Casey Anthony Doesn't Deserve a Dime

Any mother who has lost a child — even for a minute — knows what terror feels like, and Casey Anthony did the exact opposite of what most other mothers would have done.

 But as the verdict was handed down this week, I was glued to the television as much as the next person. I was shocked to hear the jury’s decision. From what I knew about the case, it seemed that justice would be done, and Casey Anthony would be convicted. Instead, she was convicted on lesser charges of lying to authorities. And so the mother who loved to party will not be headed to death row but instead will be free in less than a year.

 It also looks like she will have quite the bank account to cover those drinks and buy skimpy outfits for more “hot body” contests. Many news reports indicate that Casey Anthony is possibly set to make millions of dollars. From whom? Hollywood media and news programs, of course.


But this is so wrong. Casey Anthony should never be given a microphone or a book or movie deal. She is either completely insane or a murderer — or both.

 The woman is a criminal, and it is sickening to even think of her and her family, or her agents, wading through offer after offer for paid interviews, books deals, or deciding which Hollywood starlet should play her in a movie.

 Shame on any news outlet, corporation, gossip website, or Hollywood movie producer who gives this woman a dime. By paying Casey Anthony for her sordid story, they are profiting from a child’s death.

If the defense's story about George doing what they say he did is so true... and if what they claim about Caylee accidentally drowning and George holding her while screaming at Casey is so true....................... then ................  I expect we'll see a wrongful death case against George filed by Casey/Cindy/Lee.  As well as an arrest of George for alleged past abuse of Casey.  If no charges are brought against George, how can anyone (in Cindy's family or otherwise) claim it's true?  For that matter, how could Cindy sit side by side George in court, hold hands with him, act 'as if' things were fine ever since she supposedly found out what the defense was accusing him of?  Seems to me that the whole thing defies reason. 

I'm a firm believer and advocate in and for the rights of victims.  Ordinarily, charges are brought against the one being accused.  If that doesn't happen immediately in this case, then IMO Casey and Caylee as well were no true victims of George.  Seems if Casey (and/or Cindy/family) doesn't put up or shut up, then George has every right to bring charges against Casey and her 'dream team' for defamation of character and etc etc etc..

All IMO.

MOO   The family story is BS...IF this were true do you honestly think Cindy would have allowed GA within one mile of her...Molest my daughter?   Cover up?  He would be black and blue and Cindy would be arrested for DV right in front of the entire world...and I would not have blamed her.    you CANNOT sit next to OR LOOK AT, the person responsible for destroying your daughter.

Next,  GA IS NOT THAT DARNED good of an actor that he could do all he did on the jail video....are these relatives blind? 

I would have stood up and told the entire damn world what GA did if I were Cindy...not let my baby go on trial, etc. 

Okay,  I could go on and on but it is crazy.  And KC is not going any place that is not exciting....

I am glad to see that most have begun to exit the shock stage and entering anger. I hope the anger passes quickly onto something more positive... some of it is scary..moo

I am still in the hurt/grieving/like my child died state, rage state, would probably not call 911 if any of them were bleeding to death in front or me stage, and might help the bleeding along by putting just a few more cuts stage.

I cannot really explain it.

Back a few years ago, I was put on a drug, believe it was Paxil.  I decided not to take it any more cause it made me feel very guilty and I didn't do anything.  Back then, all I could think of was how to stop feeling that way and thought about taking my life, never very seriously, and told my doctor and they switched my med.  I am not on anything now, but I feel the very same way. So, there is no med to switch and I do not know how to make this feeling go away.  It is a physical feeling in my stomach that spreads throughout my entire body.   It was the most horrible feeling in the world and I swear I am in a very despondent state.  I can barely eat, sleep.  I am sitting in my office in the dark.  I am sure with time, i will be fine, but I feel like I have been stabbed in the stomach, that there is no justice in this world, that children have no rights, that lies can be told to get murderers off and it works.  I thought courts of law were for truth.  I am disgusted.  Every time I close my eyes, I start crying.

My husband rolls his eyes at me.  My kids are too young to understand.  You guys are all I have. 

I keep trying to think of things to do to get my mind off of this, but I cannot stop thinking about it.  I had hoped she would serve a few weeks, give me time to get over this, but with her getting out next week, I don't know what I am going to do to get over this.  Three years, I have spent praying for justice for Caylee. 

There is not one single person in her family that stood up for her throughout the past 3 years.   This has been about KC and only KC. 

I don't know how some of you do it.  I know you are all angry and upset but I am absolutely devastated to the point of not functioning.  I have been late to work 3 days in a row, and when I am at work, I barely am getting any work done.  I am dreaming about this case if I do get some sleep.  I am constantly tearing up.  When I cry, I am sobbing. I don't do that.  I cannot tell you the last time I sobbed.  I want to spit on every reporter that does an interview with any juror, DT lawyer, pays anybody for their story, or reports anything on KC.  My throat hurts from constantly being this close to tears. 

I was going to make a webpage, something like www.heypinellascountyjurors.com and list all the things this wench has done, but I have no mind set to look these things up to post.  I am totally and utterly lost and hopeless and she is not my child.  How did she function all that time while her child was dead. 

Gosh, I will shut up now.  Thanks for letting me rant.

Juror number 3 took the all expense paid trip to Orlando for herself and extended family to...that's right Disney World...like she won the super bowl//paid for by none other then ABC.  She is there with all her family..yep even neices and nephews....nice huh!

Wow, oh wow... her whole friggin' family??!!  WTH???!!!!!   Time to boycott Disneyworld & ABC!!

But Juror No. 2 didn't buy that.

"The six that voted guilty said it didn't matter at what point in time she came home and found out her daughter was missing," he said. "She had to report it in some way, shape or form, and that's where the negligence came in."

But some jurors, he said, had decided not to convict Casey Anthony of any charge in the girl's death. By lunch Tuesday, the guilty side started to lose votes.

Juror No. 2 was the last holdout. Deliberations lasted for 11 hours over two days. They filed into court at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday to hand over their verdict.

"We truly don't know what happened," he said. "Somebody knows, but we don't know."
