Well, let me know if you seek employment in the "crier" field. I'll make you a sleepshirt and give you a candle!

Awwwwwww, just the fact that you offered to tuck me in is enough, Bearly! It's been a long, long time since I've been "tucked" and it sounds wonderful!  Have a great night/morning and hopefully we can schedule the next "get together" a little earlier soon! Night, hon!

HH? The picture is an attachment.............. I can remove it, but I can't save it to resize! I'm leaving it so everyone can at least see the pup (a little at a time  ), but if you'll email it to me, then I'll be glad to resize it and post it for you, OK? Pictures always end up being huge if they aren't resized before posting them. Believe me, you are not the first poster to discover that!

Thank you GE!    I'm quirky about things I dread but are inevitable. I just ignore them until I HAVE to face it, and then get through it one step at a time. His ACL is completely torn in two in both legs and his knee caps need cleaning up from prior surgeries. They can only do one at a time and the recovery is a year long ordeal for each. He had a choice to use a cadaver tendon for the repair, or his own. He chose his own even though the level of pain is higher. The ultimate outcome is somewhat better with that choice.

He's having the surgery in Oak Ridge (about 100 miles Soutwest of me) next week. Right now I couldn't even tell you what day (Tuesday, I think, but when I say I ignore stuff like this, I mean I IGNORE it!) He'll remind me the day before, and we'll head out early the next morning. I started reading an article about the procedure, and got so far as to read about the groove in the bone they'd drill to lay the tendon in and stopped. I know everything I need to know. I know he's in constant pain now and really limited in what he can do daily. He needs to have it done. I know that there isn't anything possible that can help him get through it, that I won't get for him or do. I know that beyond that, it's out of my hands, and I've put it in God's.

I hope he and his Father relish those football memories the rest of their lives, because he's sure paying a price for it now.

Oh CBB, that sounds so painful! I pray he gets through this quickly. I'm the same way, I ignore stuff like that to the last minute until I absolutely have to face it. I think it helps me deal with it. As for reading about the procedure, I'm of this mind, if I wanted to be a Doctor, I would have studied for it. I can't handle the details, needles or blood. I don't want to know b/c I can't get the visual out of my head. Some find it interesting, me, I just can't handle it. God bless you for giving it a shot. Speaking of shot, how's the ex doing?
