Goodmorning All~

Was playing catch up this morning and noticed a few things with this photo of Caylee by the patio door~


If you look at the picture with what we are assuming is Caylee, the corner of the cabinet is much closer to the light switch.  The photo on the right shows a larger distance between the corner of the cabinet and the lightswitch..

Also, there's a shadow above the cabinet, which may indicate something is hung on the wall above it- in the photo on the right, there is a round picture which I don't think would cast a shadow that far.

Smoke and mirrors?  I think so.

That is Caylee. I remember a face on view pix with that scarf thingy on her head (or one similar). I don't think the photo has been photoshopped in any way.

Nut could you add desdemonas find on page 130 last thread? Almost positive she found caylee wearing those shoes.

I think it's been stretched vertically - the girl looks too "thin" to be Caylee.  Caylee was like my little munchkin - a chunky monkey!

I'm beginning to think something really is there about the abuse charges - Lee.  I think Cindy & Lee agreed to throw Baez a bone by helping the defense if they would drop those allegations.  Either Cindy kept the fact that she was going to help Casey from her until the last minute or Casey is a he77 of an actress because her tantrum after Cindy testified was real.  If she knew her mother was going to turn around and lie for her the next week I don't think she would have had that meltdown.  Okay, back to bed now - just had to get that off my chest LOL

The shoes look similar in that they are black & white.  But aren't the same shoes IMO... if you look closely at where the black & white is on them.

Ahhh shoes or no shoes, that doesn't change the fact that Casey murdered her baby. I'm praying for justice and I have faith in Jeff and Linda. I hope the jury sees the truth!

Same thing I was saying to myself the whole time yesterday while they droned on and on about baby showers and poor Lees hurt feelings.

She was drugged and never woke up .

Can you imagine how emotionally worn out the jurors and all the players in this trial must feel by this point? Think of the toll it is taking on many of us who are on the "outside looking in". I am sure they are emotionally exhausted, and then for the jury members to have such a huge decision facing them. Prayers going up for all the players in this emotional roller coaster, especially the jury.

did anyone watch a show last night that Geraldo was on? sorry I was flipping channels and not for sure which one I saw him on..
He was "speaking" through Bozo! Bozo didn't have to give an interview...Geraldo spoke for him...how the judge is not letting him get his witnesses in blah blah blah..
even said that he talked with the judge...bet JP wouldn't appreciate his spouting off..

It just really hit me this morning how emotionally exhausted they all must be....

bailiffs are there..just saw Mason..Bozo went into the back where Casey is..all her attorneys are going back there now..door is open, can see them sitting in a room..

Wasn't there a juror who had a trip planned for the 4th of July? Or did that person make the jury? I am out of coffee and have to run get some so I can think straight, but don't want to miss anything....

Even if it seems like this family is highly dysfunctional.. which it is..  is that really enough to erase the fact that Casey's child was rotting out in the woods, her  jaw attached via duct tape, a car smelling like decomp, Casey partying it up,  the lies upon lies to the cops, and blaming an innocent woman for kidnapping?

Morning all.  I cannot even imagine how exhausted they all are.  I worry about the pros team and how much of a toll this must take on them.  I do not know how they let it go at the end of the day, and I am sure many times they don't.  There must be many evenings that they miss being with their families, while they work on this case.  I hope they are raised up and can feel the love and gratefulness we send them. ::MonkeyAngel:: ::MonkeyAngel:: ::MonkeyAngel::

Is it possible that the Ant fam tried to hide Casey's pregnancy from Lee if it is in fact true that he got a girl pregnant and he was upset that she either lost it or did away with and they didn't want him to feel worse?  If there is such competition between Casey and Lee then I def can see Casey going to that guy and saying "hey, my brother is sleeping with your wife and she is pregnant, wanna pay her back and get it on?"!!! I feel like the jury's going to be so upset with them wasting all their time with their lies they might have ZERO symphathy for them in the penalty phase. Jean also says that she was watching the jurors and they are not buying what the defense is trying to do here...with the A;s changing stories?

A Saturday when I can finally watch and they're all walking out of the courtroom when I turn it on!  Dagnabit! 

All I can see of defense strategy thus far is they are trying to confuse the jury with a lot of meaningless testimony.  And yesterday when I heard Byass say the defense would take 5 more days I about fell out of my chair! 

How many times is Baez going to be allowed to flat out ignore the Court's order on evidence?

It is obvious at this point to all that he just ignored Perry's court order and figured, there is no way Perry would disallow it thinking that it would be an appealable situation. Nice ethics Jose.

He's just going to say what he did in the deposition that Dominic Casey picked him to go find Caylee's body. Notice it's not DC they're calling. Hoover's testimony is to just create enough confusion in the jury by stating the body wasn't there when they searched the area.
However, iirc, they never searched the exact area but close to it.

Wow Casey is pissy now lol. At least Judge Perry didn't drag the SA's back for this little come to Jesus meeting. 2 weeks have been wasted on nothing but lies and sidebars. The jury should already have this case in deliberations and home.
Does anyone know that when they reach their verdict of quilty will they have to stay sequestered til the penalty phase is done or can they render a verdict and their recommendations for the penalty at the same time? You know Bozo is going to drag the penaly phase out as long as he can.

This is the bombshell they will leave the jury with? "As a defense we are too stupid to live"?  The jury knows full well it is JB that is screwing up the works.

So much for Judge Perry's time line of how the rest of the trial was supposed to go in finishing up next week.

With Baez and the Defense never being prepared to start court with having witnesses that did not follow court's order, looks like the timeline is shot to hell for next week.

Isn't it interesting that only "emotional" testimony witnesses that the Defense gets right. When it comes to evidence and factual ones they are an unmitigated disaster. Shows that their case is all based on the BS of the A's circling the wagon for Casey and not fact.

Even if it was Caylee, it does not mean she had the strength to open or close that door. Sometimes the sliding glass door would be left open to let the airflow in the house, according to Cindy's testimony. In that pic, the child was merely reaching for the handle, maybe to try to open it wider or close it, but I doubt she'd have the strength to do it especially she has to reach up in that way, putting her off balance.

  The person who was supposed to testify today, tried to get in new information.. had a slide show ready, had new information on source of odor (in trunk, I'm guessing) and then somethng about chloroform that was not given in his deposition. State only had like 10 minutes to review it..   Baez said he'd be willing to tailor this Dr's testimony in order to get him to testify, but the judge said he wanted to read the new report and see if there was any new info in it.

ValHall of The Hinky Meter has done a marvelous job outlining the breakdown of Dr. Furton’s “hypocracies” as she calls them.  What I take issue with, in addition, is the fact that Dr. Furton, in my opinion, was less than forthcoming about when he was contacted by the defense, or when HE contacted the defense with additional discovery for his anticipated testimony.  He refers to an additional dissertation that was conducted by his student, after his deposition on February 19, 2011 and prior to mid-March.  I was forced to watch this multiple times, you cannot make me write about it in detail, now as well.

In summary: Dr. Furton screwed the pooch here.

The reality is, available research grants would probably do better to train their applicants to cage-fight for cash they are so fiercely competitive. Simply put, Furton wants a bigger allowance than Vass based on work preformed by his students, WHICH BY THE WAY feature Dr. Vass’s peer reviewed articles Furton is trying to debunk in the first place.  Good Luck with that Fredo.

Jurors will do one of two things, they will either understand and except the Scientific deficits in the area Furton posesses, or they will see him as an opportunist.

If the photo is stretched then the perspective is still the same.  Her hand on the handle is still in the same place.  In other words, if she is taller then the handle is higher also.  Not much point in stretching it.  The only other way would be to overlay just the stretched image of the child and that would be detected immediately.  JMO

A contempt charge on any member of the defense team is noted on all their records iirc. And Mason was so proud that he never had a contempt charge on his record.

a plea deal in the works would make sense in that this delay must be important to waste so much of the jurors time and the secrecy surround the delay.  The thing that doesn't make sense is the urgency in stopping the trial so the atty's can discuss a plea deal unless there was a very realistic chance that it would occur.  The fact that the defense had witnesses line up this morning to testify today doesn't make it seem like they were seriously considering a plea deal today.

i just don't think the judge would waste the jurors time by sending him to jail now.  later maybe, but not in the middle of a trial.  The more free time this jury has the more danger of some type of jury misconduct.  They don't want the jury sitting around all day saturday with nothing planned unless there was no way to avoid it.  I wouldn't doubt some serious consequences for Baez after the trial but not now not for what we have seen so far.

Looking at this logically, I think it is some kind of accusation against the State. It was something Mason said to the judge which provoked it and I don't think Mason would rat out his own side, although by law he would be required to do so.  While I never thought the judge would back up his order of all day on Saturday, I don't think this was just a ploy to close up shop.  It seems that court was planned to be in session until 3:00 or 3:30, not the full day the judge decreed, but longer than previous Saturdays and the judge planned to at least back up this threat somewhat. In the past he has made threats but failed to carry them out.

So, IMO, it is serious and it has to do with something the State has done.  I have the utmost respect for Ashton, Drane-Burdick and George, so if I am right, I am sure if they have done something which caused this, it would have been done inadvertantly and innocently.

But like everyone else here, I just don't know.  I hope I'm wrong.

Also, I do not believe that picture to be genuine.  If it is Caylee and it has been stretched, there could be only one purpose for having done so and that would be illegal.  However, I don't think it's Caylee.  I think it is another child entirely and set up specifically to mislead the jury,  or that it is an early picture of Casey.  As another poster said, what would be the purpose of taking a picture from behind of a child opening a sliding glass door?  No innocent reason, IMO. The purpose for entering this picture as evidence seems to be to demonstrate that Caylee could open the door and therefore cast doubt on the State's theory and reinforce the idea that she drowned in the pool by accident.

Before I leave for the day, I also want to say that Linda Kenney Baden is an idiot. I think when they did all that liposuction, they vacuumed out part of her brain.

my hubs said something very important..most people do not see the court proceedings online like we do..they only see what is on InSessions and HLN which always cuts out to commercials at crucial times, has biased talking heads on there who talk over the court proceedings etc...if you don't watch it online, you could get a very different opinion on the evidence and the court testimony...me thinks that he is correct!

As court concluded on Friday, Baez accused Ashton of prosecutorial misconduct and asked for a mistrial.

Baez accused Ashton of calling defense witness Robert Rodriguez's supervisor at the Department of Defense, prompting Rodriguez to be told he would lose his job if he testified. Ashton said Rodriguez's supervisor contacted him, and both sides agreed to let Rodriguez go home.

Earlier Friday, Casey Anthony's mother, Cindy Anthony, testified about Caylee's use of the Anthony family pool. The defense said in opening statements that Caylee drowned in the pool on June 16, 2008.

Anthony, 25, is charged with first-degree murder in Caylee's death. If convicted, she could face the death penalty.

I was thinking about the same juror, and I'm sure JP was too, hence the desire to get it all done by the 4th. I wonder if he's legally able to excuse her for that reason. Was #CaseyAnthony offered plea by State? Would make sense, recognizes likelihood of lessor jury verdict, but avoids appeal and retrial.

For whatever it's worth, here's my best OPINION about the photo. I don't think it's just resized to stretch. The electrical outlet looks stretched AT THE TOP only. The left shoe shows a double back tab. Both arms should equal in length from elbow to wrist and the left one looks longer to me.

She wouldn't cry over anything except herself.  Which is what led me to assume Byass is out.  (she wouldn't cry over him being sanctioned ... that's all about him.  she would only cry if he quit and she wouldn't see him all the time ... that's all about her.)

But now I hear on HLN that no one saw her crying ...

Is it at all possible that the shock was because the defense is accusing the judge of something improper?  (They think he hasn't given them enough time, has maybe taken sides with the state, etc...)

She wants to push this on Ashton & CJBP that means the defense knows they are in deep manure.   What does the defense do when they are in trouble, they spin.  If Ashton received a call AFTER Rodriguez got on the stand to lie & present an opinion not in a report from the DOD, he did nothing wrong by bringing it to the attention of the witness and the defense.   IMHO, that is not witness intimidation or tampering.   BOTH the defense team & Rodriguez should be the only ones in question here.

Not to mention this isnt the only witness that the defense either did not provide an appropriate report with all opinions in but knowingly put forward that expert's misrepresentations of themselves and/or their expertise.

LKB can try to tarnish this fine Chief Justice but someone should remind her that he has never been reversed on appeal.   He wont lose the jury, but she just gave something away but reminding us that one juror had plans to go to Europe 7/7...wishful thinking on her part.

I vote for sanctions of Baez or he's kicked out and/or the picture.

IMO couldn't it be vv. and the defense altered/didn't enter correct material into the Court and not told or was altered and told to the prosecution=mistrial
