It is normal to offer a reward for a live person or the prosecution of the perpetrator.  I have never seen a reward for a child advertised as payable "Living or Dead."  I think the posters for John Wilkes Booth and Jesse James were "Dead or Alive," and Osama Bin Ladin, I believe, but not a missing child.

http://www.ojjdp.gov/pubs/childismissing/ch6.html

"Clearly state the purpose of the offer. First decide what you want the reward to accomplish, then make sure that this purpose is clearly spelled out in the offer. For example, it is a good idea to make your child's safe return a written condition of the reward. The better the description of the reward's purpose, the less likely it is that you will have to argue later over whether someone complied with the terms of the offer"

It seems to me that if a reward is offered for a dead child, the incentive to kill the child will be advanced.  Further, I doubt that Lisa's parents had anything at all to do with the wording of the reward notice. Even if they did, it is not they who would be paying the reward.

The comment about how Deborah holds her teeth when she cries is just inexplicable to me.  I don't know who took Lisa.  I don't know if her parents did it, her mother did it, her father did it, a stranger did it.  In fact no one knows who kidnapped Lisa except the person or persons who did it, and certainly no one here knows.   But I do know as an indisputable fact that the way Deborah holds her teeth when she cries does not indicate guilt.  When I look at the video of Deborah crying, it breaks my heart.  It might affect others differently.  But I know it does not indicate she murdered her daughter.

I want pull a wagon with baked potatoes, granola bars, and hot coffee for encouragement to anyone searching for my child.
Wild horses would not stop me searching, I don't care, if  someone told me I could not search, I would put a wig on and follow the search parties.  This sounds extreme, I agree, how the heck can you hide your face, when your fresh and blood is out there somewhere, unless you already know something?

I keep checking each day with the hope that Lisa has been found.  That hope fades a little each day.  I would be insane with grief and worry.  I wouldn't be able to stay away from LE offices or from in front of a camera begging for my baby to be returned.  I know we all handle things differently, but a mother fights for her child.  Its instinctive.

I agree .. Look at Summer Thompsons Mom! she said "I will find you"
People do handle things differently BUT come on... I see the behavior, the things they say how thy say it.the IMPORTANT things they dont do or did not tell LE till 2 days later.(prob becuz LE said we know about this) had to drag it out of them! THE FOCUS is not on the baby from the mom and dad IMO they act like they already know shes gone.

Sixty-five percent down Smile

I am not posting anything unless it is written in stone.  HM is discussing a possible relative, I have not connected him
to the family.

Pages 10 and page 11 are interesting reading. HM including a few links on 11, that I haven't seen.  Hat's off to their work Smile

Could Jersey be on witness protective program?  No one has seen him since he was supposedly bounced out of the bar.

Not sure but they have to find him now just to rule him out and yeah correct that pesky probation violation.

This guy I am most hinky about.  We have an apparent alcoholic, B&E person, stayed across street from 10 month old baby girl who is missing.

Wonder if LE looked up his past criminal record to check out his MO of Break ins.  Like does he leave lights on???  Does he steal random things like older cell phones???  Sounds like these things could be right up this guys alley...imo.

I doubt that if they are trying to be descrete about passing his pic around like wildfire. shame thy cant find him. wonder why hes hiding? maybe mom cheated w him and somethin happened to baby he helped. I have no Idea.. IM NOT saying thats what happened to the sensitive folks here. since LE cannot release info all we can do is guess and speculate on what we do know.

Just a thought.

Jersey may not have wanted the baby himself but could have taken her for money/booze for someone else...Jersey would/could be expendable to this type of person.

wasnt zahras dad arrested for prior stuff later? I forgot what it was for but they waited to watch him? Im not sure if Debbie Violated her probation? she prob was allowed to buy alchohol. why would she be worried about an arrest? thats the last thing Id be worried about if my baby was gone that would never cross my mind.

from guy in video; she rented a room from him and stopped paying her rent in August so he kicked her out.  This guy knows some shit on Jersey and just a vibe I get....it ain't good.

You'd think they could track him from his girlfriend...he should not be this hard for LE to find imo.  Infact it sounds like he should of already been under arrest prior to this baby going missing but LE is never proactive enough to suit me.  I personally do not have faith in LE in this case infact I lose more and more faith in them everyday in general but that's me.

KC bishop charged for not bringing porn to police

(AP)  KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City's Catholic bishop has become the highest-ranking U.S. Catholic official indicted on a charge of failing to protect children after he and his diocese waited five months to tell police about hundreds of images of child pornography discovered on a priest's computer, officials said Friday

Did Jeremy and Deborah belong to a Church?   Haven't heard a peep from any Church.

The baby is almost a year old and should have been Baptized, they are both the same religion, (I believe).

Is this important?  I think so, the church attendance, would show a serious commitment to their children.

I looked for churches (on line) and bulletins do exist (on-line), I do not wish to read a bulletin's

The only mention of church I remember is Metro Life Church as mentioned in this article.

$100,000 reward in Lisa Irwin disappearance
Security consultant makes announcement but won't say who's putting up money

10/14/2011
 ::snipping2::
Stanton says the logistics of how the reward would be distributed haven't been determined.

A spokesman for Kansas City's TIPS Hotline says it hasn't been contacted about the reward. The nonprofit hotline overseen by Kansas City authorities has been fielding hundreds of calls on the case.

I am pretty sure the money is coming from one of the big 3 networks..that is the only way that amount of money is raised and Wild Bill shows up at the same time....that's what he does..he works for networks.

I really feel so sad inside knowing that crimes have come to this, particularily missing children...that ll the networks only get on board once their exclusive deal is done and that they really are about the ratings and not finding the child.  It would be big ratings right now for a network not to anti bucks ..but to send reporters and investigators with no strings attached..but that isn't happening here..and it doesn't seem to happen at all .

There are so many missing person and child abduction cases..why this one..why not Celina in NH, why not most of the others...because the parents won't make a deal with the devil for the publicity or sell pics..not right in my mind..not right..this doesn't help the investigation it hinders it....

I can speak from personal experience with a family member missing and by having the networks and SM & Dana Pretzer doing interviews it brought enough attention to the public so the results ended good. There is good
& bad I guess with it. Beth Holloway was instrumental in what to do if your child is missing.
