Now I could be wrong....
but I thought the Kalpoes have to get those Visas and come to Chicago to
give depositions before the trial in Los Angles can begin. Is that the way it
is?
It would seem that they could come to give the deposition on just a visitior's
visa, which is not that hared to obtain.
Magnolia, I don't really know if they have to give a deposition in Chicago before the trial, but agree that a visitor's visa probably would be what they would need to come here. You are probaby right...I just don't remember everything.
It just doesn't make sense that the second time they filed, with help from the embassy or an immigration consultant that the applications were still incomplete and were denied. As others have stated, it seems it's deliberate on their part or at the advise of their attorneys. As the document said, they could have appealed the denials and sought to have everything cleared if they had good intentions of answering the request of the court.
The kalpoes are the
PLAINTIFFS
-- if they can't come to the US to be deposed -- they
CAN'T
bring suit here. It is really pretty simple.

I know that if the law firm in Chicago wants the Kalpoes to come to Chicago to
be deposed, they can call in a Senator or Representative to fast track the visa
through the red tape. It can be done in two days.

I agree -- it is NOT that difficult!!! The point is whether they "can't" come here or "won't" come here doesn't matter. If you want to bring a suit in the United States -- you gotta play by OUR rules.

Seems like they would want to come and get all that money they are waiting for.
Then they can give Joran that million they have promised him.

iirc -- Visa waiver program that GWB put into effect allows 90 days for 'tourism' or 'work' (without needing a Visa). Aruba is a member country. Not sure if Surinam is.
Not sure if coming to US for a deposition would qualify as either work or tourism -- so they probably would need a Visa to come to Chicago. I don't know what kind of Visa -- there are many. Maybe there is one especially for slimy sleazy lying creetons who thought they could ................
Yes -- I think it is very deliberate on their part. And their ignorant attorneys. Have they never googled 'Visa Wizard'??

Paulus is a lot of things.. I have never considered him foolish or stupid..
He is extreme intelligent. He is a Viable Chess Opponent.
When it comes to law, He is very sharp and he advises this other lawyer that represents Deepak and Satish.
He very well could be the culprit in any crime against Natalee. We have no way of knowing he is not. It was all set up when Beth and Jug arrived.
All of it by design..
From the kid that told Jug that Joran owned that silver Honda and took them to Jorans house.. "and the car belonged to Deepak"
Then when the police sat in front of the home with sirens on and Paulus stalled for time.
He had thought this whole thing out way before Beth landed.
Do not under estimate this man.
Best thing anyone can do is party at the same Club in L.A. When Deepak and his little shit come to town. Ask some quality questions..Make them feel right at home..
Buy him a drink.
Give him a ride home.... Because friends do not let friends drive home drugged, or something like that.
I have long said that Paulus was involved in Natalee's demise. When Natalee died (in the Sloot home) the wheels were in motion. He had the EVERYONE in power on his side. He had time to set his plan in place. Was it enough time? No. Even Paulus asked her how did you get here so fast? By Beth arriving on the island so quickly she screwed part of his plan up. Buy her instinct as a mother she screwed his plan up. By Jug being a Type A personality he screwed his plan up.
So now the question will be. By the Kalpoes going to trial (which I hope happens) will it screw Paulus plan up? I think it will. But will Justice for Natalee come from their trial? No I don't think it will but I will be happy to see Dr. Phil's lawers tear another A hole in Deepak and Satish.

I have a feeling that John Q. Kelly is helping in the background.
I also believe we will find out things from Beth herself. I think Beth has information that was not released and I also believe that the Kalpoes don't know all the information she has. I don't think Beth would allow Dr. Phil to go down. She will give up the information. She wants to win also. JMO.

As much as I would love to see a trial --- I don't believe it will happen. I say there is no way the Kalpoes come to the U.S. The gambled on Dr. Phil simply settling out of court.

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – The Internet potentially will lose one of its main sources of bestiality videos under a ban approved Tuesday by the upper house of the Dutch parliament.
The new law bans human sex with animals, including in private situations where the animals are not injured, and prohibits the production or distribution of animal pornography, a summary of the law posted on the upper chamber's website said.
Given the illicit nature of the product, precise figures on animal pornography video sales are difficult to find, but the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, in a 2007 survey, found that distributors in the Netherlands were responsible for some 80 percent of bestiality videos worldwide.
The bill was introduced in April 2007 and passed the lower house in July 2008, but took time to make its way through the upper house to final approval. It was not immediately clear how soon the law would go into effect.
Sex with animals had been legal in the Netherlands, as long as it could be proven the animals were not injured.

And if the Kalpoes have to appear for their deposition in California on or before June 1, 2010 then they must be expecting that the court date will be moved. As of now the JURY TRIAL is still set for May 17, 2010.
