It just seems like this is happening more and more, but in actuality, I am probably just more aware of it now.

I just got off the phone with my friend who went to Aruba last week and came back on Saturday.  I said well how did you like it.  She was very nervous about being robbed.  She said she was so disappointed and would have to seriously think about going back there.  I said when was the last time you were there and she said 3 years ago and it has changed so much.

- She said one evening she went to a restaurant (El Gaucho) and she heard a couple talking about a break in.  She went over to someone at the restaurant and asked what happened and apparently someone broke into their car (smashed their window) and took some stuff of theirs.

- On the plane ride coming home she spoke to another woman and she left her stuff in the glove compartment and they took the whole car.  This woman was frantic because she had no money and her credit cards were in the car.  She said she filed a police report and it took them over an hour to respond.

- She went to another restaurant and she found all these extra charges on her bill.  She called the lady over and asked them to explain what one of the charges were and the woman said well this goes to the restaurant and this is for the employee’s salary.

- She went to another restaurant and it seemed so desolate.  She was very afraid.  Someone suggested to her if you are going to go to this particular restaurant make sure you go at 5 before it gets dark.

I know a family that was robbed over there while riding on one of the buses. A pickpocket cleaned them out,on the bus. Also, they rented a car and had to put a deposit of $500.00 down. When they took the car back, the rental place accused them of damaging the car (which they insisted they didn't) they did not get their $500.00 back.

Bad news AZSunny I think maybe they have located the body of the young girl. I am so sorry for her family. What a tradgedy....once again.

You know, I found her myspace site today (it's set to private) but it said she was online?  Maybe someone was checking her myspace site for clues and signed on with her name?

Elaine the car rental damage scam happens in a lot of places. Any time we rent a car we take pics of the inside & outside from all angles b4 we ever get into the vehicle & make a rep from the company stand there while we do it.

I'll bet that is it. Someone checking for clues. Those parents prob. feel awful because they were in Mexico. So sad.

I saw an article on her being missing at the Fox website.  So I searched for he myspace site and found it.  I'm sure it was hers.   Someone was online at the time.  Could have been a family member.

That is a great idea.  I would never have thought to do that.  I normally walk around and ask them to note anything I see.

There was a forensic psychologist on Hannity tonight talking about sociopaths and why they tell such outrageous lies.  They lack feelings and so do not intuitively feel when another person is lying.  Therefore, they don't understand why we don't believe them.  They don't get the gut feeling they are being lied to themselves because they don't get feelings normally or nearly as much as normal people.

That is why they can also inflict pain on others, lack of empathy.  They don't feel for others and so while they might regard it as a curiosity, they don't feel the pain of another the way a normal person would do.

He went on to describe this lack of feelings as the main trait of a sociopath.

Does that explain Joran's lying and changing his story to see if he is believed on the new one or what???  Of course this guy was talking about Cutts but it fit Joran also to a "T"!

Also the former gf of Bobby Cutts was on and she had gone to court three times to get restraining orders against him as once he injured her so badly she ended up in a neck brace.

She started crying because she feels guilty she was not able to stop this creep.  It was so pitiful and I felt so sorry for her.  She has been terrorized by him for 11 years following only a 4 month relationship with him.

So now not only are these thugs entitled to kill women,  other women should be made to feel it is THEIR fault because they didn't stop him from harming somebody else?  

Is there a list somewhere of things females do that then entitles males to kill them more or less at will?  I am just furious at the negative remarks directed at Jessica but NOT at Cutts!  

What Cutts' uncle said about a Christian woman shouldn't be having children with a married man, etc. --wasn't the married man involved in there somewhere?  The much older, lying married man?  How did he get to be blameless in that?

I think men who obtain sex under false pretenses, lying, etc. should be held to the same fraud charges as for any other situation and there should be penalties for doing such things.  Only more severe than just material things.

Make it a crime, a form of rape by deceit and throw their sorry, lying asses in jail!

Of course, all too often, it is the duly wedded hubby doing the killing so that wouldn't protect those women.  Sorry, guys, but WTH!  This has to be becoming more common even though the stats don't reflect it.
