MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - A prosecutor said Milwaukee Police ignored allegations of voter fraud for months after the 2008 presidential election. The Journal Sentinel uncovered an e-mail from Assistant District Attorney Bruce Landgraf to a city elections official. It said the police did nothing for 6 months about allegations of double voting, felons voting illegally, and other possible fraud that was referred by the DA’s office. And Landgraf doubted that police would ever investigate over 500 people who registered on Election Day, but whose addresses could never be confirmed. Landgraf refuses to elaborate on his e-mail, and DA John Chisholm says he’ll let the message speak for itself.
