Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney Stephen P. Sokoloff also filed a notice of statutory aggravating circumstances which is a procedural step that is required of him if at one time the Prosecutor's office wishes to seek the death penalty in the case.

 Senath firefighters responded to a structure fire this morning (Tuesday, Dec. 14) that turned out to be the home of alleged child murderer Shawn Morgan, 43.

Suspect enters plea of not guilty during today's arraignment hearing

Morgan has been charged with the death of Rodriguez and is facing multiple charges which include felony counts of first degree murder, armed criminal action, tampering with physical evidence in connection with the case, felony A kidnapping and a class C offense of possession of child pornography.

Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney Stephen P. Sokoloff has also filed with the courts a notice of statutory of aggravating circumstances in case the death penalty becomes a consideration.
