The commissioner explains that every tip is assigned a number and if the tip results in being very good, the person can earn a reward, however the fund Dompig speaks of is a fund from people around the world, especially America, who have contributed with much money to help the family with expenses related to the case, that has now reached some million dollars.

According to Dompig, another important question is how this money is not used to help with payments of, for example, those who come to conduct searches in Aruba.

Commissioner Dompig showed as an example the tremendous work of Fred Golba made with his two dogs some time ago and explains that Golba wants to come back to continue searching.

Given that he is looking for funds to pay for his ticket and stay in Aruba to come search, how can he not find funds from the millions that Beth Twitty has from the fund?

This is what I was remembering but didn't want to say too much about for fear of appearing to dis someone the family, well at least part of it, has commissioned for a search.

And I suspect Tim Miller is too exhausted to go there at this time as well.

But it was the concept of Dompig demanding payment for Goldba from Beth for something Beth didn't commission.  Couldn't he pay out of the millions and millions Aruba CLAIMS to have spent on this?  Or was that only for ALE to claim as overtime for the eating of Frosted Flakes and such?

... and Fred Golba undermine the work of Tim Miller when he was a guest on either Nancy Grace or Rita Cosby.  One of these hosts went up one side of him and down the other and ... he backed down.

I have the interview saved somewhere.

At the time ... Gerold Dompig and Fred Golba were thisclose while Tim Miller was distanced.

But I'm also finding it difficult to believe that there is someone on this planet who is sick and evil and mean enough -- to do this to Dave Holloway. Again.

And I think what was happening was a determination of just exactly what techniques, in terms of specificity, could one investigator bring to bear versus another?  And, of course, Dompig and Fred have established a strong rapport and a great deal of trust between them, and that‘s why he is there.

The best I can remember on Gobil is he is the "only" one ALE would allow to search with dogs.  They would not and did not let Tim after a certain point come back in and search, only Gobil.  I guess Dave had no other choice but to use Gobil because Tim or anyone associated with Tim would not be allowed to come on their island and search.

Now my question is how and why the members of the Persistence became involved in a pond search, witnesses and why did Aruba allow them to become involved when they wouldn't let Tim?  The members of the Persistence, to me, lacked the expertise to become involved in a murder investigation and Tim and crew was totally qualified for that work yet they were left out in the cold.

This because a case such as Natalee’s has different scenarios. One scenario is that a person killed Natalee, or for whatever reason she is no longer living.

Another scenario is that she is alive, but everything in the case is a ‘set up’, to profit in one way or another.

One possibility for example is that they said she is deceased, and they can collect the life insurance money, while in reality she is not deceased, but another way is that with collecting funds from people with good intentions that send money for the fund and the family enriches themselves.

If the mother gives information about how much money there is and how much money she is spending, he has no problem with this. However, if the mother has everything secret, this becomes part of the investigation because it puts the case in a different light.

A new search for the remains of missing US teenager Natalee Holloway will get under way in Aruba this weekend. Dave Holloway, father of the missing girl, has sent a specially trained tracker dog to the island. Mr Holloway is concentrating the search at a flooded dam.

The Aruban authorities believe the search is a waste of time but have agreed to co-operate. The public prosecutor's office says it will take a few more months to conclude the enquiry into Natalee Holloway's disappearance.

Natalee Holloway disappeared on 30 May 2005, on the final night of her high school graduation trip to the Caribbean island. In 2008, Dutch student Joran van der Sloot was secretly filmed confessing that he saw her die on the beach and had a friend dispose of her body. He later told police that his story was a lie.

CHICOPEE, Mass. (abc40) -- There is a new lead in the case for missing teen Natalee Holloway and a Chicopee man is leading the investigation.  Fred Golba runs Coast to Coast Canine.  He specializes in finding bodies and has found hundreds of remains around the World.  Golba is also the Chief of Field Operations for the Natalee Holloway Foundation.  He has been searching for the girl since she went missing in 2005.

Friday, Golba left for his ninth trip to Aruba on behalf of the Holloway family.  In an exclusive interview with abc40, Golba says a witness has just come forward with new information about lead suspect Joran van der Sloot.  He says the person saw van der Sloot the night Natalee went missing, covered to his chest in mud and missing a sneaker.  Golba says that according to the witness, van der Sloot dumped Natalee's body in pond near the hotel where she was last seen.

Golda plans to comb the Aruban pond for any signs of Natalee's remains or van der Sloot's sneaker.  He says, "I want to stick in my arm from my elbow to my shoulder and feel for bones and Joran's sneaker...If we can find that sneaker in there than that whole pond becomes a crime scene and changes the playing game."

He is cautiously optimistic about the prospects of finding Natalee saying, "I have more confidence in this pond than anything I've ever done in the eight trips I've been on this island...There is a possibility of finding skeletal remains of Natalee Holloway in there."

It will not be an easy job.  The pond is a black abyss, 15 feet deep at parts.  Golba will rely on his dog Rhino to assist.  Rhino is certified in detecting human remains.  Golba says, "If I miss it by hand, hopefully he'll pick it up by scent."     

Golba describes his knack for searching as a gift from God.   A gift he cannot ignore or abandon. While he has embarked on thousands of endeavors similar to his quest to find Natalee Holloway, he says "It's not about how many searches you do it's about how many successes you have."

Those pictures portray the outcome of Paulus and Anita shielding their son from the consequences of his actions ... not holding him accountable.  Joran never learned because he was never taught that the legal and moral boundaries of a civilized society applied to him.  Think about his lifestyle at the age of 17 years of age.  Joran was already spinning out of control.

There has to be a time when the possible recovery of remains is not a secret, un-documented transaction between a
friend or associate of ALE and ALE.

You nailed it.  And now I am sure they don't speak to the kid.  Sad thing is it looks like the next 2 are going down the same path.  Someone posted that old photo of Paulass when he was a young man.  It was uncanny how much son #2 (Valentine?) looks like his Dad.  Going to bars and gambling as kids is killing Aruba - look at the drug use.  Look at the crime.  The "elders" are killing their own.

NATALEE HOLLOWAY FOUNDATION

We are now approaching two years since the disappearance of our daughter, Natalee Holloway. I expect there will be many new developments in our case, prior to May 30th 2007. I continue to remain positive and confident there will soon be resolution.

During this brief pause, I want to express my great appreciation for the tremendous support of the many dedicated persons who have provided untold time and effort to our cause.

Over the past year, several individuals and myself developed a non-profit organization. The primary purpose of this foundation is to assist other families that need assistance in location and/or recovery of missing/endangered family members.

Although we are committed to seeking justice and resolution for our daughter, we also desire to reach out and assist others who are also in dire need of assistance and support. We are all here to help.
