When I contacted said source, they extended the offer of the interview with a friend of Joran Van der Sloot. Also, while the subject desires anonymity in publication, her identity is known to me and has been verified through multiple layers of checking.

We had an extended discussion and I have multiple pages of notes to decipher, my hand writing sux, and work into a posting for later tonight.

Be informed - I did the interview straight and am not sensationalizing anything. One can always do that. It does not paint some terrible picture of Joran, nor does it contain ANY information pertinent to the resolution to the case. It is background, pure and simple."

Not sure...not unusual though, for here. Most of us travel a pretty good bit....there's always a Spanish, French, Latin trip. We had a Quebec trip earlier this past year...but I bet she went with her family. Europe...don't know. Maybe a Spanish trip? But if it was...those trips are different from this one.


Well travelled connotes to me a free spirit, not sure what kinda of point I wanna make.  I do keep getting confirmationt that the boys appear to be clean cut and not the persons they are dispicted as...again I could be wrong...YOu were not in Aruba were you?  Cuz I am curious to find out what the shoveling matach was about ...

When I originally went to college in 1992, I was studying to be an English teacher....but I had to withdraw.  Just graduated at age 30 with a degree in Sociology and Public Health.

So, I'm 30, married, looking for a job...sigh

No don't cry...there are people here in MB who are having a MUCH harder time than I am...I talked to one of her roomates earlier today, and they aren't doing too well. I don't know her well, just as a classmate that I like...her closest friends are the ones to worry about! Pray for them!
