If Peter Devries ... an investigative reporter who possessed a comprehensive knowledge of the corrupt Aruban investigation ... had dismissed the finished recordings as nothing but a pack of lies by Joran ... lies that only furthered the Aruban coverup agenda ... I would have assumed that only Joran van der Sloot and the Aruban "powers that be" were in on what I perceive as a hoax ... a hoax meant to bring the the Natalee Holloway case to a simple conclusion ... a conclusion that implied that only Joran was involved in the misdemeanor of assisting in the disposal of a body.  Case Closed!

However ... when Peter Devries refers over and over on the talk show circuit ... on his interview with Beth ... on his website .. that the recordings solved the case ... the recordings contain a "full" confession ... I draw the line.

Devries has had two years to reassess his position on the recording and ... in my opinion his silence speaks volumes.

I have become more convinced than ever that Peter was not a part of any Aruban agenda.

Page 1-2:  It's early morning, and the house is quiet.  I'm still lying in bed, eyes closed.  I don't want to open them, because when I do, I'll have to face the day I've dreaded the most for the past twenty months.  Today I have to pack up Natalee's things for the last time.  Today I will have to say the final good-bye.  And I'm not ready.

Eyes still closed, I hear an occasional car pass in front of the house.  Another one stops across the street, and I hear the car door open, letting music and cheerful muffled voices escape for a moment.  Then close again.  The stillness in the house is interrupted by the harmonious tapping of little paws as Macy the dog and Carl the cat move across the hardwood floors.  Stopping for a moment.  Then tapping again.  The cold morning brings the sounds of life's activities as people step into another day of their routines.

Maybe if I don't open my eyes this day will just pass and I won't have to face what I have to do.  The painful inevitable chore that has been looming over me since my beautiful daughter, Natalee disappeared on the last night of her senior high school trip to Aruba.  The day has come to take her room apart and box it up.  I have to go through her belongings, which have remained untouched since she left home on May 26, 2005.  The movers will be here day after tomorrow.

Nothing of my life before Natalee disappeared in Aruba has remained intact.  Not my career.  Not my home.  Not my marriage.  My husband, Jug, and I are divorcing after six years.  My son, Natalee's younger brother, Matt, and I are moving in two days.  I have a lot to do.

I manage to swing my legs off the bed and sit up.  Reluctantly, I open my eyes and sit on the edge for a few moments.  I feel like concrete.  Heavy.  Very heavy.  Finally I stand up and slowly walk a half dozen steps or so down the short hall and turn right at Natalee's bedroom doorway ...

When was Dolf/Mos aware of the Persistence coming down?

Is it odd to anyone that Joran is in Aruba until the cage/trap is found,dove on on the 7th of Jan,then flies back to the Netherlands 2 days later??

Then Range Rover tapings start on Jan 10th correct?

Do we have any FACTS relating to when Mos/Dolph were aware of the Persistence coming down?If they were aware of the Persistence coming down much earlier,which i believe they more then likely were....The timing of the arrest is beyond suspect,then remains there until 2 days after the Jan 7th dive,then goes back to the Netherlands....Please tell me that is not bizarre??Do i need to go to Den Dolder.....

No, you are not in the minority at all!! I agree the timing is definitely suspicious. Yes, I concur that Mos  and DOlf RIchardson are up to their eyeballs in this. Still not ready to throw Devries under the bus!

I don't trust Peter.My intention,at this point,is not to throw him under the bus.Maybe in time i throw him under it,or better yet,Madrina throws me under the bus for attempting to throw Peter under the bus..... ...Justice at work...
