Its snowing here this morning.   My cats are all sitting in the windows, trying to figure out why white stuff is falling from the sky.

We need to say a little prayer for all the monkeys getting ice.    Looks like some areas are going to get it bad.
Thats not good.
Please do not send it to Florida again either.  Do adults get snow days?

My daughter just called and said she is getting out of work now.   She works for the government.    She's 21, and has never driven in the snow before!

Thanks for responding mytime and mary mary.  I wonder how KC will look for this court appearance since she will have time to do her hair and make-up.  You know last time she hadn't planned on attending but Judge Strickland corrected that little misunderstanding.

I was just wondering that same thing.  Hair all fluffy lots of makeup, forget to button a few upper buttons.  Or will she go for the I am crazy desheveled look?

I think she'll make an appointment at her favorite salon, "Turn Your Head and Coif".

CC ~ you are hilarious!

I am not sure I think Luka is a worse pick than Baez -- it's looking pretty even right now -- I snipped the following from the article yesterday:  His attorney, Tom Luka, said the fact that Lee Anthony has not received a subpoena to testify could signal that the state may be looking to file charges against him. If he was subpoenaed, anything he said at a hearing could not be used against him in subsequent criminal charges.
http://www.wesh.com/news/18565575/detail.html

What kind of subpoena does he think Lee should be served with? -- a subpoena for trial which has not been scheduled yet?  Please -- he knows why Lee may be charged and this is not the reason -- you cannot issue a subpoena to a trial that has no date.
Very interesting and good point.  I know that they are hoping to be subpoenad, as CBB and many other explained in Florida there is a bit of immunity under a subpoena.  If LE is looking to charge him, no way they would ever issue a subpoena regardless of a court date or not.

Oh my.  I do not think I would know what to do if there was snow outside myself.  Maybe check the street signs to be sure I was still in Florida?  I am sorry you all are having to deal with snow.

"Lee Anthony has been working 18-hour days arranging parking areas for the Super Bowl. He also moved home to save money on rent."

18 hour days arranging parking for the Super Bowl?  Well there's a job with future growth potential.  Just make sure he doesn't have access to your trunk.

Now, that is FUNNY!      Good morning all!

  Yes it was.

This is a comment from the article I previously posted about possiby changing trial to Jacksonville.
I know we have few Canadians out there.

sunshine - 1/26/2009 "Change of venue to Jacksonville? Do they think we don't read/watch the news? She's better off having it changed to Alaska or Canada. Any red-blooded American parent will want to see her a** fried!! "

WHERE DO THEY THINK ALASKA IS??????  IN CANADA????
If you want to get technical on the geographic location then yes..but that is funny, last I check Alaska was not a different country.

Public Outcry Prompts Suspension Of Caylee Doll

POSTED: Tuesday, January 27, 2009
UPDATED: 8:53 am EST January 27, 2009

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Jacksonville-based promotions company that says it specializes in creating gifts from current news stories has suspended plans to sell a singing Caylee Anthony doll.

In a press release on the company's Web site, Jaime Salcedo, the president of Showbiz Promotions said:

"It was our intention to begin the sale of the Sunshine Caylee Doll at 12:00 p.m. January 27, 2009. As we mentioned to the media in our press release it was very important that we allow the press to present our idea to the public first, in an effort to measure the reaction to our fund raising efforts. As the story developed we also announced that we would be donating 100% of the profits to charity. However, after reviewing the response to our media introduction of the Sunshine Caylee Doll and listening to the advice of the general public. We feel that is it best to suspend the launch of The Sunshine Caylee Doll.

"While we still feel it is important to raise awareness and raise money to help stop this type of crime from being committed. We feel we can be more effective using more traditional methods.

"We would like to (thank) everyone who made comments or called us to express their opinion."

On Monday, the company listed the doll on its Web site for about $30.

The doll has blond hair, stands 18 inches tall and wears a white T-shirt and blue jeans. The company said it purposely did not create the doll in Caylee's likeness.

The doll plays the song "You Are My Sunshine" when you push its belly button, a song that Caylee was seen singing on a home video released shortly after she was declared missing.

Showbiz Promotions said it has no relation to the Anthony family, and that it would not get involved in the legal aspect of the case against Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony.

Casey Anthony, 22, remains jailed on first-degree murder charges in her daughter's death. Caylee's remains were found last month in a wooded area near the Orange County home where she lived with her mother and grandparents.

Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
