Two years.

I think it was the Tuesday after Memorial Day 2005 when we came home and checked the messages. Beth's daughter did not come home. At first the news spread slowly. Then after three or four days it was a full blown national story. After a week or two this entire community was covered with yellow ribbons. In mid June the networks and others mistakenly reported that Natalee's body had been found. At the end of August a huge auction was held for Natalee. Beth attended wearing a pendant of ruby red slippers.

Today I wonder how it can be that Natalee's body has not been found. A recent visit to one of Natalee's neighbors had me looking through the trees toward the Twitty house asking what happened and shaking my head at the absolute destruction inflicted on that family. What emptiness.

PVDS arrested June 23rd and gives a witness statement @ 14:30 and states the following;

I have previously stated that I had picked up Joran on Sunday
May 29th at approximately 23.00 hours near Mc Donalds. Subsequently
I woke up at that Monday morning at approximately 05.45 hours. In
the hours between I had gone to sleep and I did not hear Joran
leaving or hear him return home. 05.45 hours is the normal time for
the alarm to go off and I wake up. The children I wake up at
approximately 06.00 hours. I awakened Valentijn, Sebastian and Joran.

35 minutes later the following message is posted by 'simian'...

Makes one wonder if the PVDS initiator/interviewer Roland Tromp or CLYDE BURKE had access to a PC shortly after the interview with PVDS on June 23rd.

Coincidentally Clyde Burke's name does not appear on the witness list as 'initiator' after July 11, 2005.  When was it Simian quit posting?

What a good summary. Destruction and emptiness. You've put it so well. I like to think that good can come out of every situation but it's not possible to see much good in this case. I'm not on the prayer list but tonight I am lifting up everyone affected by these losses and evils.

I want to know too!! I thought the flight manifest showed at least Sebastian was supposed to be with Anita. I also thought Valentijn was with her as well. I haven't heard the same thing twice from Joran or Paulus!!
