The court reporter needs to call in some backup.
I don't think any of them deserve to rest (except the ct. reporter).

Sorry Caylee, the jury took your day away.

Judge Perry is telling Ann Finnell that her questions are improper to ask.

And she should know that.

And IMO he should tell her to stop using the word killed.  Casey killed her daugther, the state would be exucuting her for that killing.  HUGE difference.

Why hasn't JP sent for another court reporter?  I'm sure one of his girls would like a change of scenery.

Here we go.  Starting at 20:20 about mitigating circumstances

- Age at the time    Relevant but she was of legal adult age at the time of the murder
- Lack of maturity     That can be attributed to many adults, but they dont commit murder
- Lack of impulse control    Was she ever treated by a physician for same prior to the murder
- History of sexual abuse      Why didnt she kill her abuser
- Suffers from insomnia and nighmares      Was she ever treated by a physician for same prior to the murder
- Lack of parental guidance      It was present, the manner may be in question but a general knowledge of right from wrong is also present
- Mother and father failed to protect her as a child   Quite the opposite, albeit in a twisted manner
- Verbally and emotionally abused as a child    Millions have been & millions do not kill their children
- Taught poor coping skills and has poor coping skills by normal standards  Did any mental health professional, school guidance etc state that prior to the murder?
- Taught to project false appearace  Ludicrous
- Used as a decoy or pawn by her parents and a scapegoat for parental misconduct    She could have left the parental home at legal age
- Her conduct in school were good   Remains to be heard
- Her grades were better than average     NOTE:  she did not graduate HS
- She participated in sports   Whoopie!  PS is screwing as many guys as possible considered a sport, just asking LOL
- When employed she was a good hardworking employee    Until she got fired & never worked again since
- She loved Caylee and Caylee loved her    What is Finnel's definition of love, love doesnt spite or deny
- She has been a good detainee in jail awaiting trial    Does she want a medal or a trophy to display in her cell?
- She has helped, tried to help......(gets cut off by JP)    What?  Locate her "missing" daughter NO Help her own defense YES

http://www.wftv.com/video/27868277/index.html

- Brain development

Finnell added brain development at the of the interrogation of the first potential juror   Did they do a brain scan before the murder?  After?

921.141 Sentence of death or life imprisonment for capital felonies; further proceedings to determine sentence. ---
http://home.c2i.net/sissel.norway/flori.html

My answer to Finnell's list below & my humble opinion, somewhat sarcastic in bold above

(6) MITIGATING CIRCUMSTANCES. Mitigating circumstances shall be the following:

(a) The defendant has no significant history of prior criminal activity.
(b) The capital felony was committed while the defendant was under the influence of extreme mental or emotional disturbance.
(c) The victim was a participant in the defendant's conduct or consented to the act.
(d) The defendant was an accomplice in the capital felony committed by another person and his participation was relatively minor.
(e) The defendant acted under extreme duress or under the substantial domination of another person.
(f) The capacity of the defendant to appreciate the criminality of his conduct or to conform his conduct to the requirements of law was substantially impaired.
(g) The age of the defendant at the time of the crime

Awwwww...Poor ICA, I think she just told Mumbles she does not like her bangs.  Trying to get a jury to hear about the death of her daughter and all she worries about is her bangs.

Brain development? now they are stretching it.

I'd be happy to yank the hair off her head and get rid of the bangs for her.

hope she's reading here!

What do you call that look Perry had on his face just before he announced a 10 minute recess.

He seemed like he was very unhappy.

If she didn't do it and it can all be explained in the first 3 mins of opening statements why has she been sitting behind bars for 3 years?
