I swear our school district has lost their collective minds.  Note brought hope yesterday from Daughter's school:

To all Parents/ Guardians

Please note that objects brought onto the school bus must pertain to school activity. Objects larger than 13" x 13" x 23" are not to be transported on the school bus.  Articles that can not fully contained within a backpack also may not be transported.  Blah...blah....blah.......

plastic or paper bags are not acceptable......blah....blah....blah

Students must be able to hold all of his/her school items on his/her lap without them projecting out of the seating area into the aisle or another student's space......blah....blah...blah

OK...so daughter's back pack is larger than the dimensions and what about plastic and paper bags?  Are they worried that they will put the bags over the drivers head?

I'm glad I didn't ride the bus when I was a kid but when I was in the 7th grade.

  They would have had to double bag the heads of some of my bus drivers over the years, the word homely doesn't even cover it
