What's the concensus here?

1. Kowpokes will drop the suit against Dr. Phil and will be deposed for wrongful death?

2. Kowpokes will pursue Dr. Phil and will be deposed for wrongful death?

3. Kowpokes will drop suit and never show up for either case?

Never show up for either case and will have a judgement against them in wrongful death. They'll never be able to keep a dime that they ever earn after that.

That's what I am afraid of, too, Carnut.  I don't see them coming to this country at all if they can avoid it and likely they can do so.

What I want is the whole thing covered daily on Court TV with Kalpoes in the witness stand.

Like Joran, they seem to have begun to believe their own lies.

My guess is that if the 2K's default on the wrongful death suit, and a judgment is filed against them, this would provide fodder for a criminal trial in Aruba or Netherlands.  Jossy seems very convinced that this will go to trial in Aruba.  Jossy is, in my opinion, the one person with his hand on the pulse of Aruba and this case.  I tend to believe him.   Laughing

Guess we'll see, shan't we?

Yup.  I think we'll have all sorts of trials in the next six months or so--a veritable surfeit of court room drama!

Was Deepak over the age of 21 in 2005?

Yep.  Deepak's DOB:  October 6 1983

So would he have been  contributing to the delinquency of a minor by going to the casinos with Joran and driving him around to bars?

No, they cannot be forced to testify there, but the Refugees would pay to harm one of them.  We have seen what they did with one of the MB graduates, just a mere child, and that gang of sluts and nuts were going to "beat her up."  Crazy and criminal can be dangerous.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought I heard they wanted her to settle out of court on that beef thing and she refused to because she knew she was right, which she was.  That's just freedom of speech, her bill of rights guarantees her that and taking it to court (the beef people) in this case were nuts.

I don't know much about license to practice law but do about medicine.  There is the FLEX or Federal Licensing Exchange which is a really super hard test and once a physician passes it, he can practice in any state that reciprocates in this program which is most of them.  Merely a matter of filing for a license which is very routine and short.

I would assume lawyers have an even easier time and living in a Tri State area know most of them hold this and multiple state licenses.

.

Well, I'm familiar with reciprocal licenses (both medical and law), but that typically involves adjoining states, and more specifically, professionals near the borders who want or need to serve a multi-state clientele.

(Also - military physicians can practice in any state without a license. And sometimes doctors get licenses in state where they have a vacation home, or where the parents live, etc. - they can combine locums assignments with vacation ...)

But really, medicine doesn't exactly change from state to state, the way the law does.

I'm not disagreeing, just wondering who's going to be on first, second, and third if the Kalpoe suit goes to trial. And still wondering if Posner $$ is being poured into this (Chicago connection).

Meanwhile, Ks will need a whole nother team to defend in the wrongful death suit. A 30-yr-old insurance atty. would not be the optimum choice ...

What an exciting day and night. I am hoping and praying these lawsuits can finally bring fourth some real truth and closure for the Holloway-Twitty's. It's way over due.

G'night everyone and God bless~

Wouldn't that be a show if the 2K's actually came to LA and put their butts in a witness chair in a court room?  That would be a humdinger.  Do you think they are greedy enough for the promised fame and fortune to actually do this?  Something tells me I have seen stranger things before...   Laughing

Question: Can Kowpokes show up for Dr. Phil and not for wrongful death?

Wouldn't that just result in Dave and Beth getting any settlement money obtained in the Dr. Phil case?

Would Kowpoke's atty still receive their 1/3 before being distributed elsewhere?

I think they have painted themselves into a corner. So number 2.

Think back to the florida voting fiasco.  most of those lawyers were from Texas or New York.

They will go for the money.  There is no turning back now, Momma Kalpoe needs a new dress.

But then they would have to prosecute Paulus for contributing to his delinquency by taking him to bars and casinos, so they cannot do that.  Paulus is the man who knows the "fixer."

But CBB, not even car insurance allows for that.  If they decide to take it to court, they will but if they decide to settle out of court and you don't go along with them, you are on your own as far as any pay outs, etc.  They won't even pay your lawyer if you try to take it to court against their decision.

I just hope this insurance company thinks it is a piece of cake and will decide to take it to court.  THEN we will see some fur fly!

I'd forgotten that, Tyler, and yes, you are right! That would encourage me to think that if Oprah WANTED to see this through, and the insurance company wanted to settle.............Oprah would win.

No, and this girl was not even on the trip, just a friend.  I will not name her here, because I would not want to do that for her own protection.
