good morning everyone!  anyone think the state made any headway yesterday?  i have yet to see/hear anything but eye and ear witness accounts on a pitch black night, many of which have been completely dismantled by the defense. 

i really tried to go into this with an open mind but as of now I see reasonable doubt all over the state's case.  i'm intersted if they have anything else to show that could sway me to think manslaughter.  there's no way they will get a 2nd degree murder conviction.

i think this judge is completely pro prosecution to the point that it's glaringly obvious.  IF george zimmerman is found guilty of a lesser offense like manslaughter, i wonder if she'll give him the max.  i bet she would

thank you thank you thank you for posting this.  i think many forget that the affidavit used to arrest zimmerman was built around what Jeantel said in that very very coercive environment.  imo the state attorney should be fined or disbarred for allowing that.  i hope the defense moves for a directed verdict after this, or at least after the defense presents its case if this is possible.  honestly this is just ridiculous.  i hope the jury understood the point west made with this witness, if not it will be addressed at length in closing arguments.  can't wait to see Mr. Crump on the stand

I have never heard of this.. it certainly seems like questionable judgement...more like professional malpractice...
With a case of this notoriety, it would seem that the state would have followed acceptable standards of practice.  We shall see what shakes out....

State went directly for 2nd degree, they did not put manslaughter on the table.

George Zimmerman is totally innocent. I'm 100% behind him

Rachel Jenteal just confirmed with what I thought all along: That Trayvon's Parents, Their Attorneys, Angela Corey, Bernie, Guy Etc. were ALL in this together in order to come up with some freakin' BS story to tell the media.

Trayvon Martin's parents (IMO) are NO better than George & Cindy are.

Seems like they were after $$$$$ from the get go.

Seriously, I hope all of George's charges are dropped and he sues the living hell out of every one of them.
