But Eric Holler, the 44-year-old Jacksonville, Florida, man who runs the "murderabilia" website said it doesn't matter; people still have an interest in owning a piece of Anthony because she was turned into a celebrity thanks to the media attention surrounding the case.

Holler said the items he's selling came from a garage sale held by Anthony's parents. A woman who bought the items reportedly told Holler she wanted to "wash her hands" of them.

"She wanted to document that the Anthonys were selling this stuff," Holler said. "She got bashed and I’m getting bashed. The Anthonys? They get a free ticket."

Holler wouldn't reveal how much he gave for the items but said he paid the woman what she originally paid -- plus shipping. She wasn't interested in making a profit, according to Holler, who admits that for him, the profit is what it's all about.

Andy Kahan, a man who works for the Houston Police Department Crime Victims Assistance Division, is just one of the many trying to stop the sale of these types of items. He said he has worked to get eight states to adopt laws that prohibit criminals from profiting from their crimes.

"From a victim’s perspective... this is absolutely the most nauseating and disgusting feeling in the world, to find out the person who murdered one of your loved ones now has items being bought by third parties," Kahan said. "I’m a firm believer in free enterprise and capitalism but I think you have to draw the line somewhere and from our perspective, this is where the buck has to stop."

Holler, however, said he never pays killers for their items, although he does admit to "helping" them out from time to time.

That poor child has been exploited since the day KC murdered her. It's the saddest thing; just breaks my heart. In her short years on earth, Caylee was the object of "battleground" jealousy, the excuse for some things, and resented for others. She was "inconvenient" and all sorts of things. The jury got all intrigued and tied up with "George did this or that", and Cindy was all twisted in her testimony to parse words to "protect" Casey and blah, blah. Even now, Caylee's death is a money maker. I just want to scream, "IT'S ABOUT CAYLEE AND THAT'S ALL!"

I'm so glad that we Monkeys and many, many others came to love Caylee and that her memory is respected, if not by those who should have loved her, then at least by strangers who wish they had known her. May God give her extra hugs every day and may her laughter make the angels smile!

Casey Anthony refused to answer "numerous" questions in a recent deposition by attorneys for a woman suing her for defamation, according to a new motion asking a judge to compel her to talk.

According to the motion filed by Zenaida Gonzalez's lawyers, the deposition was held Jan. 23 at the office of Cheney Mason, one of the attorneys who represented Anthony in her 2011 murder trial.

The motion doesn't say which questions Anthony refused to answer — her lawyers objected to the filing of a transcript — but it indicates that, for some, Mason invoked her Fifth Amendment rights.

Tony Pipitone, one of the finest reporters in Orlando TV history, is leaving WKMG-Channel 6. He will become an investigative reporter next month at WTVJ, the NBC-owned station in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale market.

Pipitone, 53, is moving to South Florida primarily for personal reasons, WKMG said.

Pipitone was also a familiar face on the Casey Anthony story. He said he was proud of a report showing that Anthony likely made a computer search for "foolproof suffocation" on the day that Caylee died.

"Over the last 26 years, this town has grown up quite a bit. So has the journalism," Pipitone said. "I was quite surprised when I first came here. The quality of reporting was quite low. People didn't investigate. I think you see it's evolved here and at other stations. The value of investigative reporting is obvious."

He was drawn to WTVJ because NBC is making a big push for investigative reporting at its owned stations. "They're going to have a serious commitment to investigative reporting, and lucky for me, they want me to be part of it," he said.

It will be interesting how the slippery one gets out of answering questions.

A bankruptcy judge will hear arguments next month on whether Casey Anthony should be compelled to answer the questions of attorneys for a woman suing her for defamation.

The hearing, set for March 4, follows a stalled Jan. 23 attempt by attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez to depose Anthony at the office of Cheney Mason, one of her criminal defense attorneys.

In a recent motion, Gonzalez's lawyers said Anthony refused to answer "numerous" questions during the deposition, with Mason repeatedly asserting her Fifth Amendment rights.

Gonzalez's lawyers argue that's not appropriate, because Anthony's prosecution in the death of her daughter is over.

I wish the same rule applied to criminal cases- seems to me it's common sense that if a defendant is not willing to talk about the case it is because he is hiding guilt!
If Casey talks she is screwed -  if she refuses, the Jury can assume guilt. Either way she's gonna be working for Zenaida for a few years- if there is ANY justice in Florida...

A transcript of the Jan. 23 deposition was filed in federal court Tuesday. It revealed often-combative exchanges between Anthony and attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman suing her for defamation.

Anthony refused to answer many questions, prompting Gonzalez's lawyers to ask a judge to compel her replies. A hearing on that motion is set for next week.

In the deposition, Anthony claimed that Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, the nanny she claimed had kidnapped her daughter, was a real person — someone she'd last seen in 2007 and who had baby-sat Caylee just once.

"I met her at Universal Studios in 2006 … through a mutual friend," Anthony says, adding: "We were friends a little over a year."

That woman didn't actually kidnap Caylee, she said. Neither did the woman suing her for defamation: "I completely agree," she said.

Keith Mitnik, an attorney for Zenaida Gonzalez, expressed skepticism of Anthony's claim that the nanny, who Anthony's defense attorney Jose Baez acknowledged was fictional at trial, was a real person.

"Now, is there any way in the world that you could suggest to me that I might find this person to see if she ever existed?" Mitnik asked Anthony.

Anthony replied: "I don't know if you could or not, sir."

Mitnik reminded Anthony that Baez said at trial that she had difficulty telling the truth: "Do you have a significant problem with not telling the truth?"

"No, sir, I do not," Anthony replied. She rejected the theory that "Zanny" was a code word for the prescription drug Xanax.

"I have never taken Xanax, I have never seen Xanax and I did not give Xanax or anything else to my child," Anthony said.

Anthony said it was an "interesting coincidence" that the Gonzalez currently suing her had filled out paperwork at the same apartment complex where Anthony told law enforcement she dropped Caylee off with the nanny.

"It's a place that I was familiar with because I had friends that used to live there," she said.

Some of Mitnik's questioning drew emphatic objections from Anthony defense lawyer Cheney Mason, who at times invoked Anthony's rights against self-incrimination.

"So at the time you were making up the entire story [about] Zenaida having Caylee, where was Caylee?" Mitnik asked.

"At the advice of counsel, I decline to answer any questions about my daughter," Anthony replied. "If you ask me again I will walk out of this room."

Several other lingering questions about Caylee's death also went unanswered or drew objections: When did Anthony know her daughter was dead? Did she invent the nanny to protect herself? Someone else?

Why, Anthony was asked, did she make up a story rather than tell detectives the truth about Caylee's whereabouts?

"That was my personal choice," Anthony said. But why? "I'm not going to answer that question."

The deposition was part of ongoing legal wrangling surrounding Anthony's Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Gonzalez argues her lawsuit should survive the bankruptcy because Anthony was "willful and malicious" in damaging her reputation.

At the crux of the suit are comments Anthony made to her mother, Cindy, during a jailhouse visit. Anthony allegedly said she hadn't ruled out Gonzalez as a suspect, information her mother relayed to reporters.

"I could very easily have been confused at the time, not having a picture of this person in front of me, not knowing who they were even speaking about," Anthony said.

Anthony said she didn't authorize her parents to represent her in the media: "I had zero control over that. I was in jail, Mr. Mitnik. I had no control over anything."

As the deposition neared its end, Anthony emphatically said she never blamed the woman suing her for Caylee's disappearance.

"That's never been the case and that will never be the truth. So let's get that straight right here and now. You can ask a hundred more ridiculous questions. I'm not going to answer them," she said. "I'm done here."

It’s a shocking ruling from the judge, after many were hoping Gonzalez’s case against Anthony and her subsequent deposition would force her to answer many unanswered questions about Caylee and her death.

It was requested in a motion that attorneys be allowed to ask Anthony specific questions about why she told police Gonzalez (the nanny) had her daughter when she knew that wasn’t true — but the judge denied the motion on Tuesday because there was a possibility her answer would incriminate herself on criminal matters, which she’s already been acquitted for.

Judge orders Casey Anthony to answer some questions in deposition

TAMPA, Fla. —
Casey Anthony's lawyers told a Tampa bankruptcy judge Tuesday that they're worried Anthony will face new charges if she's forced to answer every question under oath in her defamation lawsuit.

Anthony's lawyers said they are worried their client could be at risk for federal perjury charges if she answers all of the questions in the defamation lawsuit.

Anthony was acquitted of first-degree murder charges following a high-profile 2011 trial. She was charged in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.

Anthony wouldn't answer questions about her daughter when Zenaida Gonzalez's lawyers questioned her under oath during a January deposition as part of a civil suit.

Following her daughter's disappearance, Anthony initially said a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez took her.

Gonzalez's attorneys said Anthony was cold and angry when asked about Caylee during the deposition.

On Tuesday, the bankruptcy judge ruled that for now she does not have to answer those questions, but must answer questions about why she appeared to change her story and later deny she ever cleared Gonzalez in Caylee's disappearance.

Gonzalez's lawyers said they are disappointed.

"I think he's trying to be protective of this ultimate trial," said Gonzalez attorney Scott Shuker.

Anthony's lawyers believe Gonzalez is trying to set her up for federal perjury charges.

Sheaffer said if Anthony's answers in the case contradict what she told federal investigators in 2008 she could face a federal perjury charge.

The federal judge told Gonzalez's lawyers on Tuesday to call him immediately if Anthony keeps refusing to answer questions concerning what she said about Gonzalez. He said he would make sure she answers them.

Casey Anthony will not be forced to answer questions in a deposition about what happened to her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, who was found dead about six months after she disappeared in 2008, a federal judge in Tampa ruled Tuesday.

Although attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez, who is suing Anthony for defamation, cannot ask where Caylee was, they can question Anthony as to why she made up a story in which she accused a nanny named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez of kidnapping her daughter, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge K. Rodney May ruled.

"We're not thrilled with the ruling," said Gonzalez's attorney, R. Scott Shuker of Orlando. ::monkeyscissors::

Distressing pictures have been released showing Caylee Anthony's neglected memorial site that was meant to commemorate the little girl's life.

Caylee's body was found in 2008 and there is still no explanation for her mysterious death. Her mother Casey Anthony was cleared of her murder in 2011 but remains in court fighting defamation and bankruptcy charges. Zenaida Gonzalez - one of the witnesses in the original trial - is suing Anthony for defamation after Anthony told investigators a woman with that same name kidnapped Caylee in 2008.

And while Casey Anthony's legal and financial worries mount, the memorial site for her daughter sits abandoned and overgrown, with a fallen tree nearly destroying a cross erected to mark site where body was found.

Quite interesting. And I expected Casey and Cheney to have attitudes and dodge most questions, as they indeed did.

I didn't expect Mitnik to be so disorganized and have such problems forming questions. So much verbage and so few answers. He seemed quite challenged at times trying to form a question.

Seemed like the whole disposition was a, dare I say it? A huge waste of time. Okay, so I said it.

But it was interesting to read, for sure.

Six years after two-year-old Caylee Anthony was brutally murdered, her mother, Casey Anthony is playing the victim. RadarOnline.com has learned that Anthony has formally asked a judge to dismiss a defamation lawsuit filed against her, saying it’s “pure fiction,” and a waste of judicial resources for it to proceed. What’s more, she wants the plaintiff to pay her legal fees!

Zenaida Gonzalez sued Casey Anthony for defamation after she publicly claimed a nanny by the same name had kidnapped her daughter, Caylee Anthony in 2008.

According to court documents obtained by Radar, Anthony’s lawyers have asked that “This Court should enter summary judgment in favor of Casey Anthony, dismissing the Complaint with prejudice, and awarding Ms. Anthony costs and such other relief as is just and appropriate.”

“This fictional play, set in theatre of the absurd, has run all too long, needlessly wasting judicial resources,” the documents continue. “Zenaida Gonzalez’s efforts to dress herself up in the ‘nanny’s’ costume when reviewed by this Court in its natural sense without forced or strained construction, is pitiable, not actionable.”

Among the reasons Casey Anthony says the lawsuit should be dismissed is because she told cops the last person she saw with her daughter was “Zanny the nanny,” and that her name was Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. Anthony insisted she had met a woman with that name in 2006, through friends, and she had babysat for Caylee once before.

Zenaida Gonzalez admitted during her deposition that no one has ever called her “Zanny” and that she “never had more than one last name.”

Furthermore, Anthony argues that the information she gave to cops naming “Zanny” was “privileged information” and wasn’t done in a public forum.

Lies Lies and more lies.  What else does Casey Anthony ever do.  In this latest deposition she insists Zanny is real and she was introduced to her by Jesse Grund. ( We already know from Jesse's depos in the past that he had never met 'Zanny"). In the jailhouse conversation on July 25th 2008 she says 'Not to my knowledge' when Cindy asks her if Jesse knows Zanny.. Originally she told Police Jeff Hopkins introduced them, as Zanny babysat his son Zack( all fictional)  Jeff Hopkins testified that he knew who Casey was, but had never had a friendship with her, nor introduced her to Zanny.   So she has now merely updated her story...
She insists in the latest deposition that her mother was not her agent, she had not asked nor given permission for Cindy to talk to media on her behalf.  I guess she has already forgotten the conversation we all watched on July 25th 2008, where Cindy asks her what she wants her to say to media - Casey tells her...... then Cindy asks what she should say to Zenaida- Casey tells her 'tell her I forgive her'.   She tells her and George all the way through this visit what they should do and say on her behalf, and adds that Lee has also been instructed by her as to who to investigate.    If you watch Cindy, it's obvious she knows Casey is lying all the time -look at Cindy challenging Casey to look into her eyes at 1.59 in this video, she knows Casey is lying through her teeth.

On the eve of her sentencing that could set her free for the first time in nearly three years, a look back at Casey Anthony's jailhouse letters show that the 25-year-old may have more children upon her release.

"I had a dream not too long ago that I was pregnant," wrote Casey Anthony in one of more than 50 letters she sent to fellow inmate Robyn Adams between 2008 and 2009 when the two were housed in the Orlando County Jail in Florida.

"It was like having Cays all over again," she wrote, referring to her dead daughter, Caylee. "I've thought about adopting, which even sounds weird to me saying it, but there are so many children that deserve to be loved."

The letters were released in April 2010 by prosecutors preparing for Casey Anthony's trial. In more than 250 handwritten pages, Casey Anthony discusses life behind bars, what she misses most about her old life and what she hopes to do when she's released.

Casey Anthony, 25, was found not guilty Tuesday of murdering her daughter Caylee and could be released as early as Thursday depending on her sentencing on four guilty counts of giving false information to law enforcement.

And while one other case — Nelson Serrano — was high profile, none matched the attention of the Casey Anthony trial.

Cheney Mason served as co-counsel to lead attorney Jose Baez for the woman many referred to as "the most hated woman in America."

During our interview, thunder roared as if to distract our conversation, but Mason was not distracted. He laughed often and made no apologies for his stance on some serious topics.

He admitted the Anthony trial had changed his life in some respects. There were the threats: "Kooks threatening to kill me, my wife and my grandchildren because I had the audacity to defend her and win," Mason said.

There were anxious moments, but as he explained to me, if he says he's going to do something, he does.

"I told Mr. Baez when we talked and I agreed to be part of the team — I'll be the last man standing," he said.

He stood tall, but he says the trial did contribute to him having a stroke on Veterans Day almost three years ago. Now, he has a personal trainer and works out several days a week.

Retirement should be on his mind, but it isn't.

Mason said he tried it to live the retired life at 65, but it failed miserably.

Mason and his wife like to travel, he speaks three languages "in acceptable conversation," and they enjoy cooking.

If you would like to really get his dander up, ask him about how he feels about some of his colleagues, the judicial system and why he fought against cameras in the courtroom. As a sought-after speaker, he has occasion to speak to young people hoping to become attorneys. His advice to them will surprise you, as will how he would like to be remembered.

You'll always know where you stand with Cheney Mason, and he makes no apologies or excuses for why he thinks the way he does. He says he has no regrets about the Casey Anthony trial except that he spent many tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket for the pro bono case incurring over a million dollars in billable hours from which he collected not one dime.

The Casey Anthony trial did take a personal toll, defense attorney Cheney Mason reveals in a News 13 interview. Mason said he suffered a stroke on Veterans Day 2011.

According to reports that day, Mason asked to taken to a Daytona Beach hospital because he wasn't feeling well. He fell ill before a speaking engagement at Bethune Cookman University. The topic was to be mass communications, a topic he learned a lot about from successfully representing Anthony, who was acquitted in July 2011.

Makes me shiver to think how scared Caylee must have felt when she was being murdered.

This case came up while I was doing a background check on a new employee - she was from Florida and had done prison time. When I did that background check I found she had 2 to 5 for child endangerment - while I find it to be not enough time for her, the first thing my hubs said was WOW how do you get prison time for endangering your kid but not for killing them and dumping them in a swamp?  Good question. Hope CA lives everyday seeing the face of her sweet child as she killed her.

Now this is a book I might consider reading - written by Rick Namey, an Orlando author.  He was hired by Cheney Mason to write Casey's story - with expectations of making lots of $$$.  He quit right after the
'Foolproof Suffocation' searches done by Casey were discovered, having been convinced of her guilt.
Mason and Casey filed bankruptcy the next day, to avoid the Zenaida and Roy Kronk lawsuits.  According
to this guy, there were negotiations going on for interviews, Pay per view interviews ( worth Millions) and
a book, but Mason and Casey committed bankruptcy fraud when they swore in court to the Trustee that there
never were, nor any future deal was being considered. He says he has records and proof and has disclosed it
all to the Bankruptcy court, but nothing has been done.  It seems she has been living with Mason all this time, but Mason told the author they had to make some money as he "couldn't support her for ever".  Up to now of
course, all the money she is costing him is in some ledger so he can claim it back when/if they hit the jackpot.

I hope no takes this wrong...I would like nothing more than for everyone involved to "get theirs".    But I gave up reading about any of them because I honestly believe they will just keep living the high life; even Casey.

I have come to the conclusion that some people never pay for their wrong doings and they sleep like babies at night.   

I truly believe the worst Casey will ever endure is the loss of her youth.  She cannot go out and party,  her dating prospects are limited, etc.  She has to make do with those in her immediate circle.    Eventually when her youth is totally gone and she must make her own way,   she will simply live a quiet life without retribution or guilt.

The trustee handling Casey Anthony's bankruptcy said Monday that most of the $25,000 he has available to distribute should go to the trustee's attorney.

The $25,000 was loaned to Anthony by a friend so she could buy back the rights to her life story. The trustee had argued that those rights went to the trustee fund once Anthony filed for bankruptcy, and he had considered the possibility of selling Anthony's life story to help pay off her debts to creditors.

Anthony was acquitted in the murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. Her trial was broadcast live on cable television and garnered worldwide attention.

Anthony had almost $792,000 in debt when she filed for bankruptcy, with the biggest claim —$397,000 — coming from her criminal defense attorney, Jose Baez. The Internal Revenue Service is claiming more than $80,000.

Still unresolved are two defamation lawsuits filed by Gonzalez and Roy Kronk, the meter reader who found Caylee's body nearby where Casey Anthony lived with her parents. After Caylee disappeared in 2008, Anthony told investigators a baby sitter named Zenaida Gonzalez had kidnapped the toddler. The Kissimmee, Fla., woman sued Anthony, claiming her reputation has been ruined.

Kronk says he was defamed when Anthony's defense team made false statements, including that Kronk killed Caylee and that he moved the remains.

ORLANDO, Fla. –  The prosecutor who gained national attention as a key player in the unsuccessful case against Casey Anthony says he committed no crime on the cheating website, Ashley Madison, and will not resign his post.

Jeff Ashton, the State Attorney for Orange and Osceola counties in central Florida, said Sunday that he signed up for the site because he was curious but he did not have an affair. He asked for forgiveness for his bad judgment.

A bankruptcy judge has tossed out a defamation claim brought by a woman who says Casey Anthony smeared her reputation.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Rodney May issued an opinion on Thursday dismissing Zenaida Gonzalez's claim against Anthony.

The judge said Anthony's statement about a baby sitter was made with no intent to hurt Gonzalez and wasn't malicious. He called Gonzalez's claim "exaggerated" and said Anthony's statement about the baby sitter didn't affect the investigation into Caylee's disappearance.

"There is insufficient proof, as well, that the utterance of the statement was substantially certain to injure plaintiff, even if she was the person to whom debtor was referring in the statement," May wrote in his ruling.

ORLANDO, Fla. - The judge who presided over the casey anthony trial told News4Jax on Thursday that the Lonzie Barton case has uncanny similarities to the 2011 Orlando case that captivated the nation.

In that case, 2-year-old Caylee Anthony disappeared in July 2008 and her skeletal remains were found about six months later inside a trash bag in a wooded area. Her mother, Casey Anthony, was charged with and acquitted of murder in the case.

Former Judge Belvin Perry, who is now an attorney with Morgan & Morgan, said the most difficult aspect is the similar six-month time frames.

“It's going to be a very difficult road for the prosecution in this case,” Perry said. “I think the state attorney recognizes that by her comments.”

The Medical Examiner’s Office continues to work to identify the child's remains found this week and determine the cause of death. In the casey anthony trial, the medical examiner ruled Caylee’s death was by “undetermined means.”

“If you have a skeleton and you have a crushed skull, one could find that the child may have died as a result of blows to the head. But without some physical evidence, you would be totally left to speculate as to what the cause of death would be," Perry said. "When you prosecute a case where at this time, you don't exactly know what the cause of death is, you have a body that may have been badly decomposed or completely down to a skeleton, which may make it very difficult to determine the cause of death if they are ever able to."

He said that could lead to reasonable doubt from a jury in a trial.

“When a child is in the custody of multiple adults and we don't have a way to time the injuries, it's been a historic problem for us,” Corey said. “It's very difficult when there is more than one person involved and the cause of death is not immediately known.”

Ebron led police to the site where the remains were found and there were rumors a plea agreement had been reached Monday that would have had Ebron serving 20 years for aggravated manslaughter.

Perry said that as a former judge, he’s not sure he would have accepted a possible plea deal that early, because he said that Ebron had much of the power.

An address listed for the business is the West Palm Beach home of Patrick McKenna, a private investigator with ties to Anthony.

More than five years after a jury in Florida cleared Casey Anthony in the murder of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, a private investigator claimed the mom's attorney admitted she killed the girl and hid her body.

Dominic Casey made the claim in court documents that went public last month in Casey Anthony's bankruptcy case. He also suggested that the mom paid her lawyer with sex.

The investigator claimed attorney Jose Baez hired him days after police arrested the mom in July 2008. He said, "Baez had told me that Casey had murdered Caylee and dumped the body somewhere and, he needed all the help he could get to find the body before anyone else did."

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- Jose Baez will face no disciplinary action from the Florida Bar for his jailhouse incident with client Casey Anthony .

According to published reports, Baez was under investigation from the Bar. But spokesperson Susannah Lyle said that hugs are permitted by their rules between attorney and client as long as the client does not object.

According to Lyle, a Bar Association rule must be broken in order for there to be an investigation. At this point there is no Florida Bar investigation into the incidents.

Jail officials said Casey Anthony and her defense attorney, Jose Baez, were seen hugging on two separate occasions and were told both times that it was a violation of jail policy.

Though there is no surveillance video that would show the two hugging, jail officials confirm seeing the two touch on two different times.

The jail released the following statement:

Mr. Baez was observed hugging his client on two occasions. He was advised that this is a violation of jail policy. After the second incident, he was again advised of the policy and said he would remember in future visits not to engage in this behavior. Orange County Corrections considers this a closed matter."

No officers had to go into the room to separate the two, and the jail says the matter has been closed by the Corrections Department.

Casey remains behind bars at the Orange County Jail without bond. She is scheduled for a pretrial on a first-degree murder charge in December.

Orange County jail officials announced the plan Monday after Anthony, 22, met with a case manager at the jail to set her schedule for the week. Under terms of her home confinement, the mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony must stay at the house except for approved trips.

It was five years ago this month that Casey Anthony walked out the doors of Florida's Orange County jail a free woman. Once outside, Anthony was immediately greeted by hundreds of protestors, all outraged she'd been acquitted of murder charges in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Convinced of her guilt, the protestors heckled Anthony with loud booing and indignant jeers.

What is life like now for Anthony, who recently celebrated her 30th birthday? According to several sources, the woman once described by a Department of Corrections spokeswoman as "one of the most hated women in America" is bored.

PEOPLE's sources claim Casey Anthony still resides in South Florida and receives financial support from some members of her legal team.

Earlier this year, Anthony launched her own photography business, Case Photography. But she "has done very few projects," says one source.

Anthony has resumed dating, but sources claim she has only gone on a few dates since the acquittal and that those evenings have been spent almost exclusively with men she met "through her very small legal circle," a source says.

Sources say that Anthony's everyday existence, away from the glare of the media spotlight, is monotonous.

There's "not much is going on in her life," says a source close to her. "She gets up each day, hangs around, checks the internet, takes some pictures, and doesn't do much. She can't hold a real job, and she doesn't really make a lot of friends, for obvious reasons. When people find out about her history, they usually bail on her. Sources accuse Anthony of staging paparazzi-style photo ops when she's low on cash. She allegedly tries to sell these photos to various media outlets.

"She's got enough money to live, but not enough to really do anything," says the source. "She sort of lives like an old person, on a fixed income without much going on in her life. She's bored, and she complains about boredom all the time."

According to three different sources, Casey Anthony no longer regularly speaks with her parents, George and Cindy Anthony.

"They don't really talk," a source tells PEOPLE. Adds a different source, "She has spoken with her mother a few times, but she doesn't talk to her dad at all."

Things have been difficult for Casey's parents, too. While they collected $600,000 for appearing on Dr. Phil in 2011, they are now out of money once again.

Sources say they staved off foreclosure on their home but that neither of them is employed, sources say.

Meanwhile, Anthony's brother, Lee, is said to have a strained relationship with his sister. Sources say this is due, in part, to Casey's accusation at trial that he molested her.

Lee married his longtime girlfriend, cancer survivor Mallory Parker, in 2012, but Casey did not attend the ceremony, say sources. The couple's since had a baby boy, Parker Lee Anthony.

Anthony explained to Jackson that she didn’t find her true passion and the potential solution to her financial woes until she began babysitting for her neighbors 2 small children. According to Anthony, she began watching the 2 children when their 36-year old single mother Debbie Higgins started a new career and was in desperate need of childcare. Anthony told the reporter that she believes the home daycare business to be a perfect fit, because she is not only passionate about children, but it’s something that she can do from home and be her own boss. She hopes that through her continued work with children she can earn back the trust of her community.
 
Debbie Higgins, the 37-year old single mother that’s been allowing Anthony to care for her children Jade and Martin told reporters, “Admittedly, I was initially reluctant to leave my kids in the care of Casey, it was a tough decision to make, but I had to put food on the table and couldn’t afford traditional daycare. It’s been an amazing experience, Casey is very nurturing and my kids absolutely adore her.”
 
Anthony’s plan to operate a daycare business out of her home has caused a fair amount of unrest among Florida residents, however according to officials, Mrs. Anthony was not found guilty in the disappearance of her 2-year old daughter and is free to start any legitimate business she chooses including a home based childcare service.

Judge Belvin Perry’s theory about what happened to Caylee Anthony has caused a sensation across the internet, and Perry has a theory about that, too.

“Everybody still wants to know what happened to this little girl. How did she die?” Perry told me Friday. “This thing is never going to go away until that’s answered. How did this wonderful, beautiful child die? That question may never be answered. The only one who can answer it is Casey Anthony.”

Perry acknowledged that many people might not buy anything Anthony would say about her 2-year-old daughter. He pointed to a theory involving George Anthony, Casey’s dad, that the defense team put forward at the trial six years ago.

“Not many people are buying the drowning death. I do not see George Anthony taking that body and dumping it like a piece of trash. I just don’t,” Perry said.

But Casey Anthony was acquitted of first-degree murder on July 5, 2011.

Perry was astonished by the reaction to his theory that Anthony may have accidentally killed Caylee by trying to quiet the child with chloroform.

Perry saw no ethical problem with commenting on the case.

“If I was still on the bench I wouldn’t comment on it,” said Perry who retired in 2014. “I commented on a theory as to what could have happened based on the evidence. Everybody has their opinion. There are a lot of theories. As I indicated, anybody can theorize, including me.”

Perry had a simple response about why he talked.

“The question was asked,” he said. “Generally people always wonder. A month doesn’t go by that I don’t get stopped in the grocery store or on the street. They thank me for my service or ask me what happened to Caylee Anthony.”

Casey's the only one that knows.  She let her baby decompose in her car, she knew she wasn't going to be ok.  I think she wants to continue to make people think it was a drowning and George took charge.  I think if anyone else had known, Caylee wouldn't have been left in the trunk of the car like that.

I had to come and tell you that Investigation Discovery (ID) is doing a 3-part show of the Anthony Circus. It starts this Sunday and concludes on Tuesday. I'm hooked on that channel!

Everytime they show the commercial, Georgie Porgie is talking and then spreads his hands out wide...it looks very rehearsed...like a body language expert told him "hold your arms wide and they will believe you". So, naturally, that made me think of Sacred Monkeys...and I found my bookmark so I could warn you. It looks like ol Mushroom Head and Georgie are interviewed...but not the skank monster herself.

1. Casey Anthony’s Grandmother, Shirley Plesea, Alleged She Was a Habitual Thief

After Casey’s arrest, cops interviewed her grandmother, Shirley Plesea, who alleged that Casey had stolen money from her — writing two checks from her account. Plesea alleged that Casey had stolen $54 to buy a cake and party favors for Caylee’s 2nd birthday, and then wrote another check for $354 for her cell phone bill.

The day before Casey and Caylee vanished for 30 days, Plesea reported the alleged thefts to Cindy — and she believed that Cindy went home to confront Casey.

In her police interview, Plesea was still angry. She suggested it might do Casey some good to get “beat up” in jail. She said her last words to Casey Anthony were, “I love you, but I don’t like you.”

Casey, now 32, was never charged with the alleged theft from her grandmother, although she was later convicted of stealing money from her friend Amy Huizenga.

George Anthony, father of notorious killer, Casey Anthony, was released from the hospital on Thursday following a fiery one-person car crash in November, and an insider says the near-fatal crash left him with injuries that could possibly be permanent.

People reports that a source close to the Anthony family revealed that the 67-year-old may not be able to fully walk on his own again, but if he does, it will be long process to recovery. George sustained spinal cord and nerve damage, along with internal injuries after he crashed his SUV while driving down Interstate 4 on November 26.

The elder Anthony flipped his vehicle several times near the State Road 44 and U.S. Highway 92 exits in Daytona Beach. According to witnesses, he was covered in blood when first responders arrived. No one else was involved in the crash.

After spending a month in the hospital, George emerged on Thursday wearing a halo brace and grasping onto a metal walker as medical assistant followed closely behind him.

“There was a question about whether he would ever walk again,” an Anthony family insider told People. “He was in a wheelchair in the hospital as he recovered and it was really dire. He moves very, very slowly now, using a walker. He has a lot of neck and shoulder pain, and he’s in a brace from head to waist. He’s never going to be the same.”

As CrimeOnline previously reported, a Florida Highway Patrol report indicated that Anthony didn’t appear to be distracted, wasn’t drunk, and did not have obstructed vision. He was also wearing a shoulder and lap seatbelt when the incident occurred. The report also stated that George briefly communicated with authorities and told them he had a “medical issue,” but had no recollection of the crash occurring.

Meanwhile, Casey Anthony, George’s only daughter, has reportedly not reached at all to her father after his crash.

“She didn’t talk to him for years before the accident,” the unnamed source told People in November. “Why would she talk to him now? It wouldn’t make any sense. She has no intention to talk to him.”

George has had a strained relationship with his daughter after her 2011 trial, when she was acquitted for the murder of her daughter, 2-year-old Caylee Anthony. In 2017, George said his relationship with Casey Anthony had turned non-existent, and he warned her to stay away from him.
“Stay away. Stay away from me. If she wants a relationship again with her mom, she’s got a lot of explaining to do, but I don’t want to hear it no more. I don’t want to see her.”

ORLANDO, Fla. - The attorneys for George and Cindy Anthony, whose daughter, Casey Anthony, was tried and found not guilty for killing her daughter, Caylee, are asking their foreclosure trial be postponed, after George was badly injured in a crash on I-4.

WFTV Channel 9 was first to report in November that George Anthony drove off I-4 westbound in Daytona Beach and flipped his wife Cindy’s Toyota 4-Runner.

A witness told Florida Highway Patrol that Anthony traveled off the right shoulder a few miles before the exit for SR-44 on Saturday, Nov. 24. Anthony tried to swerve back onto the roadway before losing control and overturning several times, traveling through the right, center and left lanes before coming to a rest off the median shoulder, FHP said.

The airbag in Anthony's vehicle didn't inflate because the vehicle didn't strike anything, FHP said. George Anthony, 67, suffered “incapacitating” injuries. His current condition is still unknown.

As George Anthony recovers, he and his wife are facing foreclosure on the home the media camped out in front of for months as the search continued for their granddaughter, Caylee.

The trial was scheduled to start March 1, but court documents show the Anthonys and their attorney are asking for the trial to be delayed because the accident precludes him from appearing or speaking at the trial.

The home is where Casey Anthony was living when her daughter disappeared and was later found dead.  ::snipping3:: ::snipping3::

Paperwork for a new company called “Case Research & Consulting Services LLC” was filed with the Florida Division of Corporation under Anthony’s name on Dec. 14.

Casey Anthony spoke out on camera for the first time since her acquittal of the murder of her daughter Caylee Anthony in the Peacock docuseries Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies.

Caylee was last seen alive on June 16, 2008, and Casey's mother Cindy reported Caylee missing on July 15, 2008, after Casey told Cindy that she hadn't seen Caylee in a month. That December, Caylee's remains were found in the woods near the Anthony family home.

Casey repeatedly lied to police and was eventually arrested and charged with first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, manslaughter of a child and providing false information to law enforcement. She was acquitted of all charges except lying to police.

Casey said the reason she waited so long to speak out was that she wanted to properly "honor" her daughter.
