I am shocked, and I shouldn't be.  We knew, and they knew, and it has now cost a young woman her life.  I hope some street gang finds him and takes the law into their own hands.

It is reported he left Aruba on May 14th but nobody is saying why he left.

I really hope Peru and Chili have more aggressive LE tactics then we do here.  A shoot first and ask questions later would work for me...as long as they aim for his "little friend".  Then a few hours of creative interrogating to make him tell what happened to Natalie would be a cherry on top.

According to HLN - he was with Stephany in the casino - they went back to his room around 5 AM sunday and he was in the room about 4 hours.

Warrant out for his arrest.

I have HLN on - that's an accurate summary of what they reported.

That SOB----It was just a matter of time before he did this.  5 years to the day is it?  I just read it on Fox news.  Now we know how he killed Natalee also.  They have a habit of repeating themselves..  He is sick. 

It`s almost like he had to relive it again, for the thrill. 

This sounds like it will be the last time he gets to do that.

Hopefully, Nat`s family will finally get what they have been begging Aruban authorities to do for 5 years, now.

Joran van der Sloot, the Dutch man once considered a suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway, is the suspect in the killing of a woman in Peru, Peruvian police officials said Wednesday.

There is "incriminating evidence" linking Van der Sloot to the killing of 21-year-old Stephany Flores Ramirez,who was found dead in a Lima hotel room Wednesday, Cesar Guardia Vasquez, of the criminal investigations unit said at a news conference.

The hotel room where Flores was found was registered in Van der Sloot's name, he said.

A hotel guest and an employee witnessed the pair entering the hotel room together at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Guardia said.

Police have video of the previous night, May 29, of Van de Sloot and Flores together at the Atlantic City Casino in Lima, he said.

According to immigration officials, Van de Sloot fled to Chile over land on Monday, Guardia said

I hope Joran realizes he is not in Kansas--er, Aruba any more.  There may be a higher price oin his head right now than anything Interpol will do to him.  Smart money is on surrender as quickly as you can Joran.  This girl's father is not going to let you get away this time and has the clout locally, not YOU!

I hope there is no way he is able to make his way back to aruba...........someone please find him first...this young woman did NOT have to die....I hope another young woman doesn't  die before he is stopped

(June 2) -- Officials in Peru are calling Joran van der Sloot, a longtime suspect in the disappearance of 18-year-old Natalee Holloway, the prime suspect in the brutal stabbing death of a 21-year-old woman in Lima.

Peruvian newspaper El Comercio reports that Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez was found dead inside a room at the hotel Tac in the Miraflores district this morning. The woman had been stabbed and wrapped in a blanket.

Family members of the victim say she was last seen with van der Sloot at a local casino. The hotel room in which her body was found was also reportedly registered in van der Sloot's name.

The International Criminal Police Organization has issued an arrest warrant for van der Sloot; however, ABC News is reporting that he has already left the country and is believed to be en route to Argentina.

This latest news comes just three days after the anniversary of Holloway's unsolved disappearance.

Holloway, from Mountain Brook, Ala., disappeared May 30, 2005, while on a trip to Aruba to celebrate her high school graduation. Her body has never been found.

Holloway's classmates said they last saw her leaving an Oranjestad nightclub called Carlos 'n Charlie's with van der Sloot, then a 17-year-old Dutch honors student living in Aruba, and his two friends, Surinamese brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. All three were arrested, but they were released without charge.

From the outset, van der Sloot allegedly has made multiple confessions in the case, each varying significantly. As a result, Aruban prosecutors have deemed them a mixture of "lies and fantasy" and have decided not to take action against him.

Holloway's family has not yet commented on today's developments.
