Most of us have this case memorized. The jury doesn't and it all can't come in, else the trial will go on for three years.
There are many thing I have questioned about the ANTS for all these years. I do not think there was an accident or that George was involved on June 16th. However, they are going to have to sell some reasonable explanation as why they behaved the way they did to that jury.
When Cindy was on the stand yesterday, I wanted Linda to ask her : Why did you believe that crap ? It's one thing to not give your kid the third degree about where they went and all of that, but she had Caylee with her. Caylee was spending 4 to 5 nights a week at Ricardo's. That was so inappropriate and why didn't they figure things out sooner ?

I agree with you, though I add that some parents are like that...not me! But I personally know aquaitances, not close friends, who behave like this with their adult children. They feel it's wrong to pry into an adult child's life (even with grandchildren involved) [sigh]

I agree as you may have seen. They need to be totally upfront & admit what they did despite its consequence and with that state that they wanted to believe their daughter & hope that Caylee was still alive.   I believe they at least suspected after picking up Casey's car and certainly thereafter was a total after the fact cover up & there is no way around that so they need to confront it, if they dont Id have to think they still desire for Casey to get away with murder....so far it doesnt appear so but I pray that is not the case.

I think George had known for some time that things with Casey weren't "right".  I think he knew she was pregnant, I think he knew she wasn't working at Universal, Sports Authority, etc.  I think he knew she did something to Caylee.  I think he let those things go rather than suffer the wrath of Cindy AND Casey.  I think he is a beaten man.

I think Cindy was so knee-deep in denial she couldn't see straight, although we are seeing doubt creeping into Cindy's mind witnessed by her testimony yesterday that she was beginning to believe Casey was lying when she said she and Caylee were in Jax.  She called Ryan, a friend of Casey's to see if he'd seen or heard from Casey, and he had so she believed Casey was actually in Jax at that point.

One thing about sociopaths/psychopaths, they are very adept liars. . . they can lie on the fly very convincingly.  Sometimes you KNOW they are lying to you but you think you are the one going crazy because they are so convincing and elaborate with the lies.

Brandi, is there a copy of the envelope that came with this letter?  The date is 2010.  Could that be a typo, or have G & C known for over a year?

It tends to lead credence to the reported incident when Casey was bailed out and George made an utterance that he had had it and couldnt live with this lie any longer, also reports that he went after Casey wanting the truth in front of others.

Thanks Brandi

This letter bothers me for many reasons.  It is not a letter of denial.  It is not a letter demanding to know why Casey is lying.  Instead ... George uses each member of the family as leverage in a futile attempt to persuade his daughter not to go down this avenue of defence.

Those are the exact words that a father used to keep a sexually abuse survivor we know from speaking out at an early age... a sexual abuse survivor who is a very close friend of my daughter.  Something akin to Casey ... prior to receiving professional counselling and ... turning her life around ... this now happily married wife and mother ... went down the road of promiscuity for many years ... search for love in all the wrong places.

I hope I am wrong but ... I am not convinced that Casey is lying in regards to the sexual abuse allegation.  However ... any sexual abuse that may have occurred does not justify Casey's actions in those 31 days.  Casey has to be held accountable.  Justice for Caylee demands it.

What did the the unreleased suicide letter written by George reveal?  Think about it.  As far as I am aware there has not been one word of objection by the prosecution to the disgusting allegations within the defence's opening statement.

MARK LIPPMAN, ATTORNEY FOR THE ANTHONY FAMILY: Nancy, this whole theory started, as far as we`re concerned, probably back in February where they started creating this, when the psych evals came out. And from there we`ve known approximately about six weeks ago that the defense was going to go down this road. And that came directly from Jose`s mouth where we found out about six weeks ago how Caylee, according to them, passed.

The Anthonys may have filed a document with the court requiring bozo to prove his damaging allegations or apologize and stop using them. If he does not they will prosecute him for lying to a court of law. I can see that happening. I can't wait to read this document.

Well, it appears I pegged that one...seems to me that will be what Lippman's motion is in regard to

Stutz, Chris – Casey’s former boyfriend. Met Casey while playing football with her friends. Began dating March or April 2007 and throughout the summer. At this time, Casey said she worked at Sports Authority. Long-distance relationship did not work out. Saw Casey a few times in May and June. On June 17 she came to his house driving dark colored Jeep Cherokee. Distressed because her parents were getting divorced (George cheating on Cindy).

Talked about her and Caylee getting house. On July 15 around 9:30 a.m., he saw a girl who looked like Casey jogging down Chickasaw. He texted Casey and asked her if she was running down Chickasaw, but she said ‘no’ and that was the end of that. July 16, he got text message about Caylee being missing for 32 days. Casey called Chris later that night around 11:30 p.m. from jail, but he hung up without taking the call. He called his parents back and asked what he should do; they said not to take the call. Casey called back a few minutes later but he did not talk to her and has not talked to her or seen her since she was arrested. Several of Casey’s friends met with George and Cindy at their house, giving them any information they could … around July 19 or 26 or so. ”Brought a bag with Caylee's scuba-style swim suit (it has a life-vest sewn in), some swimmers, hair things, etc.

What if the jury was still seated when Cindy A was allowed to step down (what if the judge had not called the recess yet);

Tupelo

This letter was prompted by George & Cindy finding out about Casey's jail letters.   He is addressing why she said what she said in her letter to her jailmate
