Any one know what and where this FREE DRUG ZONE is in aruba?

Smugglers generally move large loads of cocaine into Aruba on fishing vessels, private yachts, and go-fast boats; and out of Aruba inside maritime containerized cargo and airfreights. Drug trafficking organizations continue to exploit Aruba’s air and sea links to the CONUS, South America, Europe, Puerto Rico, and other Caribbean nations. Most of the cocaine transiting Aruba is destined for European markets (primarily the Netherlands).

Aruba has large free-zone facilities (areas that allow goods to be held and then re-shipped elsewhere without paying an import or duty tax) providing opportunities for bulk shipments of cocaine to transit the area without the scrutiny of local officials. Cocaine shipments in containerized shipping increasingly are transiting the area, specifically the free-zone. The free-zone facilities on Aruba are conducive to transshipments, not only of drugs, but also essential chemicals. In addition, some firms in the free-zone are suspected of involvement in money laundering activities.

See, now I'm starting to get pissed again.

You really think that I'm bloody looking in bushes and caves because of the economy? You really think that TOP is giving so much coverage because of money? You think that my friend who is in Red Cross volunteers because, God forbid, we might get a few less people next year?

Listen up, because I'm about to blow up. We're NOT, I repeat, NOT doing this because of money, economy or tourism. We're doing this because we care. We find it horrible that this has happened. We are as bewildered as you are if not more. We hear about NH morning, noon and night. We have your 'reporters' here, we post on your message boards, we talk about crazy theories, we pray for her in our churches. We will not accept anyone, ANYONE implying that we are money hungry or not caring.

I completely agree with Arubagirl.  These are some of the most caring folks we could ever run across.  God Bless Aruba! and America!

Arubirl,
I totally agree with you that it is not about the money! From everything I have read, and from getting to know arubans in here, I believe you really do CARE! It is very unfair for others to be playing the blame game. I for one want to thank you and others for all of your info!

Fox's NEWS ALERTS are really pissing me off, they're rarely new and usually just rehashes of stuff said 20 minutes ago.

Aruba girl look at the post numbers.  Some of these are trolls who lurk and then make ugly comments JUST TO START trouble.

If you ignore them, they go away.

Let's turn the citizens of Aruba, the victims and the USA against each other. That will really help the investigation. I'm sure the perps are loving this.

the first part, the scenarios, was the word on the street and from specific anonymous sources, the second part probably reflected local sentiment too.  don't quote me.  I am not the expert.  I just tried to follow the newscast beacuse it was on and newsworthy.

Does anyone know the last name of the girl Sasha who had the 15th Birthday party? Very blond, very pretty. So many pictures taken with guests on Pancalente, but couldn't tell who her parents were.

Dallas Too: Lausa, do we need to know that? She's a minor.

Catriana, maybe you are right about her being adopted.

The reason I am curious is because there is a group shot at the party that includes Joran, Sasha, Jaime, etc. plus a blond young man whose name has not turned up. He's in numerous Joran pics and looks like he could be a brother to Sasha.

Again I ask, why do we need her last name?

Folks, I have to go to dinner.  Ignore the trolls.  Be mindful of posting information, just be aware it could end up in the press.

You're all the best!  ttyl

Aruban girl It is about the money or lack of money if this case is not resolved.  This case started with a lie and the arrest of two innocent black men because it easy to balme the Black.  Aruba is racist and I hope that someone looks into the racism of aruba.  Also, the american people could tell this was a lie and saw through it.  So now we arrest the white boys and the indians.  this case is a whitwash and the aruban can not tell the truth.  I have never met an aruban that would not tell a lie for a dollar (american dollar that is)
