.Investigators said deviant images and pornographic videos and pictures were found on a computer and memory stick confiscated in early January as part of the investigation into the disappearance of 13-year-old Hailey Dunn from Colorado City.

The Dell Inspirion 530 computer contained “approximately 108,498 pictures depicting deviant acts,” according to evidence returned from a search warrant issued from the 32nd District Court in Sweetwater.

The computer was taken from the home of Shawn Adkins’ mother in the 2800 block of Apache Street in Big Spring. Adkins, the former boyfriend of Hailey’s mother Billie Jean Dunn, is the only named suspect in the case.

A memory stick confiscated from a dresser in the master bedroom of the Dunn residence in Colorado City contained “320 images and videos of a pornographic nature.” The search warrants for digital media were issued Jan. 7 by 32nd District Judge Greg Harrison’s office.

I have a question about this and I hope I can make sense of it. Is any kind of porn considered "deviant". What I am trying to ask is, if it is two adults engaging in regular sexual activity is that also considered "deviant" because it is porn in the first place and some people deem any kind of porn "deviant". Or is their a distinction here? In other words, was porn found AND something ELSE much more sinister than porn which would add the word "deviant"? I hope my question makes sense. TIA

Both the computer and the memory stick contain images depicting bestiality and child pornography, said Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs.

Criminal charges could be filed regarding the memory stick found at the Dunn residence, Toombs said.

"We will have to get with the district attorney in Howard County to see if criminal charges are warranted," Toombs said about the images reportedly found on the computer hard drive.

No arrests have been made in the disappearance of Hailey Dunn, who was reported missing Dec. 28.

Clint Dunn, the teen's father, said he does not want to consider Adkins a suspect in the case, but he said if child pornography was found on the computers, he would be concerned.

It has been a long time since I have been to the website, but my phone has been ringing off the hook so I logged in to see what was being said, it made me very sad because you all helped me so much with Amber.


Somel of you are comparing this case to many others out there so lets compare it to my daughter’s case.

For those of you that are new to this site or are not aware of who I am, I am the mother of Amber Dubois.

Amber left home walking to school, my live in boyfriend and father of my youngest daughter, was the last to see her. Dave (boyfriend) changed his whole routine that day, he could not remember which way he drove home from the gym, (at the time Amber would have been walking), he did not go to work (which by the way he never misses work) he told police he stayed home to do his taxes, but never did them , instead he went to a movie. The list can go on but I think you get my point. By the way 8 polygraphs later, LE still could not clear him.

Now to me, I was allegedly the biggest drug dealer in Vista,  I was at the bar everyday getting wasted, and while LE was going through Amber’s room I went and got a tattoo. What kind of mother does that? Oh and don’t forget I was still married to Amber’s father but living with another man and 4 days before Amber went missing I went to court to finalize my divorce.

It was very clear to the world what a dysfunctional life Amber had.

The outcome Amber left for school and a registered SO was driving by and abducted, raped and killed my beautiful little girl and 13 months later killed Chelsea King.

I purchased the hopeforhailey websites and  made them public for a reason and really it is no ones but the parents business.

This website was very helpful when Amber was missing and it is suppose to be about finding Hailey.

Until we find Hailey and have answers,  NO ONE knows what happened.

I had the pleasure of meeting the family,  yes both Mom and Dad and offered any kind of assistance they may need in finding their daughter. Team Amber Rescue was formed to assist Klaaskids and Laura Recovery Center in what ever capacity needed.  I will not comment on their assistance to the Dunn family, but just know that both organizations and the people that run them never once betrayed my family or did anything negative like you are posting on this site.

We need to take all this negative energy here and focus it on finding Hailey.

I watched a Dateline special on the Amber Dubois case.  Carrie is right on in regards to her boyfriend ... her boyfriend who was the last to see Amber alive.  Even the authorities informed Carrie that in all probability her boyfriend was behind her daughter's disappearance.  We all know the outcome.

I hope that last night's revelation will afford both Carrie and Marc another perspective ... a perspective that implies that Shawn .... Billie's boyfriend ... may be behind what happened to Hailey.  Hopefully ... Carrie and Marc's eyes will be opened to the reality that out of a misguided sense of "love" ... Billie has been manipulating Shawn's timeline encompassing his actions and whereabouts on the morning of December 27th in an attempt to distance him from implication and ... place suspicion elsewhere.

I hope there is an arrest soon.  This is horrific.  As soon as that happens, the finger pointing will begin and hopefully more answers regarding Hailey will emerge.  I imagine LE can arrest Billie since the memory stick was in her home, in her bedroom, in her dresser.  And once she's taken in, she will point the finger at SA.  SA could be arrested for the memory stick and do the same thing at Billie.  BUT I'm left wondering about the computer at SA's mother's house...what's he going to do...point the finger at his mom?  His dad? (Is his dad around?...not sure on this)  OR can LE prove that the items on mom's computer are SA's?  If not...who do they arrest at that point?  Someone.  ...the images are there on his mom's computer and it's a crime...

The Laura Recovery Center, KlassKids and Team Amber Rescue stepped up their search by bringing more people, more equipment and more determination this weekend.

Carrie McGonigle told KTXS that the parents need answers. "It's the worst time of their life right now; it's a living nightmare," she said.

McGonigle is the founder of Team Amber Rescue faced a similar situation, when two years ago her daughter was taken. She, too, had a boyfriend who was named a suspect.

McGonigle faced a similar story. "Multiple lie detector tests were given. He didn't pass eight of them, and everything about Hailey's case is the same as my daughters case."

Her daughter's death has now driven McGonigle to travel the nation, helping other parents find their children.

Carrie has a huge heart and is one of the least judgemental people that I know. I have learned so much from her. If you watched John Gardner's sentencing, she even forgave that monster for what he did to her baby.

I believe you are right.  When internet and communication records are considered ... I believe the finger pointing is about to happen and ... when it happens ... justice will prevail for Hailey Dunn.

Currently ... Clint and Billie's refusal to embrace to what the polygraphs and affidavits reveal in regards to Shawn's lies and deception encompassing his actions and whereabouts on the morning of December 27th is mind boggling.  Could it be that it is all about aspects of their respective lifestyle ... aspects that Shawn Adkin is privy to.

Thank goodness LE timed this leak of information before BD was allowed to go to the conference.  My understanding was that Clint wanted Billie to go in order to "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer" and to try to get some distance between her and SA.  I for one don't think BD will spill on SA, but I do think SA will undoubtedly save himself if given the chance.

I totally agree with every compliment and show of support for Carrie, unfortunately Billie & her psycho boo are a very far cry different than she is...I mean to the absolute opposite extreme...its like putting an angel and the devil's sister together.  I also have to say without prejudice or criticism that the two cases are not as alike.   I admire Carrie's willingness to support Billie despite what has been obvious to everyone & o my goodness the strength to forgive her child's murderer in the face of what I imagine had to be rage & pain we could not understand totally but I hope she and MK distance themselves from these two pirhannas of society.   They can support searching for Hailey without supporting Billie & Shawn as well as expend their energy on various other cases.

The computer was voluntarily handed over to the police on Dec 30th. When Christine called le on the 5th to inform she was on her way to pick it up, they submitted it into evidence. They then got their warrants in order. The police HAD to have known something was on that computer by then bc the affidavit to obtain electronics from Billie's home was signed by the judge on January 6th - the very next day after Christine wanted to pick up her computer! So, they (le) knew there's downloads & saved external data taken from that computer based on the data from the computer's harddrive! Why else would they have put into the affidavit those specific various electronic devices? Each data download leaves a footprint/fingerprint. Everything you do electronically leaves a fingerprint of sorts. A computer expert can tell the exact device something was downloaded onto or uploaded from when searching harddrives, be it a cell, digital camera, portable flash and/or memory stick, the list goes on. Some people think by saving something to a portable harddrive or memory stick that it won't be saved on the computer's harddrive - this is not true. LE knew in specific what they were looking for when they went to search Billie's house. I ask you Klaas, could don't you find it kinda crazy that Christine called the cops to let them know she's coming to retrieve her computer after she voluntarily gave it to them...and in light of Hailey's disappearance? Is this normal for a mother to run to protect her son like this? I mean, we see it on a daily basis - look at Ron Cumming, Joran Van derSloot, etc. Could she have foreseen this? I sure hope not!

I forgot to mention that I was also part of the group who posted on FB 911Traffick site requesting that they reconsider having Billie Dunn as part of their rally based on what has been released by the LE.

I'm very glad they have listened and are reconsidering.     But the Billie Dunn supporters are trying to paint this as a slam to getting Hailey's name out.    Do they really think that only Billie Dunn can speak for Hailey?    Maybe her grandmother and Aunt should go!
