Sorry Scarey you are sick. Nyquil makes me hyper, but I love magic cough syrup the doctor gave me a while back.

I just got off the phone with my mom, her surgery is pushed back til 12:45, she is not happy because no diet coke tomorrow morning. 

I don't know how she is going to cope, my knee was done at 11 am, so I got up around 4 and drank a whole bottle (even though they say NPO after midnight) I did it anyways.

Oh yeah, won't I.  I told her I would come into her room with a diet coke once she gets to the hospital. When she took me for my last knee surgery, she had a HUGE cup of diet coke and I couldn't have any of it. First thing when I woke up, they asked me if I needed anything I said "diet coke" they wanted me to drink bottled water and I told them go get me a diet coke if you have to get it from the Chevron next door.  I got diet coke and peanut butter crackers.

If you are talking about from being on Shaniya's thread, no you asked good questions, and had valid points. To be honest that whole thing with Shaniya going to her moms and staying doesn't make a lot of sense. But not many things make sense anyway. Have a good night JSM and Josef

Why Brandi, special dresser to Bob, thank you! Mon-tues were pretty rough, that Neulasta will kick your asta! It makes my long bones HURT..to the point of not even being able to lay down and sleep. Some "kind" nurse offered to call in an Rx for me tonight, but she said "Oh, I just have to do this before I head off to a basketball game" in a tone that very much said I was being a pain in her keister. Result: she never callled it in. I left class early, came home and fiddled with what meds I have and got 4 hours of sleep. I sure hope she enjoyed her game! Instead of going postal on her, tho, I'm gonna just let it slide. I will have to take this neulasta every chemo treatment (to keep white blood counts up...so I can be around people) so I will just have to learn to tuff it out.

It did feel good to get dressed, put on my new boots, and see my friends in class. Silly doctors office thought I should just stay home and take care of myself. Bull puckey! Cancer is not gonna rule my life. Sure, I'll let it mess with it for a while, but in the end, I will show cancer who is the boss (hint: and she's wearing 3" heels!). And I'm not as angry as I was yesterday (but the rest of the girls in the fam have called jihad on selfish sis!), so it's getting better.

Now, about Bob's outfit...he may not look like it, but he's a real Christmas nut. Can you work with that, while keeping his personal integrity the same? YOu know, booze, butts, and snow? That'd be cool. Don't make him too animated, tho, you know he's not real steady on his feet!

Aww, Tevye, you have a right to have relief from pain. Your body won't heal as well if it has to fight pain and fatigue from lack of rest. The next time you see the nurse tell her there must have been a mix up at the pharmacy because they could not find the prescription she called in. That should keep her from "forgetting" the next time. This is a journey and you should not have to fight unnecessary battles.

About Bob ...I had a feeling Bob loves Christmas and loves being a little on the trashy side, so I think I did him justice. I'll be posting them all the Christmas avatars in my thread on December 1. I may even make a few special deliveries here as well.

Glad you went to class and enjoyed that. As I have said, your attitude is something else. I am amazed and enlightened by you. Yeah, I read about selfish sis. Glad the other family members are fighting that battle for you. About the meds ...Blu is right! Don't go without them when you need them. And you know when you need them. She gave you a perfect response to give to the nurse so she will take care of business for you.
