You and me both.  Remember they (LE) did not tell the truth about the Mondex search at first.

Ronald and Misty Cummings appear at pretrial hearings on drug trafficking charges.

If looks could kill.... the lovebirds look scary.    What is also beginning to surface are doubts about some news reports that were circulated last week concerning Misty Croslin taking a lie detector test. Reliable sources are confirming that Misty did in fact attend an interview at the request of Law Enforcement, and the interview was conducted outside of the confines of the jail facility. But, unofficially, we are being told that there is nothing to indicate that a Polygraph was involved.      Is that unusual to take a prisoner outside of the confines of the jail facility?

Well, I hope there is some truth to some of the things being said, certainly the part that Misty might finally break, that would be great, and what if she already did, it has been just recently we heard about the failed LDT, and then about Tommy wanting to take one, and then all of a sudden the river is being searched, could mean nothing,but it could be something and I hope for HaLeighs sake to search is for her case, that is alot of work to go through to find a little gun in all that water,  anyway, will be watching NG tonight to see what else she can tell us about court today, if anything!

PALATKA — A minor player caught in an undercover drug bust that also netted the father and former stepmother of missing Haleigh Cummings pleaded no contest Wednesday to a drug-trafficking charge before a Putnam County judge.

Hope Sykes was in the back seat of an undercover car with her cousin Ronald Cummings while Misty Croslin sat up front and counted what investigators later identified as hydrocodone pills in a Jan. 13 video caught secretly on a dashboard recorder.

Sykes, 19, told Circuit Judge Terry LaRue she decided to plead no contest to one charge of trafficking, a first-degree felony that could mean a 15-year sentence, although her age may qualify her as a youthful offender and provide some leeway in the sentencing.

The prosecutor in her case said she has not made any arrangements for Sykes to testify in the cases involving Cummings or Croslin, who each face multiple trafficking charges. She will be sentenced April 27.
Sykes made the plea in hearings that also set new court dates for Cummings, whose daughter disappeared in February 2009, and Croslin, who was with the 5-year-old the night she vanished.

Croslin, 18, is charged with seven counts of trafficking in Putnam County and one count in St. Johns. Her bail on the multiple charges is set at $1.35 million, an amount her lawyer said he has not planned to contest.

Palatka attorney Robert Fields said he doubts Croslin’s family could afford bail that involved more than “a few thousand dollars.”

Croslin appeared in court in a blue jail uniform and answered brief questions from the judge before her next pre-trial was set for June 3. Cummings was in the courtroom when she was brought in and the two glanced briefly at each other.

Croslin’s parents were in the audience, sitting separate from Cummings’ mother, sister and grandmother.
Cummings, 25, is charged with five counts of trafficking. His next pre-trial is set for May 13.

In an afternoon hearing, Croslin’s brother, Hank Croslin Jr., was granted a pre-trial continuance to May 13.
Croslin Jr. faces one trafficking charge as part a monthlong undercover operation by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office that ended in mid-January and involved 330 pills of oxycodone and hydrocodone. One undercover agent bought drugs several times then offered to sell pills before the arrests were made. The estimated street value was $3,900.

One other person charged in the case goes to court in St. Johns County Tuesday. Donna Brock, 44, a friend of Misty Croslin, was charged with selling drugs to the undercover officer the two met outside St. Augustine.

Investigators said the undercover operation was not linked to the disappearance of Haleigh, which gained national attention as the year-long search dragged on for the kindergartner who has still not been found.
But detectives have said they will use the opportunity to question those arrested about Haleigh’s case.

All five charged in the case were captured on surveillance tapes.

Tim Miller says that he does not believe that RC knows what happened to HaLeigh, but RC thinks that MC does & that is why RC is trying to keep MC close.

I know, but I have never agreed with that. Time will tell perhaps.

I think that he knows more than what he is letting on...I don't think that he knew that night...or...he knew that something might happen.  I recall the 9-1-1 call...something gave me the "feeling" that he knew that someone took her...how he worded things...I wouldn't doubt that he made someone mad (relating to drugs) and there was nothing else to take...so Haleigh was taken...I think marrying MC...was their simple minded way of protecting each other.  Just a theory.  But, I don't think that he "directly" had anything to do with taking her.
