Well, that Judge Perry would ever have made KC pay the entire amount of expense was too much of a long-shot because this hadn't been done before.  At least this way, IMO, even if the defense team fights the ruling, it won't be overturned.  Perry lowered the amount so much that it'll never be constued as unreasonable and won't be overturned.

Let's see now - KC owes almost $100K to the State of Florida and $70K to the IRS - and that's after-tax dollars, too.

I didn't watch Dr. Phil; however, I did watch the "clips" from the show on JVM, NG and Dr. Drew.

One thing sticks in my mind and is exactly what I expected of Cindy was the "smirk" of a look she gave Dr. Phil when he confronted her about he thought she WAS trying to make excuses and that she had to understand that there a millions of people who want to shake her awake. 

That smirky look is the true Cindy.  You could tell he wanted to jump Dr. Phil, but she held her mouth for once because, after all, money speaks and she was getting plenty of money from Dr. Phil and it told her to keep quiet for a few minutes.

But that look - reminded me of how she looked during the deposition in the Zenaida civil suit.

Just saw the headline on the news.  I see KC gets a slap on the wrist for the costs of her lies.  Judge Perry makes me sick.

Casey Anthony: Judge says Casey should pay more than $97K toward investigation costs

A judge has ruled that Casey Anthony should be responsible for paying more than $97,000 toward the costs associated with the investigation into her missing daughter.

Judge Belvin Perry issued the ruling today. The amount is less than one-fifth of what prosecutors sought.

Anthony, who was acquitted of murder in July, has been ordered to pay the following:

•$61,505.12 to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement

•$10,283.90 to the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation

•$25,837.96 to the Orange County Sheriff's Office

•$50 to the State Attorney's Office.

The total comes to $97,676.98.

Well JP surprised me about ordering her to pay that amount, but in truth hes up for re-election this yr or next whenever it is. And he knows the people are not pleased with him on this case.

I wouldnt vote for him not now after the real JP showed his face before, during and after trial. I am still hoping someone will investigate all parties and find some loop hole to retry her on murder charges or other charges that will put her in prison for yrs and Cindy right there with her.

But I agree wont be surprised to see GA and CA divorced within a year.

Everyone, including, George, Cindy, Dr. Phil, and TV analysts, will only go so far as alluding to Casey killing Caylee secondary to either an accident, or an abusive or negligent act, that unintentionally resulted in Caylee’s death. Why is this?

If we step back and look objectively at all of the evidence, as well as at the totality of the discovery; it is obvious that Caylee’s death was an intentional homicide. 1st degree murder. Caylee’s death not only wasn’t an accident, it also wasn’t the result of too much sedation.

I don’t believe she was angry with Cindy, as much as she was simply, like many wild, spoiled, and immature 22 year olds, overwhelmed with yearning to be away from her parents. She wanted independence, but didn’t know how, or wasn’t willing to get it in the traditional sense of education and working hard.

Tony was Casey’s salvation. He was a college boy. He had his own apartment. He liked her….a lot. Casey was ready to play house for a while.

But, Casey couldn’t be with Tony because George and Cindy demanded that Casey be home at night, with Caylee. What to do? Tony, interested in only one thing, not only wasn’t encouraging Casey to bring Caylee over, but was actually discouraging it.

Casey wasn’t angry over the family fight on the evening of June 15th. There had been too many in the past. But, she had a problem. Her parents were angry now, and not willing to babysit in order for Casey to play. Casey desperately wanted to stay at Tony’s. Because of Caylee, she had never been able to spend the night there. Tony was putting pressure on her.

The two pillow talked until 3am on June 16th. No, Casey wasn’t upset about any family fight; she was simply overwhelmed with the desire to be with Tony, and have some degree of independence. Has this ever been done?  finding some loop hole or jury tampering etc.?  If they did find that would they move forward or feel like people would think they were "spiteful"?  Me?  I'd charge her for everything from littering, to indecent exposure, to child abuse oh and if I could I'd arrest her for those smirks during the trial.  I can honestly say I hate that murderer.

According to the order, Anthony may have to pay more money to the Orange County Sheriff's Office. Perry asked to receive more detailed expense reports from the agency by 4 p.m. Monday.

One of Anthony's attorneys, Cheney Mason, had not yet seen the order Thursday afternoon, but commented on the matter to reporters.

"Oh, is that all? That's good," Mason said.

He said he cannot say if Anthony's team plans to fight the order or what will happen next.

"I think the judge did what he should do, look at the case, look at what was spent, the costs of counts she was convicted, and assessed her for it. The statute allows for that," Mason said.

Local 6 legal analyst Mark O'Mara said the price tag is fairly steep.

"That's very unusual, a very high amount. Normally these cases get prosecuted and are assessed at the minimum amount, $50 for a misdemeanor, $100 for a felony," O'Mara said.

The order does not issue Anthony a deadline to repay the expenses, but she will have to pay whenever she begins to earn money.

It was Dr. Phil‘s highest-rated season premiere in 7 years, up 92% from last season’s opener. Dr. Phil led the syndicated talk show pack yesterday, including Regis & Kelly (2.7/10), Dr. Oz (2.5/7), Ellen (2.3/6) and Maury (1.6/5).

Hopefully after the interviews Dr Phil's ratings will go back down 92%. All we can do is hope. I would love to see some charges come after the "cameo" of the A's. Come on FBI charge them with something!

Lovely, and this is why I hate this country.  All these people all over the net were screaming boycott Phil.  Turns out all the curious people only peeking or whatever peaked his ratings, showed Caylee her death does not matter, and that it is okay to lie and be paid for murder.  Hardly nobody stands on principles any more.

Her brother Rick and her had an ongoing dialogue via e-mail where the brother that anyone can look up where the brother calls her out on numerous lies. Even the lie that she helped Casey cover up that she graduated high school.

And so we have lies going back and lies going back and likes going back, where there is a pattern here. Now I`m not saying she`s a mean, hateful, destructive sociopathic person in a sense of like a Casey. What I am saying there is a pattern that goes beyond enabling, where this woman`s ego is so fragile that the mere thought that her daughter committed this act would shatter her.

GRACE: OK, Dr. Seppinni, you`re right and I`m wrong on that. When you lay it out for me like that, yes, Cindy did cover for years. And see, I still -- because I`ve met Cindy and George Anthony. And I`ve watched them in court crying. Like somebody yanked their heart out of their chest during all of this.

It`s just hard for me to say she`s a liar because I really feel that they`re trying so hard to just hold onto their sanity and hold their family together. That doesn`t excuse it. I know. I know. You`re right.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Holly Hughes, criminal defense attorney, you watched this trial moment by moment, I think that Cindy is very emboldened by the "not guilty" verdict to say, hey, do not pin anything on my daughter. And in a sense, she does have a point that the jury found her daughter not guilty on all counts, even though most people in America think the jury got it completely wrong, myself, included.

HOLLY HUGHES, CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Right, Jane. We see this with a lot of criminals. You know, just because a jury finds you not guilty doesn`t mean you`re innocent. And one of the jurors actually said that, Jane, in the interview said, "You know, just because we couldn`t find something to convict her of does not mean we think she`s innocent." So, even the jury had a hard time letting her go. They did what they thought was right.

But let`s back up a second, Jane. Do you remember -- I mean, you and I watched every second of this trial together. The defense, themselves, made such a big to do about how when a pet in the Anthony family died, they had a funeral for then pet. And then Cindy`s going to go on national TV and say, it`s ok that my daughter dumped my granddaughter in the woods, because, poof, the soul is gone anyway. When they memorialized the pet, wrapped them up all special and had a big funeral for them. Unbelievable.

I did not watch the interview but I did see a snippet last night, where CA said she was an "awesome mother". 

How was KC an awesome mother?   I hear she was a good mother, how?  No one has said how she is a good mother.

I have not seen one photo of KC teaching the baby how to eat, how to swim, walk or crawl.

She was a good photographer, maybe, but how on earth was she a "good mother"?

“The big question now is how is Casey Anthony going to pay,” said Dave D’Marko of Central Florida News 13. “She says that she does not have a job.”

D’Marko highlighted that Perry’s decision did not include a payment plan or a timeline. Anthony is serving a year’s probation somewhere in Florida for check fraud.

WFTV-Channel 9’s Steve Barrett reminded viewers, “Casey Anthony has been declared indigent, and her attorneys have repeatedly said she has no money and is currently living off the charity of others. Many expected Casey to cash in quickly after the trial, but there’s no known income source for her yet and she’s not even required to have a job during her probation because of safety concerns.”

WOFL-Channel 35’s Cale Ramaker noted that the state attorney’s office, which “tried Casey for first-degree murder and lost, gets just $50.”  The Florida Department of Law Enforcement gets $61,500, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office gets $25,800, and the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation gets $10,200.

Ramaker also highlighted that “Perry did say some of the investigative work from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office was not properly broken down, so he’s given them until Monday afternoon to submit those cost breakdowns.” The upshot: The sheriff’s office could be getting more money.

WKMG-Channel 6’s Mike DeForest explained that the amount that Anthony must pay is unusual. “Your typical criminal defendant, according to attorneys, they’ve got to pay $100, $150 in investigative costs,” DeForest said. “This is definitely an unusual amount.”

The time was approaching that Caylee would need more than the nice toys George and Cindy bought her.  At the age of almost three, little Caylee should have been having play dates and going to story time at the library and be among other children, and not being set in front of toys at home day after day to play by herself, or being put in bed with Casey and her latest boyfriend at night.  If Casey was such an "awesome mother", why did Cindy have to beg and threaten Casey to get her butt home and look after her?
JMHO  Look at the company Casey kept.  Had she befriended any other young mothers with children?

ITA Muffy...Casey was living the single lifestyle while letting Caylee hang out with her.  She didn't parent Caylee..she let her hang out with her when she felt she had to..

Cindy needs to read her Bible.  God wouldn't let someone just go free.  He will, however, remove His hand from their lives and give them over to their reprobate mind.  Is he doing this with KC?  I don't know the mind of God, but I do know that He is just and His vengeance is eternal. 

I'm in total agreement here.  We never saw any pictures of Caylee with other children, did we?  I have tons of photos of my kids with their friends and cousins, even at very young ages.  Just from the activity on Casey's phone and computer shows that she paid little or no attention to Caylee when she was alone.
Cindy reminds me of Dustin Hoffman in "Rainman"...her mantra of "Casey was an excellent mother" is something I think she repeats over and over again to convince herself it was true.  Awesome or excellent mothers are not usually characterized as unfit by their own mothers, or threatened with suing for child custody.  But in Smirky Mcsmirkypants world, I guess that defines a "good" mother.  Delusions 'R Us must have a sale on logic and ol' Smirky bought out the store.

After Casey Anthony was released from prison, her attorney, Jose Baez, said she would seek psychological treatment.

Now, a source close to Anthony tells PEOPLE exclusively that the Florida woman has been seeing a grief counselor – and will soon start seeing a female psychiatrist.

By the way, I just rewatched the Larry King interview with George and Cindy, (where George is mercifully silent,) and Cindy hammers home the line about how many tipsters have come up with credible sightings of Caylee.  Tennessee, California, Florida...This is right before the remains of Caylee were found.  Cindy is so ridiculous.  She says, people in this type of situation will do one of several things, then she names two.  One, "they will go into a recluse and withdraw".  Okay, how is that possible? A recluse is a person, not a convent or monastery.  She is just like Casey,ignorant and ill educated, but trying to pretend that she is superior to others she by using words incorrectly.  I'm reading a book called "The Sociopath Next Door" by Martha Stout, and the descriptions match Cindy, as well as Casey.
One of them was knowing you aren't as smart or well liked as others, you work in a position where you have control over others, low level managers being one example.  Having no conscience is an irreversible character flaw, one that Cindy may have passed on to Casey.  I don't know if it's genetic or modeled behavior, but I'll bet psychiatrists would have a field day with the two of them.

Hi Monks.  yes, I watched the second part of the interview and it made me realize how truly SICK CA is.  She is as sick as KC. She was KC's teacher. I don't have to go over the crazy statements, you already know them. But to SEE her say those things brings them into a totally different light. To watch her eyes....frankly it's scary! To say she is in denial is BS...she is not in denial...she completely understands what KC did...her statements proved it to me. She KNOWS KC killed Caylee...but she doesn't know how...she knows KC threw Caylee in the swamp like trash.....I have no doubt in my mind that IF KC called her and said she wanted to come home, CA would welcome her with open arms and kick GA out.

As far a JB being in the Aruba case....hahahahahaha....he is suppose to be their forensic expert...LOL...he is more or less a consultant!  Boy are they in trouble!

A week earlier Drew Kesse came out swinging. He called the Anthony’s “a disgrace and an insult to every missing person and their families,” and Dr. Phil “a pimp for (airing) this garbage”. I was looking forward to supporting Drew’s position on the program, but alas the opportunity was never presented. Therefore, I’d like to take a moment to explain why Drew is right, why Dr. Phil is wrong, and why the Anthony’s have outstayed their welcome.

This was a great article and I'm sorry that Mr. Kesse wasn't given more of an opportunity to render his opinion of the Anthonys.  It is true that "The Anthonys wouldn't know the truth if it kicked them in the butt."  Well, the truth has been kicking them in their butts for three years.  The only reaction from them is wondering why their butts are so sore.

I think she should have to pay for her attorney's fees also since they were all in on the  scheme!!!

I didn't watch either interview!!  I didn't even watch the clips on other networks.  I got my information from here and other places. 
 
I'm wondering if asking those to not watch on my FB page peeked their curiosity to watch. 

I didn't either.  Even with my yearning curiosity, I held true to my belief that if we the people watch this nonsense then we allow a new line to be drawn in regards to the media (and all the others) making money off of a murdered child.  Now that they see the approval of society (we approve that by giving high ratings to this interview) in interviewing the grandparents (the very people that we KNOW lied to get their daughter off) they will assume that we will give the approval of skank too.  From all of the people that I heard were not watching the show the ratings should have been low...guess people couldn't hold out.  No need to watch it immediately...it is plastered all over the internet...we can watch it anytime.  I just feel strongly that we shouldn't have given them the ratings.  Says bad things about America.  This is only my belief and not meant toward anyone here that decided to watch.

Hello monkeys!  Personally, I don't believe one word of it.  I think this is all part of a plan to "try" to rehabilitate her image.  Which will fail.  No way will Casey participate in any sort of therapy.  She does not think there is anything wrong with her.

Sighting of the CRETINS

My wife just came home and told me she had run into the "Cretins Anthony" in the grocery store. She said that she first spotted them in the dairy section where CA picked up chocolate milk. They appeared sad and did not make eye contact or speak with anyone. My wife happened to be in their vicinity throughout their shopping visit, but not by choice. Ya know how you go shopping and you keep running into the same people down every isle.
Well the end result was, ca got chocolate milk and ga had 1 item of unknown contents. (she was not paying attention to them) What she was paying attention to was the other people's response.
Nobody spoke to them, but followed them wherever the went. There was a little child who only watched every move they made. What does that say?
OH, the checkout clerk said nothing and again, only watched as they left the store.(prolly saying,,,,,,,,,,,,good riddence)

Don't know if it'good.or bad, but I was supposed to be with her on this trip.
Had I been there, no telling what would have come out of my mouth.

Well, I held out and did not watch Dr. Phil. Saw some clips and read here. I could see Dr. Phil on the time shift channel, but chose not to.
I agree that Casey had help and I think it was Cindy, had that thought for about two years now. 
Look at all the covering up she did, like an accomplice.
She still trying to make excuses and cover it up.
I think Casey was born ok, all childen are, and then Cindy F'd her up. Probably the personality disorder was there, ignored and Casey's behaviour was the elephant in the room.
Cindy & George have paid the ultimate price. If they would just SHUT UP and try to live the rest of their lives QUIETLY, I might feel some sympathy for them, but I don't.
The selling of Caylee also gets to me.
As far as their " foundation " goes, well it would be like a foundation for alcoholics, run by practising alcoholics (who are still drinking).
Can't help anyone until they have their own issues sorted and that isn't going to happen. Maybe Dr. Phil's money would be served better by giving it to a " foundation " that could eradicate Cindy.

I just found this link on twitter.  If you download the chapter of this book, it discusses sealed evidence in the case that has not yet been released to the public.  This evidence consists of photos of Caylee and the implication is that child porn could be involved and those photos are still sealed because the FBI has not yet completed their investigation. I don't want to think of that sweet child being abused and exploited in that way.  But if Casey was involved in that, I sure do hope the Feds get enough evidence to throw the book at her...in fact, just thinking about it makes me want to throw a whole stack of books at her!  ::boxingcasey2::

Hoping after this triggered a memory, I hope a smart monkey can help me with this. I remember ( and think I bookmarked) a utube video of Caylee sitting in a high chair being videotaped which made me soooo uncomfortable. For some time, that poor baby was being taped, with the person taping never, talking to her, never saying a word, except for 2 quiet words which some speculated sounded like " I kill". The tape goes on and on, and nothing is said to that poor baby. Can anyone shed light on this for me? There was also speculation as to whether part of the video zero's in on little Caylee's crotch area? I remember how much it bothered me, the silence is defening as that poor child was clearing trying to interact with whoever was there videotaping? Do you remember this, or should I try and find that link again. WHY was that videotape made of little Caylee, and why was the videotaper trying so hard to hide who they were. Since I saw that tape, I definately believe there's alot more to this sick story, and only the surface was scratched. I hope the FBI pursues these sickos!

I remember that vid.  The person taping never interacted with Caylee even though she was trying to get the person to acknowledge her.  Even when the camera went under the tray of her chair, she leaned over to look for the person.  It was very strange.

have you seen those movies where the serial killer is "pretending" to be the kids friend and you know the child is doomed?  that's how this video makes me feel.  I'm surprised this "thing" is still walking around & someone with less morals then we have hasn't done something to her.  I'm convinced if she would have been found guilty the prison "code" concerning killing kids would have done her in.  I absolutely DESPISE her!

  Still wondering if this was among pictures etc sealed? Why wasn't it entered into evidence, not because of what the voice says, but the complete disconnect between the videographer and Caylee. My God, she seems sooooo lonely/alone sitting there, with no interaction. I still believe no one in that family loved little Caylee as a beautiful little girl she was, but rather she was the tool for Cindy and Casey to hurt, lie, and cover for each other. It's still my belief that poor child lived her life being used and abused, as in a tit for tat between the pschos, and she paid the final ultimate price as such. I don't think I'll ever get over the hatred and anger I feel at those animals. That video says so much to me about what was really going on.

I just don't get how someone can go that long without responding to a child.

Thanks for finding and posting that.  Jeff would  know and I am glad to learn that isn't true.  Although, I still hope and pray the FBI can find a reason to go after Casey.  I'm anxious to read Jeff's book as I believe he wants the truth to be told.  He was unable to get justice for Caylee in court, so I think his book is his way of doing it now. And I love the fact that he is getting his book out before KC or any of the A's or their attorneys put one out.

Jim Lichtenstein Right when you walk in the door is the (i guess it's light pink) leather sofa that the most famous Caylee picture was taken. Cindy, months later, told me she took it while Caylee was resting her head on her hand while watching TV. Her eyes were huge in it. Adorable.

I use the zillow site several times a week.   Almost everyone's home is listed with estimates of value...unless it says rental or for sale, it is just a site to help with comps....just like trulia and eppraisal.   Mostly there are areal shots of the homes unless they are for sale...

Yep.  I've seen my home and rental properties on zillow, and they aren't for sale.  A site I like to use to look at houses for rent, sale or recently sold is trulia.com.

Walters asked about George Anthony’s comments to Dr. Phil McGraw that Casey Anthony was at the crime scene and was responsible for Caylee’s death. The last part of George and Cindy Anthony’s interview on “Dr. Phil” airs at 3 p.m. today on WOFL-Channel 35.

“I think it’s preposterous, and it certainly doesn’t surprise me that he’s making these statements now,” Baez said of George. “His recent claim that Casey and someone else may have drugged Caylee —  is sad that he would say something like that. Caylee died on a Monday afternoon. His theory is that someone drugged her to go out and party. If you live in Orlando, you know there’s not very many parties on a Monday afternoon. All they did that evening was go out and rend a video. It makes no sense.”

What’s going on with Casey?

“She’s currently in therapy, doing her best to adjust to the last three years of her life,” Baez said.

“You’re always welcome on this program,” Walters told Baez. Walters also told Baez that Giordano was lucky to have him as an attorney.

Casey didn't want to go out that night..she wanted to stay at Tony's and bang him all night and the next day and Caylee would have been a distraction. Tony liked Caylee but he didn't want her around all the time. they had only been dating for a short time and were still very much in the lusting stage. that is all he wanted at that time. not to be an instant daddy. Not to take anything away from Tony. He seemed like a nice young man, but at his age, he was still in the partying lifestyle. jmo...

So were any of the other women involved in this interview?  I just can't see Joy or Whoopi sitting there kissing up to Bozo.

Some “gets” remain ungotten. Former International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn and Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., haven’t spoken to the media since resigning from their respective jobs amid allegations of sexual misconduct. They’re in high demand.

But the real prizes, morning TV bookers say, are two infamous women: Amanda Knox, the young American who is appealing her conviction in Italy for the sexual assault and murder of a British woman, and Casey Anthony herself. Neither has committed to doing an interview.

If they do, you can bet a few bookers, and probably a lot of them, will be knocking on their doors.

Baez called the Anthony jury “very brave” and said it was a shame that the jury had been forced into hiding. “I labor for the system, and without a strong defense, without a committed defense lawyer, it doesn’t work,” Baez said.

The 31 days Casey Anthony waited before reporting her daughter "missing" to authorities was not enough to convict her of child abuse.

But now, a new bill in the Florida Senate could change that.

A special state Senate committee on protecting children met for the first time Monday afternoon to review the proposed "Caylee's Law."

Rep. Scott Plakon, R-Longwood, first introduced Caylee's Law just days after Casey was acquitted of her daughter's murder.

"I think what everyone agrees on is that it is absolutely wrong for someone to, for 31 days, prance around and party when their child is deceased or missing," he said in July.

Cindy Anthony revealed on “Dr. Phil” that defense attorney Jose Baez told her, shortly before Casey Anthony’s murder trial, that Caylee had drowned.

“He proceeds to tell me that Casey wanted me to know how Caylee died,” Cindy told Dr. Phil McGraw of a private meeting she had with the attorney. “When he told me that Caylee had drowned in the pool and Casey had panicked. My immediate reaction was relief for Caylee, because I know she didn’t suffer at that point. …  Then I couldn’t believe that my daughter put us all through this and that she ruined her life.”

Cindy Anthony told “Dr. Phil” that it’s not a good idea for Casey to have another child until it’s clear what’s wrong with the young woman.

Yet Cindy said she would feel comfortable with Casey baby-sitting another Anthony grandchild. Casey was acquitted in July of murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

McGraw called the Anthony outcome ”the verdict that shocked the nation.”

As the three-part interview concluded, the couple talked about a foundation they had set up in Caylee’s name. “We have a chance to make a difference,” George said.

McGraw praised the couple. “I think you’ve gotten to tell the story that you didn’t get to tell in the trial,” McGraw said. “You’ve certainly been candid and honest.”

This session covered the trial and the truths behind the scenes as to what most likely was the reason behind the “not guilty” verdict Jose Baez was able to secure for Casey. Cindy talked about how she was informed that Caylee had drowned in an individual meeting with Baez to which George stated he felt the entire family was manipulated by the defense team as well as an enormous amount of misinformation fed to the jury. Cindy believes the jurors did not really head a lot of that misinformation but it begs the question as to whether or not the jury was actually duped by the defense because the prosecution did such a horrendous job of countering allegations as well as being unprepared with absolutely iron clad evidence before proceeding to trial in addition to inappropriately providing variations to charges for which Casey may have actually been able to be found guilty of. One of these is failure to report a child missing, harmed, or deceased which prompted the interested in developing Caylee’s Law which was talked about briefly by Dr. Phil and the Anthony’s at the end of the show.

George said he doubts he'll ever reconcile with Casey.

"If Cindy and Lee have a relationship with Casey, that's great. I don't think I can have that relationship again with my daughter," George said.

Dr. Phil also brought up the bombshell allegations that George sexually molested Casey. George reaffirmed that he had never molested Casey or touched her inappropriately. Cindy said she believed her husband.
As for whether Cindy perjured herself on the stand when she testified she had searched "chloroform" on the family's computer, Cindy stood by her testimony.

"On Caylee's name, the one person in the world who's dearest to my heart, I would swear I made a chloroform search," Cindy said.

George said that he was disappointed in the jury's decision. He wanted her to be found guilty of one of the charges, not the death penalty, but to be punished.  He still feels that Casey needs to be held accountable for Caylee's death..Cindy does not..she was elated at the jury decision.

It's offensive the way Cindy talks to the public as if we are totally stupid.  Pathetic skank swore on Caylee's name.  I didn't think I could like her less.  They are also now apparently trying to make it look like Caylee's Law was their idea.  Karma is coming.

Casey Anthony's father shook in disbelief when he realized that his daughter was about to be acquitted of any role in the death of his granddaughter, Caylee.

George Anthony said on the "Dr. Phil" show today that he was disappointed by the verdict in his daughter's murder trial.

"I remember I started to shake..I got this deepness feeling in my heart... Then the second charge came through not guilty. I'm like, ok, she'll be in jail for a while" for her role in Caylee's death.

"Then the third one came through for aggravated child abuse [and] nothing... I'm like, oh my God, my daughter is going to walk out of here and I'm never going to know about Caylee," George Anthony told Phil McGraw.

The emotionally fraught issue, poised to be in the legislative spotlight, is being examined by a special Senate panel in advance of the session that starts in January. At its first meeting Monday, lawmakers studied whether existing laws already offer ways to punish parents for not reporting missing children.

"In my view, the committee is not here to second-guess the jury," said Sen. Joe Negron, R-Stuart, chair of the Select Committee on Protecting Florida's Children. "They rendered what they believe was a fair and just verdict and.I believe their efforts should be respected."

Negron said the committee's duty was to figure out if the law was even needed.

Lawmakers are wary of repeating possible missteps made with the Jessica Lunsford Act, a law passed quickly in 2005 after the abduction and killing of nine-year-old Lunsford by a registered sex offender. That law prompted much stricter monitoring and registration of sex offenders.

But the law has also led to some unintended consequences, such as severe restrictions on where sex offenders can live that left dozens of Miami sex offenders with no place to live but under the Julia Tuttle Causeway.

Negron pointed out that an existing state law on child neglect that prohibits the "failure or omission" to care for a child's physical and mental health could have been used against Casey Anthony but prosecutors elected not to.

Anthony was not charged with child neglect, Negron said, and said prosecutors probably did that for "valid reasons."

"Before we start talking about new laws, I want to look at the laws we have," Negron said.

I know that Casey is Sindy's daughter.  I get it.  BUT how can a woman welcome someone back into their lives who

• killed her granddaughter
• made horrible false allegations against her husband

• stole from her grandmother /Sindy's own mother
• created a fantasy life & lied about job & whereabouts for years

Cindy Anthony says the defense wrongly used her husband as a "fall guy," and that Casey Anthony would have been found not guilty regardless of the defense's allegations about her husband.

George Anthony, however, wanted a different outcome for his daughter. He said he wanted the jury to find her guilty of at least one felony charge to hold her responsible for Caylee's death and to hopefully get some answers about what really happened to Caylee.

Cindy and George Anthony did agree on one thing, they both firmly deny that George Anthony ever molested their daughter.

Cindy Anthony cited the fact that Casey Anthony often left Caylee alone with her father.

The Anthonys also agreed that Casey Anthony's relationship with her father was likely damaged beyond repair.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Wow. Casey a baby-sitter. I have to say, to me it sounds like something out after horror movie, Robi Ludwig, psychotherapist. Is this just more denial -- is this dangerous denial? When does denial become a danger?

ROBI LUDWIG, PSYCHOTHERAPIST: Well, you know, I also wonder if this is part of what contributed to Casey`s problem. She had a mother who continued to make excuses for her, and she didn`t get the treatment that she could have used perhaps earlier on.

But clearly, Cindy is in denial. She`s feeling a lot of guilt. She`s making a lot of excuses, and she`s very invested in believing her daughter is not a danger to a child or to any other member of society. I`m not so convinced about that, I have to say.

PAGE: I agree with you. I also think that, you know, Cindy Anthony broke down on the stand during the trial when she testified for the prosecution. A lot of people started feeling sorry for her. Then we see her take the stand and lie for her daughter saying that she searched that chloroform search when she didn`t. She was at work.

Now we have her on Dr. Phil with more lies after more lies about a brain tumor, about the drowning. We even have her saying she wants Casey Anthony to be a mother, which is an astonishing statement to make when she was obviously involved in the murder of her granddaughter.

So, according to Cindy, Bozo knew early on that Caylee was dead.  We all knew that.  Cindy is once again telling things that we knew and making herself look like the poor, victimized grandmother. 

My advice to George....

Go get a job.  Go get an apt.  Drive over to The Villiages and find yourself a nice, retired lady.  Maybe one a little older, who won't mind being a 'mothering' type of wife.  Live out the rest of your days in relative peace.

According to the Notice of Appearance filed by Jose Baez, he was officially her attorney of record as of 3:54 p.m. on July 17, 2008.

I didn't watch the show so I want to thank everyone who did for all their comments and everyone who has posted articles and links.   

Cindy is the most stupid and evil person if she thinks the public is buying what she is selling in her little comments about Casey and what happened with Caylee.  Everyone knows Caylee did not drown..that is a fiction that Baez produced as much as George molesting her or Lee molesting her is fiction. 

Cindy is only convincing herself if she believes that story...she will never know the truth of what happened to Caylee at her daughter's hand because it has smacked her in the face.

I hope George leaves Cindy and I hope he gets half of everything..and I don't think Lee is going to want much of a relationship with Casey..he wasn't in court everyday supporting her. I doubt that anyone other then Cindy would let Casey within 10 feet of their child.  Cindy just doesn't get it and she never will.

I am very upset about sindy's lies...They threw away the car were caylees remains were there (i believe it has been sold/ destroyed) but they still have the pool? and i agree with George that BOBo's opening statement didn't have sense...that he found caylee dead and screemed at Casey and then went to work? hello?  that family is completely sick...

i think the deal was to trow George under the bus,,,cindy supposed to say that Casey told her that George was molesting her (as planned) but she didn't and slore started crying like crazy as we watched on TV...she cried because sindy didn't say what she supposed to say.

Casey Anthony waited 30 days before reporting her daughter missing.

Those found guilty of violating the proposed Caylee Anthony's Law would face penalties of up to four years in prison, a fine up to $5,000, or both, for failure to immediately report a child dead or missing to police in Michigan.

The proposal, House Bill 4872, was co-sponsored by state Rep. Bill Rogers, R-Genoa Township.

I always find it funny when someone says something like "If so and so is elected, I'll move to Canada," or Mexico, or Europe. I always wonder what makes them think that Canada or Mexico or a country in Europe would have them.  Every country has restrictions on whom they will allow entrance and most countries don't allow felons to move in.  Most of them have enough felons of their own.  The only exception is France which seems to let the dregs of the world live there if they have enough money, like Baby Doc Duvalier and the Ayatollah Komeini. 

So I'd like to know what makes Casey Anthony think she could just blithely move to Mexico.  She'd probably as unwelcome there as she is here.

Good point BB. It might take her a long time to master Spanish from watching Dora the Explorer cartoons and actually studying a language is too much work. All a bunch of hooey propaganda anyway I'm sure.

On a new tv show tonight, Harry's Law, they said (not verbatim) guilty people like OJ Simpson and Casey Anthony get away with murder all the time.  Part of me likes knowing so many people know the truth and part of me wishes she wouldn't get even the negative attention.  Even the negative attention probably cheers her, but every minute of every day of the rest of her and her families lives should be a living hell.  IMO, of course.

Baez wants everyone to believe that she devil is going to a different country so no one will be looking for her in the States.  Then she can go back to her parties cause everyone will think she's some where else.

Baez is handling the felon in the exact manner that he did prior to trial. HE kept her isolated from everyone. HE spoke for her. HE and Mason and Simms presented the girl/woman that they created out of thin air, they told us about her fear, her this or that.
They are doing the mirror image now. She is technically free to do whatever she wants. She could go out. She could hire a bodyguard and go anywhere anytime but THEY haven't perfected the image that THEY want for the big reveal.   So, in the interim, "sources" spoonfeed the public her thoughts, her goals, her whatever so that when she finally does take center stage the dr. Phils or the Baba Walters who iterview her simply pose the questions and she answers.

What they have all failed to realize is that their behavior has spoken for them, and all the interviews, articles in People magazine, etc. will never erase the impression the public overwhelmingly has of them. 
I'm reading a book called "The Sociopath Next Door" by Martha Stout, and she says one of the most dangerous things about sociopaths is their desire for sympathy.  Normal people try to help and by doing so, render themselves vulnerable.  That's how the sociopath is able to achieve their ends.  I keep thinking of Cindy and that interview with Megan Kelley where she tried to manipulate her with the grieving grandparent crap.  This foundation is operating on that same principle, in my opinion.

International headlines are shouting, "Michael Jackson drank propofol moments before he died!" These questionable pronouncements allude to the defense theory that Murray's legal team is expected to soon present in a Los Angeles courtroom. Symptoms of a "blame the victim" syndrome are already showing.

While sensational, it should be of no surprise that Murray's lawyers may argue that Michael Jackson took his own life by either injecting himself with propofol or ingesting it. Story-making is surely nothing new when it comes to the King of Pop. Turning the tables on the voiceless is also now in vogue with high-profile criminal defendants. It worked for Casey Anthony, why shouldn't it also work for Conrad Murray? While "blaming the victim" may be a tempting and ultimately effective defense strategy, it is morally suspect when based in fabrication and driven by unsubstantiated factual claims.

Given all the monsters currently incarcerated for murdering children I no longer think anyone is at risk from other inmates...I think of Shaniya Davis' mother, Gabriel's mother,  Darcy,  etc.   It's as if no one really cares.

I would also like to share actual conversations I had with an addict/criminal.   I am trying to show a train of thought, so I do not think it is off topic.


Here in Ohio a real monster killed a mother while she was trying to save her preschool son from a molester.   The man had stolen her car WITH HER ID  a week or so before and tracked her down.   She had photos of her child in the car...the child was always the target.

I know people who had been in a treatment program with the murderer.   I knew his roommate very well.  In short, in their mind, the victim was blamed.

I knew there were complaints about the murderer being "gay"   "slow"  "strange" etc.   Then, ( I did not know this until after the murder ) the man had gone around people with a bike in the back  seat of his car...when asked he said it was for his "nephew"...bull, it was bait for a child.

does going straight to HELL count as leaving the country? Ahh, someday.

Other criminals / addicts, blamed the mother for leaving her ID in the car...said she should have known better.   They also seemed to think the mother should have known what could happen so she was not the HERO I say she is.

It's as if there is a world view that excuses not only their actions, but those of others.   I can only think that must be the case with KC Anthonly and Shaniya's bio mother.  Why else are they still among us WITH supporters?

A Florida judge today more than doubled the amount that Casey Anthony must pay for the search that led to her daughter's body, according to news reports out of Orlando.

Orange County Judge Belvin Perry upheld his earlier order that Anthony pay nearly $97,000 for investigative costs, then ordered that she now owes an additional $119,000 to the sheriff's office, WJXT says.

The sheriff's office initially was awarded more than $25,ooo but resubmitted cost estimates for the search for 2-year-old Caylee Anthony from July 15 to Sept. 29, 2008, the Orlando Sentinel says.

    The judge said that Anthony's payment obligations will be a civil judgment, meaning her creditors will have to sue to collect any money she earns from a book deal or the rights to her story. If she ever tries to buy a house, they will be able to put a lien on it.

She is serving probation at an undisclosed location in Florida for unrelated check fraud charges.

When my son got into trouble with the law he got a court appointed lawyer, after court was over on his probation papers he had to pay a total of 5 dollars a day for each day he was in jail, 3 dollars for phone calls that was to order his meals each day, and 300 for the 2 hour visit with his attorney, plus 20 a month for probation fees which all added up to 800+. So if he had these charges on him and him not working at this time why is it he and hundred more have to pay but KC gets a free ride on these items.

For who ever said they wondered why they haven't put out the Anthony's costumes for Halloween, I personally don't know anyone who would want to go as any of the Anthony's.

I love my small town, I went to the grocery and drug stores today, People Mag, Enquire and a few other magazines at the cash registers were turned backwards, I asked about it and was told anything with any of the A's on it they would turn it around so no one could see their faces. They wouldn't stop anyone from buying it, but they didn't have to advertise it either, I haven't been to the other grocery store it but I say WTG Lowe's Food and Kerr Drug store in my area.

Judge Belvin Perry revised his ruling to require the 25-year-old to pay an additional $119,822.25.

The amended order filed this afternoon covers expenses incurred by the Orange County Sheriff's Office -- the agency that headed up the search for Anthony's daughter Caylee.

According to the order, Anthony is responsible for reimbursement of the expenses because she "provided false information as to the location of her daughter" and made "other misrepresentations to law enforcement."

Pretty bad when the therapist says " Casey give me the creeps."

(CNN) -- A Florida judge on Friday more than doubled the tab -- to more than $217,000 -- that Casey Anthony must pay to authorities for the costs of investigating the disappearance of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Orange County Superior Court Chief Judge Belvin Perry Jr. had issued a ruling last week mandating that Anthony -- who was acquitted in July in the girl's murder but convicted on four misdemeanor counts for lying to investigators -- must pay $97,626.98.

But he had then left the door open for more mandated payments, giving several Orange County Sheriff's Office employees a deadline to resubmit expense reports from when investigators opened a missing person's case for Caylee in July 2008 up through late September 29 of that year, when it was changed into a homicide investigation.

That culminated in Friday's ruling, ordering that Anthony must pay an additional $119,822.25 for expenses from the sheriff's office. This is on top of $25,837.96 that Perry previously said that department would receive. He ordered additional payments to other entities.

The new figure represents a significant increase from that detailed on September 15. But the new reimbursement total of $217,449.23 is still less than half of the $516,000 that state and local offices had originally sought from Anthony.

Maybe Judge Perry is finally pissed off that this slease team does not know the meaning of the term do not look a gift horse in the mouth and said I had enough.  She lied for 3 years, making all these people spend all this money, not to mention how much it cost to try her.  I hope nobody above him lessens the amount. 

I really hope that Jeff Ashton's book will shed some light on his relationship with Belvin Perry.  Perry took unprofessional digs at Jeff constantly throughout the trial.

I agree that Perry took undeserved digs at Mr. Ashton during the trial and many of his rulings, IMO, were biased toward the defense.  His decisions during the jury selection were way off the mark and he flat out said that Ms. Farmville was staying over the prosecution objections because she is black.  Race neutral, or something like that, even though the prosecution's reasons in not accepting her were perfectly legal and reasonable and had nothing whatsoever to do with her race.   The woman said that God didn't put her on earth to judge others.  That, no matter her race, was sufficient to bar her from jury duty, which after all is a position which requires judging others.  Now that he was instrumental in freeing a murderer, he can't make it up by issuing orders which she can never fullfill and there is no penalty if she does not, nor can he even order her to even if she should have the money to do so.  Only a lawsuit by LE which they would have to win, can force her to pay even if she were to make millions from her murdering her daughter.  And only then if the judge in that case should order her to pay.  Since we do not have a debtor's prison in this country, she will never suffer one day in her miserable life for what she has done.

I don't know how it works in FL but in many states in elections a judge stands to be retained or not, not run against an opponent.  The vote is a straight up or down vote--yes or no.  Keep him or her or not.  However it works in FL IMO Perry is not fit to retain his position.  His performance in the Anthony trial was disgraceful and he made no effort to even hide his bias toward the defense.  I believe it was because of the "Ol' Boys' Club" mentality and that he and Mason have some kind of history together.  We all saw Baez' performance and there were many times that his actions and what he said in court were improper and really some of them were just stupid, owing to his lack of  knowledge of the law, IMO.  Yet, the judge just helped him along, told him when he was doing it wrong and showed him how to do it right. When he threatened Biaz with sanctions, he also included Mr. Ashton in the threat, although he was just sitting there being an innocent, though amused, bystander. It made no difference though, because even though Perry told Baez he would deal with his infractions once the trial was finished, he did not do so.  As far as we know, Baez has not faced one sanction from the judge since the trial has ended. But watching the Judge during the trial, did we really expect that he would?

So, IMO, I think Perry is just trying to make himself look better for next year's elections by issuing an order which has no chance of being enforced, and an order which will require a lawsuit against Casey Anthony to even recoup any of the money.  It is as good as no order at all.

Considering Perry's lack of judgement, as evidenced by his past dallying with a blonde assistant, even though he was married at the time,  and his IMO bias toward the defense in the Anthony case, which was directly attributable to the not guilty verdict, I don't think he morally fit to hold this  prestigious job and I hope the voters of Orange County show him that his behaviour is not acceptable for someone who judges the fate of others.  When he lied to the FBI about his dalliance, he committed the same infraction as did Casey Anthony when she lied to LE, yet he suffered no consequences, no penalty, and the only adverse effect  was a self-imposed absense from the office of chief judge for a short period of time. The violation of the law is almost identical, yet no consequences for him and a fine in excess of $200,000 for CaseyAnthony.  I am not arguing that Anthony should also suffer no consequences, I am arguing that Perry himself should have been penalized for his breaking the law.  In any case, he has made it possible for Anthony to not have to reimburse anyone without their bring a lawsuit and most likely, that won't happen and once again, a murderer will go free.  It is sickening.

It's not a website I support at all & would never even visit their page if it wasn't for a friend of mine pointing me there to see the interview. Neither of us watched it because we didn't want to increase his ratings. Jim Lichtenstein Jose was convinced that the house was bugged. You may remember that while Casey was out on bond both times, she would be brought to Jose's office each day. Jose didn't want her in that house talking. He wanted her in his office where he could hopefully keep her and her stories in check. So each day, at 10am sharp, Casey would get in an SUV in the closed garage and be driven to Jose's, 20 miles away, by Rob Dick and Tracy.

While Casey was hanging at Jose's office I knew she would spend time on her Facebook page (It was on the computer in Jose's office on fruit cup day). I sent her a friend request that night and before I knew it, were were FB friends. Most of the posts on her page were bashing her. Some were supporting her. Casey would write posts asking the negative people to stay away and asking all to help find Caylee. There were a ton of pictures of her and Caylee. I copied them all and hung on to them. We didn't use them right away because in network television, you have to have permission to use material like pictures, There are lawyers that go through everything before it airs to make sure we have out t's crossed and i's dotted. These pictures were eventually released by police.

That meeting with Jose was on a Thursday and ABC camera crews were brought in for a Saturday interview. What nobody knew, is that the police WERE listening in. (I'll talk about this later) The night before the interview, police swooped in (during Nancy Grace if you recall) and arrested Casey for the check fraud charges. The did it so quickly, they didn't even have a warrant when they went to the house. The police were very proud that they prevented Casey from being interviewed. The money, however had been transferred and that money financed Casey's defense and bailed her out a second time...

Reasonable doubts in the Casey Anthony trial?

The Casey Anthony trial was not the first high-profile trial tried in a central Florida courtroom in which an infamous defendant charged with perpetrating horrible crimes against a child was, in the words of a reporter covering the trial, able to "squeeze through the door of reasonable doubt." The other trial to which I refer is Florida v. Gettys; that fictional trial in Gainesville, Fla., takes place in the opening and closing scenes of the semi-cult classic The Devil's Advocate. I will resist the temptation to take the parallels of the two cases to the next level. Nancy Grace, commenting on the evening of the Anthony verdict perhaps unwittingly did take the comparisons to the next level, when she told her national television audience something to the effect that "somewhere the devil is dancing."

CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE

In Casey's case, the prosecution clearly provided more than enough evidence, circumstantial or otherwise, to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she was guilty of some form of murder. Prisons throughout the country, death rows included, are full of persons convicted on far less evidence. Some defense lawyers, during the banter of happy-hour shoptalk, opine that they would trade the burden of proof for the final rebuttal in closing argument, so used are they to seeing defendants convicted in circumstantial-evidence cases on far less evidence. In the same vein, they are envious of prosecutors who get that unrebutted "last word" coup de grâce in the final phase of closing argument.

My hubs did find it funny. I make a point of being very literal when I use words and, having worked in the legal profession, it was a natural way for me to say it. I would never offend my monkey friends and I apologize to anyone that was offended. ORLANDO, FL - A Florida judge on Friday more than doubled the tab -- to more than $217,000 -- that Casey Anthony must pay to authorities for the costs of investigating the disappearance of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Orange County Superior Court Chief Judge Belvin Perry Jr. had issued a ruling last week mandating that Anthony -- who was acquitted in July in the girl's murder but convicted on four misdemeanor counts for lying to investigators -- must pay $97,626.98.

But he had then left the door open for more mandated payments, giving several Orange County Sheriff's Office employees a deadline to resubmit expense reports from when investigators opened a missing person's case for Caylee in July 2008 up through late September 29 of that year, when it was changed into a homicide investigation.

That culminated in Friday's ruling, ordering that Anthony must pay an additional $119,822.25 for expenses from the sheriff's office. This is on top of $25,837.96 that Perry previously said that department would receive. He ordered additional payments to other entities.

The I Wanna Be On production company said it had intended to make "What Was I Thinking" to increase awareness of Borderline Personality Disorder and its impact on families and children.

Vincent Presti, the lead producer on the project, said he decided to halt production after reviewing initial footage.

"After consulting with other producers and creatives, I have decided to halt production to protect the families and children who have agreed to participate in the project," Presti said in a statement Monday. "Their stories are compelling and we have a creative, fiduciary duty to portray their stories with minimal impact on their future lives, especially their children. In light of the Casey Anthony trial, we feel that the project and its cast would benefit, even if not commercially, from some distance from this summer's events."

JMO..casey doesn't have a borderline personality disorder.
Jmo, casey is a black seed, she's just plain evil like the black widow.

The legislation stems from Casey Anthony not reporting her daughter missing for 31 days. Taylor says the case exposed a weakness in the law that needs closing. His bill would make it a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison for a parent or guardian to fail to report a child 12 or younger missing within 24 hours.

    So here's the deal. I think I'm done with talking about the Casey case. I know there are lots of people who are a tad obsessed with the details, but at the end of the day... I'm not one of them. It consumed my professional life for 3 years, but those 3 years are pretty much over. I am moving on, and so should you.

There are so many people that let events of the world rule their lives. 9/11, Viet Nam, Elvis... Don't let this case define you! I'm sorry, but if you mention Caylee or Casey in your FB or Twitter name, then I'm talking to you.

Here's my suggestion. Go play with your kids; ride a bike; hit a movie. And each night when you kiss your kids as they drift off to sleep, squeeze them a little tighter. If this story causes us all to look at our kids a little differently, then something good came out of it.

Bad things happen. Horrible things... We deal with it and go on with our lives. Now is the time to do this.
