When it hits 40 in the Midwest in the winter, that is a heatwave, bring out the shorts type of weather 

Here in Texas.... when it hits 40, this old Texas gal shivers.... we are used to blood boiling temps in the 100s in the summer so by the time winter gets here our blood is too thin I guess... or so they say. Only 6 more shopping days til Christmas... is everyone done yet? 

Dear Santa, please send elves... need help.

Exactly bananas, that is why I am freezing my behind off right now.  I haven't even started shopping yet.

Yes.... brrrrrrr..... I am almost done with my shopping... did a lot of it online.... you getter get busy.... sending some elves to help you...... 

I will probably get up early and hit Kohls and Walmart tomorrow if I don't get it done today.

I have all this wrapping to do now... that is what I really need elves for.  I will spend a whole day sitting in the middle of the den with paper, ribbon tape and scissors everywhere and probably even in my hair til I get them all wrapped.  Even though this is a yearly ritual, for some reason it is my least favorite part of Christmas.  It will be great fun to watch the grandbabies open them though.  I have twin grandababie who are almost a year old.... this is going to be an exciting Christmas for our family.

I just thought about going there because they open early or at least they did a couple of Christmases ago. I really don't know what to get anyone in my family. I was going to get my brother and his gf ski lessons, but they are very expensive and I wouldn't be spending that much on my sister and her husband. Plus I have the nephews I have to buy for too. I really want to find me a Saints hoodie for my present to me.

That sounds like a good idea JSM    I'm lucky because my youngest daughter hasn't cared about celebrating Christmas for years, her birthday is three days after Christmas, now that she wants to celebrate, better not forget that.

I did buy a few gift cards this year but I have toys for the grandkids too.

Where has JSM been all these years, she could have wrapped our presents for us. My mom would wrap some presents when the kids were smaller, but as they grew, some were wrapped and some were in black trash bags with ribbon on them

Can't forget the toys, that is for sure, many Christmas's spent buying toys

ha ha ha... I love it!  I don't know about yall.... but when I was a little girl, my presents from Santa were not wrapped... just under the tree.  When I got older the presents were wrapped.
