Northern I had never heard that song before and when I saw them skate to it I fell in love with Claude. I have always loved Shae Lynn and Victor, but Claude is awesome and very good on the ice.

I'm too far behind to ever catch up.  Out of sight but never out of mind, you all are in my thoughts and prayers. 

Life has been busy with work & Bubba, but always thinking and praying for the missing, murdered, abused and neglected.

Marie-France injured her back in rehersal for Sunday and compresed two discs so could not do the final skate off as being one of the bottom two couples.  The judges have let all three couples move forward to the finals on Sunday.  Shae-Lynn and Claude were the top couple.

Northern, I hope you and yours get back to normal soon. One thing I would advise to make YOU feel better: Drive to ex's house. Sneeze and cough in his face and brush your teeth with his toothbrush. Then, kick him in the family jewels for taking such lousy care of your son! Sure, it's all mean, but it might make you feel better!

I watched all three, and I think this one is my favorite. 

This was Katrina Witt's favourite hockey player as after the second number they skated she asked if he would do a 3 some with her..... the other judges were speechless, as the way she said it you could not tell if she meant skating.

Oldest did it for me in spades today. He works for his dad as well.  When they told him he was being admitted he made three calls, one to cancel his date for tonight, next to his brother with the collapsed lung, and the last  to the office manager at work.  He got the office manager's voice mail and told them he was in hospital and would not be in this week even if he did get out, to let the forman know, and to tell his "old man".

I love that song as well and in all the versions I have heard, I like Claude singing the best.  I hope he releases it with money going to his charity for the download.  You should be in the next Blades

My thoughts are with you and your family Northern Rose. I guess I wasn't thinking before about someone helping you, I didn't even think about someone coming to help and catching the flu, I only meant for you to have help

Rose, thanks so much for posting these! I'm a big skating fan (and do skate a very little, but not like JSM) and am always mad when I miss the shows on TV. Tonight I had the choice (after class) of watching V, NCIS, or these videos. I'm glad I chose yours, thanks so much! They were beautiful!!!

We were forced to learn figure skating in gym class.  All kids learn to skate in elemetary school and then when I hit middle school they seperated the boys and teach them hockey and the girls got forced to learn figure skating including edges, jumps, spins etc.  After I had three boys I tossed my figure skates for hockey skates    I will post the finals if they get youtubed.  Stupid CBC for blocking the vidoes!   How are you feeling?  I hope you are managing and getting stronger.

Claude does amazing platter lifts!  There was a recent interview of Cl and SL and SL said that she is taller and stockier than a lot of couples females and never had the chance to do platter  lifts till now really.  She looked really happy about it.
