military base, with a lot of people in the military surroundings.
I looked up Diena Thompson on peoplefinders.com and there were a few military bases  I think Sean
is OK, he just needs a place to hang out because he has had so many hardships is what I read.

That's the girl. That is why it took almost 4 hours to hit the news. They wanted to make sure she did not run off again.
