Are you ready for this, I need help, my husband isn't answering his cell phone. I opened the dryer to get the clothes out and I smelled gas. But the dryer plugs in the wall, but I smell gas. Do I call the gas company? I don't want to call until someone says that it is the right thing to do, so they don't think I'm crazy

Thank-you. I'm so sick of just rolling with the punches, I wish just one day there could be peace and quiet. Now at 11 I have that plaster man coming also.

O.K.,now I am really getting worried about JSM.Has she taken the Ting Tings and left us for a new dashing young man?
What about Josef? Does he know where his mom is?

LOL about coffee and balm!  I wonder where she is too?  There better be a darn good reason why she has not checked in, she must know we monkeys are worried, doesn't she realize we are old and nervous?  The only excuse will be that some knight in shining armour swept her off her feet.

I hear ya why is there always something that interrupts our normal little lives, I hate that.  Take a deep breath - call the gas company and see what they say.  One thing at a time.

I called, and the recording says if it is an emergency to say loud into the phone EMERGENCY, which I did, and it must have been loud and clear I got a technician right away. She took all my info and said someone will be out today, but didn't say what time. Before we hung up she says to me don't hang around by the dryer  what the he!! did she think I was going to pull up a chair and sit there and  all day. And she also asked me if I just smelled the gas or heard it leak also. I told her just the smell

OMG seriously - dah and while you are sitting there with your wine by the dryer you may as well have one of these .

My grandmothers house blew up with her in it when i was 7.She was in the hospital for months...true story.Horrifying.
Maybe your pilot light went out.
My pilot light has gone off in my fireplace before and I just shut the valve and aired the room out.

I am waiting for my sister to call me.We have a painting job to do at my mom's.I am so available.I would paint with my tonugue if I have to to get away from here.

OMG Trimm that is awful - I am so sorry that happened, her injuries must have been horrible, gas explosions are devastating that is for sure.
